A zero-voltage and zero-current switching three-level DC/DC converter   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
This paper presents a novel zero-voltage and zero-current switching (ZVZCS) three-level DC/DC converter. This converter overcomes the drawbacks presented by the conventional zero-voltage switching (ZVS) three-level converter, such as high circulating energy, severe parasitic ringing on the rectifier diodes, and limited ZVS load range for the inner switches. The converter presented in this paper uses a phase-shift control with a flying capacitor in the primary side to achieve ZVS for the outer switches. Additionally, the converter uses an auxiliary circuit to reset the primary current during the freewheeling stage to achieve zero-current switching (ZCS) for the inner switches. The principle of operation and the DC characteristics of the new converter are analyzed and verified on a 6 kW, 100 kHz experimental prototype.  相似文献

This paper proposes a generalized finite element method based on the use of parametric solutions as enrichment functions. These parametric solutions are precomputed off‐line and stored in memory in the form of a computational vademecum so that they can be used on‐line with negligible cost. This renders a more efficient computational method than traditional finite element methods at performing simulations of processes. One key issue of the proposed method is the efficient computation of the parametric enrichments. These are computed and efficiently stored in memory by employing proper generalized decompositions. Although the presented method can be broadly applied, it is particularly well suited in manufacturing processes involving localized physics that depend on many parameters, such as welding. After introducing the vademecum‐generalized finite element method formulation, we present some numerical examples related to the simulation of thermal models encountered in welding processes. Serum levels of prolactin (PRL), FSH, LH and oestradiol-17 beta were determined by radioimmunoassay in 57 lactating women and in 20 women in whom lactation was inhibited by ergocryptine (CS-154). Women who breast fed their infants exhibited high PRL levels which abruptly declined within 48 h post-partum, and remained low for the duration of the study. Serum FSH was undetectable during the first week post-partum in lactating as well as in CB-154 treated women. Thereafter, lactating women showed increasing FSH levels which reached a maximum by the third week post-partum. These FSH values were higher in lactating women than in the CBS-154 treated group. In contrast, LH levels were higher in those women receiving CB-154. Serum oestradiol-17 beta remained in low levels throughout the study, and no difference was observed between the two groups of subjects. From these results it seems that: 1) inhibition of PRL secretion leads to a faster recovery of gonadotrophin secretion toward the "menstrual type", and 2) PRL suppression produces no effect on the ovarian oestrogen production.  相似文献

The authors’ work on lobster fishery in Chile is summarized in this paper. The paper presents the formulation and algorithmic resolution of a two-stage stochastic nonlinear programming model with recourse. The proposed model considers a long-term planning horizon and specifically allows an optimal total allowable catch quota to be obtained for the first planning period. This model takes into account biomass dynamics, the conditions guaranteeing sustained species management and uncertain parameters such as growth rate and species carrying capacity. These parameters are explicitly incorporated via a discrete random variable (scenarios). The proposed model is solved by Lagrangian decomposition using the algebraic modeling software AMPL, in combination with the solver MINOS to solve the nonlinear models resulting from the scenario decomposition. The article also presents the results obtained with this methodology and the conclusions drawn from the work.  相似文献

This paper presents a game theoretic solution for joint channel allocation and power control in cognitive radio networks analyzed under the physical interference model. The objective is to find a distributed solution that maximizes the network utility, defined with different criteria, with limited information. The problem is addressed through a non-cooperative game based on local information. Although the existence of a pure Nash Equilibrium cannot be assured for this game, simulation results show that it exists with high probability and with a performance similar to that of a potential game, where each player requires overall network information. The obtained results are compared with a centralized heuristic genetic algorithm to show the correctness of the proposals. From this point, utility functions for the local game are modified to restrict the transmitted power to drive the solution to a more cooperative approach. To overcome the convergence limitations of the local game, no-regret learning algorithms are used to perform the joint channel and power allocation. These algorithms provide stable mixed strategies in any scenario with even better global performance. This opens an interesting perspective to develop realistic protocols based on the modeled interactions and increases the adaptability to perform efficient opportunistic spectrum access.  相似文献

This theoretical article explores the impact of ethnic appearance on the nurse-client encounter from the perspective of Chicanas, women of Mexican descent. The issues raised for Chicanas, however, are applicable for members of many other ethnic groups, individuals whose identity is often constructed from the stereotypes and myths their appearance evokes. Ethnic minority women often experience a feeling of double jeopardy, enduring the consequences of living in a society that devalues both women and members of specific racial or ethnic groups. Research from nursing, counseling psychology, and sociology provide the bases for an examination of the mental health consequences of this double jeopardy. Narrative interaction, the sharing of personal stories, is offered as a therapeutic form of communication. Through narrative interactions, nurses may begin to understand the context of women's lives and learn what is meaningful for them, from their perspective. It is from the women themselves that nurses will begin to learn new meanings for their appearance and gain some understanding of their world.  相似文献

A batch-indirect rotary drier heated with steam was experimentally operated to obtain data of moisture content and temperature versus time for soy meal and fish meal. Operation conditions were as follow: steam pressure (1 to 4 bar), rotation speed (3.7 to 11.6 r.p.m.) and rate of vapor extraction (0.059 to 0.256 m/s).

From experimental data the effective heat transfer coefficient between the hot surface and the bed of solids was determined. These data were correlated by means of dimensional analysis as a function of the drying process variables. The equation obtained for the effective Nusselt number predicts adequately the effective heat transfer coefficient, for both substrates, in the range of the operating variables studied.  相似文献

In this work we aim to design simple, distributed self-configuring solutions for the problem of route selection and channel and power allocation in multihop autonomous wireless systems using a game theoretic perspective. We propose and compare three games with different levels of complexity: a potential flow game where players need complete network knowledge, a local flow game requiring full information of the flow and a low complexity cooperative link game which works with partial information of the flow. All these games have been designed to always assure the convergence to a stable point in order to be implemented as distributed algorithms. To evaluate their quality, we also obtain the best achievable performance in the system using mathematical optimization. The system is modeled with the physical interference model and two different definitions of the network utility are considered: the number of active flows and the aggregated capacity in bps. Results show that the proposed games approach the centralized solution, and specially, that the simpler cooperative link game provides a performance close to that of the flow games.  相似文献

Restoration of motor and sensory functions in paralyzed patients requires the development of tools for simultaneous recording and stimulation of neural activity in the spinal cord. In addition to its complex neurophysiology, the spinal cord presents technical challenges stemming from its flexible fibrous structure and repeated elastic deformation during normal motion. To address these engineering constraints, we developed highly flexible fiber probes, consisting entirely of polymers, for combined optical stimulation and recording of neural activity. The fabricated fiber probes exhibit low‐loss light transmission even under repeated extreme bending deformations. Using our fiber probes, we demonstrate simultaneous recording and optogenetic stimulation of neural activity in the spinal cord of transgenic mice expressing the light sensitive protein channelrhodopsin 2 (ChR2). Furthermore, optical stimulation of the spinal cord with the polymer fiber probes induces on‐demand limb movements that correlate with electromyographical (EMG) activity.  相似文献

The first part of this paper introduces a novel three-level dc-dc converter topology. It is shown that a floating capacitor connected across the clamping diodes of a conventional three-level converter enables phase-shift control while retaining zero voltage switching. Design constraints and experimental results are shown for a 6-kW, 100-kHz dc-dc prototype. The second part of the paper discusses the same three-level topology operated as a single-stage front-end converter. In this application, the converter realizes power factor correction and dc output voltage regulation. To ensure low harmonic distortion, the input currents are operated in discontinuous conduction mode, and the performance, including soft switching, is also verified on a 3-kW, 50-kHz ac-dc converter.  相似文献
