With the rapid growth of the internet of things (IoT), an impressive number of IoT’s application based on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) has been deployed in various domain. Due to its wide ranged applications, WSNs that have the capability to monitor a given sensing field, became the most used platform of IoT. Therefore, coverage becomes one of the most important challenge of WSNs. The search for better positions to assign to the sensors in order to control each point of an area of interest and the collection of data from sensors are major concerns in WSNs. This work addresses these problems by providing a hybrid approach that ensures sensors deployment on a grid for targets coverage while taking into account connectivity. The proposed sequential hybrid approach is based on three algorithms. The first places the sensors so as to all targets are covered. The second removes redundancies from the placement algorithm to reduce the number of sensors deployed. The third one, based on the genetic algorithm, aims to generate a connected graph which provide a minimal path that links deployed sensors and sink. Simulations and a comparative study were carried out to prove the relevance of the proposed method.

The hyporheic zone of two small tributaries of the upper Rhǒne River where they cross the floodplain (approximately 2 km wide) was studied. The streams originate in karstic areas which directly border the floodplain. The surveys were conducted at 11 sites along the course of the two tributaries at a depth of 50 cm in bed sediments. Ten litre samples were collected six times a year with a Bou-Rouch sampler. The paper examines the distribution of interstitial communities along two transverse (floodplain) profiles, defines the spring ecotone, analyses the heterogeneity, and underlines the importance of the tributaries in the functioning of the floodplain. A comparison between the spatial distributions of fauna and organic matter content along the two profiles underlines the important relationships between the groundwater and surface environment, and makes it possible to differentiate parts of the floodplain where the exchanges are most intense (interstitial spring, karst/floodplain interface). Along the longitudinal course of these streams, we observe the influence of groundwater circulation on community structure/i.e. the interactions between stream channel, alluvial aquifer and adjacent karstic aquifer.  相似文献

Abstract

The development of cost-effective, sustainable, eco-friendly and efficient compounds is a renovated science and a demanding assignment for today’s chemists and technology specialists. In this context, the anticorrosion effect of a new Schiff base hydrazone, namely (E)-2-(4-(2-(methyl(pyridin-2-yl)amino)ethoxy)benzylidiene)hydrazine-1-carboxamide (MPAH) against the mild steel (MS) surface in 1.0?M HCl has been analyzed utilizing experimental methods, thermodynamic characterizations, and computational studies. MPAH has proven to be an effective inhibitor in 1.0?M HCl solution. Its inhibition performance improved by raising the concentration of the compound to an optimal concentration of 5?×?10?3 M, and 97% efficiency was achieved at 303?K. Inhibitor adsorption on the MS has been explicated with both physical and chemical interactions. The adsorption was in accordance with the isotherm of Langmuir. The impact of MPAH on the surface of MS had been confirmed utilizing SEM/EDX, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), gravimetric measurements (WL), and potentiodynamic polarization (PDP). The adsorption of the studied compound on the MS surface has also been investigated by DFT and the molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.  相似文献
