Effect of enhanced coagulation by KMnO(4) on the fouling of ultrafiltration membranes

Pre-coagulation enhanced by KMnO(4) before ultrafiltration (KCUF) was compared with normal pre-coagulation by alum (CUF) in the ultrafiltration of water from the Songhua River, China. The trans-membrane pressure (TMP) with KCUF was much lower than that when alum alone was used. With KCUF a slower increment of TMP occurred, even under conditions of high river water turbidity. The results also showed that the removal of COD, UV(254) and TOC was appreciably higher after adding 0.5mg/L KMnO(4) compared with CUF. Although assimilable organic carbon (AOC) was increased by permanganate treatment, the AOC of the permeate from KCUF was nearly the same as that from CUF, showing that the cake layer on the surface of KCUF membrane could adsorb small molecules more effectively than that of CUF. This result was confirmed by the apparent molecular weight (MW) distribution measured by size exclusion chromatography (SEC). It was shown that flocs formed by KMnO(4) and alum were larger than those formed only by alum, causing higher removal of flocs and higher permeation flux. Lower NOM was found in the permeate from the KCUF systems because oxidation and adsorption of organic matter on the flocs occurred. The membrane was partly clogged by organic matter or other materials including some small flocs.     

基于HCM的可扩展路由器体系结构MER

本文提出了基于层次化协同模型的多维可扩展路由器MER。参考Open Router路由器模型,利用层次化协同模型实现了独立于数据层的控制平台CSP,奠定了开放控制的基础;基于功能插件和抽象插件构造了基于插件的路由器抽象层PRA,分离了控制与转发平面,支持路由器转发平面功能的动态扩展;并举例说明了MER中高效的网络应用控制路由选择机制,体现了直接控制原理,有助于设计更为复杂的控制策略。模拟结果表明,MER具有良好的扩展性,支持网络应用直接控制,为控制平面智能化奠定基础。     

“碳达峰、碳中和”目标下的电力系统成本及价格水平预测

电力系统在碳达峰碳中和目标实现过程中,电源结构、电网形态等将发生重大变化,系统成本也将随之改变。在综合考虑电源结构、发电造价、燃料成本、电网投资等因素变化基础上,采用经营期法和“成本+收益”方法,开展中远期电力系统成本及价格水平预测。研究结果表明,未来电力系统各环节成本均呈上升趋势,其中电源侧成本在2040年前快速增长、之后相对稳定,而电网侧成本保持小幅上涨趋势。该研究可为进一步完善电价机制和市场化制度、加强电力系统成本疏导和公平分担提供参考依据。     

Automated analysis of nerve-cell images using active contour models

The number of nerve fibers (axons) in a nerve, the axon size, and shape can all be important neuroanatomical features in understanding different aspects of nerves in the brain. However, the number of axons in a nerve is typically in the order of tens of thousands and a study of a particular aspect of the nerve often involves many nerves. Potentially meaningful studies are often prohibited by the huge number involved when manual measurements have to be employed. A method that automates the analysis of axons from electron-micrographic images is presented. It begins with a rough identification of all the axon centers by use of an elliptical Hough transform procedure. Boundaries of each axons are then extracted based on active contour model, or snakes, approach where physical properties of the axons and the given image data are used in an optimization scheme to guide the snakes to converge to axon boundaries for accurate sheath measurement. However, false axon detection is still common due to poor image quality and the presence of other irrelevant cell features, thus a conflict resolution scheme is developed to eliminate false axons to further improve the performance of detection. The developed method has been tested on a number of nerve images and its results are presented.     

Building a portable data and information interoperability infrastructure-framework for a standard Taiwan Electronic Medical Record Template

Traditional electronic health record (EHR) data are produced from various hospital information systems. They could not have existed independently without an information system until the incarnation of XML technology. The interoperability of a healthcare system can be divided into two dimensions: functional interoperability and semantic interoperability. Currently, no single EHR standard exists that provides complete EHR interoperability. In order to establish a national EHR standard, we developed a set of local EHR templates. The Taiwan Electronic Medical Record Template (TMT) is a standard that aims to achieve semantic interoperability in EHR exchanges nationally. The TMT architecture is basically composed of forms, components, sections, and elements. Data stored in the elements which can be referenced by the code set, data type, and narrative block. The TMT was established with the following requirements in mind: (1) transformable to international standards; (2) having a minimal impact on the existing healthcare system; (3) easy to implement and deploy, and (4) compliant with Taiwan's current laws and regulations. The TMT provides a basis for building a portable, interoperable information infrastructure for EHR exchange in Taiwan.

掺杂α-Ni(OH)2制备及其电化学性能研究

α-Ni(OH)2具有较高的比容量。采用掺杂技术制备得到的样品具有与α-Ni(OH)2相同的结构和特征,放电比容量达到315m Ah/g,纯N i(OH)2比容量达到420m Ah/g,且所得样品以0.3C循环100次容量保持92%左右,适宜于作为碱性蓄电池的活性物质。
