When an anomaly occurs in aSDH network, many notifications are emitted towards the supervision center. The emission of these notifications is the result of the signals treatment on the level of the objects describing the network. This document describes the modeling process of the behavior and the interaction between the objects intervening in the data processing of faults management. Considering the highly dynamic nature of wireless networks, the major challenge in this environment is the provision of QoS guarantees that different applications demand. Recent research is interested in advance resource reservation to provide the necessary QoS to the mobile terminals. Another way to obtain a better use of the resources in this environment is to determine the future locations of the mobile terminal. This paper describes a user’s mobility profile management based approach for advance resource reservation in wireless networks; it is based on theNsis signaling. This reservation is based on an objectMspec (Mobility Specification) which determines the future location of the mobile terminal. The mspec object is a part of a user’s mobility profile; this last is determined by the mobile terminal. Another applicability of our user’s mobility profile is in the 4G wireless systems, in this case; the mobile terminal supports various access technologies and the user’s mobility profile is used to adapt the vertical and the diagonal handover to the user’s needs. 相似文献

With increasing demand of new wireless applications and increasing number of wireless user’s, problem of spectrum scarcity arises. In this context, cognitive radio supports dynamic spectrum access to address spectrum scarcity problem. Cognitive radio defined the cognitive radio nodes by their ability to intelligently adapt the environment to achieve specific objectives through advanced techniques. The variance of channel availability for cognitive radio nodes degrades connectivity and robustness of this type of network; in this case the use of clustering is an effective approach to meet this challenge. Indeed, the geographical areas are homogeneous in terms of type of radio spectrum, radio resources are better allocated by grouping cognitive radio nodes per cluster. Clustering is interesting to effectively manage the spectrum or routing in cognitive radio ad hoc networks. In this paper, we aim to improve connectivity and cooperativeness of cognitive radio nodes based on the improvement of the k-means algorithm. Our proposed algorithm is applied in cognitive radio ad hoc networks. The obtained results in terms of exchange messages and execution time show the feasibility of our algorithm to form clusters in order to improve connectivity and cooperativeness of cognitive radio nodes in the context of cognitive radio ad hoc networks. 相似文献

This paper describes a signalling environment for Quality of Service (QoS) negotiation and advance resource reservation in mobile IP networks. This environment is built in conformance with the generic signalling environment, which is standardized by the NSIS IETF working group. The advanced resource reservation protocol, called MQoS NSLP, is based on the QoS NSLP signalling application. It provides to mobile terminals the QoS required based on the user's mobility and QoS profile. In this work, we investigate the use of some techniques of the AI (Artificial Intelligence) domain to implement a user interface called NIA (Negotiation Individual Assistant) in order to determine the QoS profile and negotiate the QoS parameters in the new domain after the handover. Therefore, we use connectionist learning in the management of the negotiation profiles and agent technology to help the user choose the best service provider, dynamically negotiate the QoS on the user's behalf, and follow the user's behaviour to be able to anticipate the negotiation and manage renegotiation. The advance resource reservation is based on an object MSpec (Mobility Specification) which determines the future location of the mobile terminal. Self‐aware management allows the network to react and to adapt to changes of situation. In this paper an architecture is described for self‐aware management of IP networks offering QoS guarantees. This architecture uses policy‐based management and multi‐agent systems. The originality of the present approach lies in the intention to give a real autonomy to the components intervening in the chain of services in terms of internal decisions and configuration. With the emergence of multimedia applications that have real constraints, ensuring a satisfying quality of service to mobile users presents a big challenge in heterogeneous wireless networks. In such environment, the asymmetry of the available resources as well as user’s mobility can cause offered QoS degradation. In this paper, we propose the use of the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) within a QoS adaptive IPTV services in a novel IMS architecture. The multi-homing feature and the partial reliability extension allow improving the network performance and increasing the user satisfaction. In addition, we have proposed an mSCTP based mobility scheme to guarantee service continuity during handover to IPTV users over IMS. The handover decision includes Perceived QoS (PQoS) measurement reflecting the user satisfaction and Media Independent Handover (MIH) information. An analytical study of the time required to perform IPTV adaptation, show that our approach improves the performance by minimizing the delay and maximizing the user satisfaction. 相似文献
