Conclusion The investigations showed a high resistance to swelling in an alloy of uranium with small amounts of aluminium and chromium at a burnup value of 1 at.%. The article presents an algorithm for texture transfer between images that is up to several orders of magnitude faster than current state-of-the-art techniques. I demonstrate how the technique can leverage self-similarity of complex images to increase resolution of some types of images and to create novel, artistic looking images from photographs without any prior artistic source. Compared to other alternatives, methods based on texture transfer are global in the sense that the user need not deal with details such as defining and painting individual brush strokes. Texture transfer methods are also more general since they don't need to emulate any particular artistic style (line drawing, hatching, realistic oil painting, and so on). Not surprisingly, there is a price to pay for this generality - an algorithm designed for a specific artistic style will most likely produce results superior to those presented in the paper for that particular case. 相似文献

This paper presents the results of the numerical simulation of the through electrohydrodynamic (EHD) flow in a symmetric system of electrodes placed in a channel with dielectric walls and filled with a liquid dielectric. Based on this model, we study the changes in the structure of the through flow at different levels of the low-voltage conduction of the dielectric fluid. The analysis of the solutions shows that the flow structure with conductivities up to 10?11 S/m hardly differs from the case of the zero conduction. The recombination of the charge grows at the larger values of the low-voltage conduction in the near-electrode layers, resulting in the lower penetration of the injected charge into the bulk and reorganization of the kinematics of the arising EHD through flow, which is reflected in a shift of the acceleration zone towards the active electrode. 相似文献

A coding and modulation technique is studied where the coded bits of an irregular low-density parity-check (LDPC) code are passed directly to a modulator. At the receiver, the variable nodes of the LDPC decoder graph are connected to detector nodes, and iterative decoding is accomplished by viewing the variable and detector nodes as one decoder. The code is optimized by performing a curve fitting on extrinsic information transfer charts. Design examples are given for additive white Gaussian noise channels, as well as multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels where the receiver, but not the transmitter, knows the channel. For the MIMO channels, the technique operates within 1.25 dB of capacity for various antenna configurations, and thereby outperforms a scheme employing a parallel concatenated (turbo) code by wide margins when there are more transmit than receive antennas. 相似文献
