Copolymers of 2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate-2-vinyl pyridine (H/V) of different composition were synthesized by free radical bulk polymerization using azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator under nitrogen atmosphere. The copolymer compositions were calculated from 1H NMR spectra. The reactivity ratios for H/V copolymers obtained from a linear Kelen-Tudos method (KT) and nonlinear error-in-variables method (EVM) are rH = 0.50 ± 0.10, rV = 1.04 ± 0.08 and rH = 0.55, rV = 1.06 respectively. The complete spectral assignment of methine, methylene, methyl, carbonyl, and aromatic carbon regions in term of compositional and configurational sequences of H/V copolymers were done with the help of 13C{1H} NMR, distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer (DEPT), two-dimensional heteronuclear single quantum coherence (HSQC) along with total correlated spectroscopy (TOCSY). © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Investigations were carried out in a long term field experiment from 1976 to 1982, on a loamy sand soil to find out the fertilizer requirements of groundnut and wheat grown in fixed rotation. Application of 26 kgP/ha to wheat alone was found to be sufficient for both wheat and succeeding groundnut. Application of phosphorus to both wheat and groundnut did not result in extra beneficial effect over P application to wheat alone. However, application of 26 kg P/ha to groundnut alone was not sufficient for succeeding wheat. There was no response from K application (25 kg K/ha) in either of these two crops. Increasing the dose of N from 50–150 kg/ha to wheat significantly increased the grain yield of wheat but the pod yield of succeeding groundnut were markedly lowered. Response of wheat to 150 kg N/ha was more marked when P was also applied to wheat and response was less when P was applied to preceding groundnut alone. Zinc application at 6.25 kg/ha to wheat alone resulted in significant increase in grain yield of wheat and pod yield of succeeding groundnut. 相似文献

The absorption, fluorescence excitation and emission spectroscopy, and time‐dependent spectrofluorimetry have been used to study the photophysics of copolymers of N‐vinylcarbazole with different monomers like vinyl acetate, methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, and butyl methacrylate in dichloromethane. In all the copolymers and at different N‐vinylcarbazole content, the absorption spectra reflect only the monomer carbazole units. The two kinds of excited monomer species of N‐vinylcarbazole are present in S1 state. Short‐lived (~3 ns) excited monomer decays forming low energy excimer obtained by the complete overlap of the excited carbazole monomer. The long‐lived excited monomer (~8 ns) decays to ground state without formation of any excimer. The high energy excimer is relatively short‐lived and is formed by the partial overlap of the carbazole units. Copolymers of N‐acryloylcarbazole (A) and vinyl acetate (V) were synthesized by bulk polymerization using benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as free‐radical initiator at 65°C in different in‐feed ratios. The composition of the copolymer was determined by 1H‐NMR spectrum. The comonomer reactivity ratios, determined by Kelen–Tudos (KT) and nonlinear error‐in‐variables (EVM) methods, were rA= 16.75 ± 1.38, rV = 0.015 ± 0.002, and rA = 16.36, rV = 0.015, respectively. Complete spectral assignments of the 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectra of the copolymers were done by the help of distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer (DEPT) and two‐dimensional NMR techniques such as heteronuclear single quantum coherence (HSQC) and total correlation spectroscopy (TOCSY). The methine and methylene carbon resonances were found to be compositional as well as configurational sensitive. The signals obtained were broad pertaining to the restricted rotation of bulky carbazole group. The thermal stability and glass‐transition temperatures (Tg) of the copolymers were found to be dependant on polymer composition and characteristic of rotational rigidity of the polymer chain. Variation in the values of Tg with the copolymer composition was found to be in good agreement with theoretical values obtained from Johnston and Barton equations. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Submerged citric acid (CA) bioproduction was carried out by Aspergillus niger NRRL‐567 using various industrial wastes, such as brewery spent liquid (BSL), lactoserum and starch industry water sludge. CA bioproduction was carried out by varying the temperature (25–35 °C), pH (3–5), addition of inducers, incubation time and supplementation with different proportions of apple pomace ultrafiltration sludge (APS). The results indicated that under the best conditions with 3% (v/v) methanol, the optimal concentration of 11.34 g L?1 CA was recorded using BSL at pH 3.5 and temperature 30 °C after 120‐h incubation period. Supplementation of methanol resulted in an increase of 56% CA production. Meanwhile, under similar conditions, higher concentration of 18.34 g L?1 CA was reported with the supplementation of BSL with 40% (v/v) APS having suspended solids concentration of 30 g L?1. The present study demonstrated the potential of BSL supplemented with APS as an alternative cheap substrate for CA fermentation. 相似文献

In this study, aerocyclone separators, with five different vortex finder diameters are simulated using commercially available computational fluid dynamics code Fluent 6.3.26 to analyze flow field pattern and the collection efficiency. It is found that a decrease in vortex finder diameter results in an increase in pressure drop by 47.84% and an increase in the collection efficiency by 9.54%, whereas, the increase in vortex finder diameter leads to a reduction in pressure drop by 23.87% and a decrease in the collection efficiency by 7.70% as compared to the Stairmand high efficiency cyclone. It is also observed that a decrease in vortex finder diameter leads to about 33% increase in axial velocity and about 25% increase in tangential velocity, whereas, an increase in vortex finder diameter results in about 23% decrease in axial velocity and about 12% decrease in tangential velocity as compared to the Stairmand high efficiency cyclone. 相似文献

Copolymers of N‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (V) and glycidyl methacrylate (G) monomers of different compositions were prepared by free‐radical solution polymerization. The copolymer composition of these copolymers was determined with 1H‐NMR spectra. The reactivity ratios calculated from the Kelen–Tudos and nonlinear least‐square error‐in‐variable methods were rV = 0.03 ± 0.01 and rG = 5.05 ± 0.84 and rV = 0.02 and rG = 4.72, respectively. The triad sequence distribution in terms of V and G centered triads was determined from 13C{1H}‐NMR spectroscopy. The complete spectral assignment of 13C{1H}‐ and 1H‐NMR spectra was performed with the help of distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer and two‐dimensional 13C–1H heteronuclear single quantum coherence.
