Green communication has emerged as the most important concept for the next generation networks. Along with improved data rate and capacity, the upcoming 5G networks aim at improving energy efficiency without compromising on the user experience. In this paper, we have used amplify and forward relays in the heterogeneous network topology consisting of low power and high power nodes. A three layered system model for power optimization is discussed using a relay selection strategy for power optimization with the aim to improve energy efficiency of the network. Further, we have used Hidden Markov Model for training and maintaining of base station, relay and SCA with the aim of probabilistic power allocation to client nodes in order to solve the power optimization problem. We have also used adaptive modulation schemes for lowering the power consumption of the network to meet our goal of green communication for the next generation network.  相似文献

The rheological properties and mechanical properties of percolated cyanate ester monomer/layered silicate mixtures are reported. A number of different cation exchanged montmorillonites were examined in an effort to achieve maximal montmorillonite delamination. The dispersion throughout the cyanate ester of a montmorillonite with phenylated ammonium cations (2MBHT MMT) results in the formation of a percolated network. The rheology of this percolated network undergoes a viscous liquid to elastic solid transition at 4 wt% montmorillonite. The percolation of the montmorillonite in the cyanate ester results in a significant improvement in crack resistance (80%) without a sacrifice of flexural strength.  相似文献

A study of prevalence of tuberculosis in Kishtwar tehsil of Jammu region was conducted from June 1991 to May 1992. A total of one thousand two hundred ninety-eight rural as well as urban population suffering from various types of lung diseases was studied for prevalence of tuberculosis and a sizeable number (98) of patients were found to be positive of various types of tuberculosis, viz, pulmonary tuberculosis, tuberculous pleural effusion and miliary tuberculosis. Of the population studied 7.55% were found to be positive for tuberculosis and among them 88.76% patients were anaemic and the commonest type of anaemia was normocytic normochromic and normocytic hypochromic. The ESR was raised in almost of all the patients. Of the population, 80.61% were seen to be positive on skiagram chest and 58.16% were found to be positive on other diagnostic tests like Mantoux's tests, sputum for acid-fast bacilli, etc. Mantoux's test was positive in 27.55% cases and sputum was positive in 30.61% cases. All the cases studied were subjected to special investigations. The changes in parameters are consistent with the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Large family size, poverty, excessive smoking, illiteracy, etc, are the major contributing factors.  相似文献

Rational structure-based drug design relies on a detailed, atomic-level understanding of protein–ligand interactions. The chiral nature of drug binding sites in proteins has led to the discovery of predominantly chiral drugs. A mechanistic understanding of stereoselectivity (which governs how one stereoisomer of a drug might bind stronger than the others to a protein) depends on the topology of stereocenters in the chiral molecule. Chiral graphs and reduced chiral graphs, introduced here, are new topological representations of chiral ligands using graph theory, to facilitate a detailed understanding of chiral recognition of ligands/drugs by proteins. These representations are demonstrated by application to all ≈14 000+ chiral ligands in the Protein Data Bank (PDB), which will facilitate an understanding of protein–ligand stereoselectivity mechanisms. Ligand modifications during drug development can be easily incorporated into these chiral graphs. In addition, these chiral graphs present an efficient tool for a deep dive into the enormous chemical structure space to enable sampling of unexplored structural scaffolds.  相似文献

This work examines the effect of Na montmorillonite (Na MMT) and cation exchanged layered montmorillonite on the polymerization of a cyanate ester monomer (1,1-bis(4-cyanatophenyl)ethane). The cyanate ester polymerization reaction is examined using a traditional catalyst and several montmorillonites. Thermal properties of the liquid monomer mixtures and final polymers were investigated, along with the montmorillonite structural changes that occur during the various stages of polymerization. It was found that Na montmorillonite catalyzed the polymerization reaction and that the catalytic activity increased upon sodium cation exchange in the montmorillonite gallery. Montmorillonite catalyzed systems were found to have superior properties (cross-link homogeneity and extent of polymerization) compared to traditionally catalyzed cyanate ester-montmorillonite polymers. Evidence suggests that the montmorillonite structure is a mixture of exfoliated layers and intercalated tactoids. The intercalated montmorillonite was found to undergo a two-step layer expansion process beginning with monomer permeation into the gallery, followed by expansion possibly caused by monomer/polymer reorientation within the gallery.  相似文献
