Citizens’ satisfaction is acknowledged as one of the most significant influences for e-government adoption and diffusion. This study examines the impact of information quality, system quality, trust, and cost on user satisfaction of e-government services. Using a survey, this study collected 1518 valid responses from e-government service adopters across the United Kingdom. Our empirical outcomes show the five factors identified in this study have a significant impact on U.K. citizens’ satisfaction with e-government services.  相似文献

A novel synthetic method to synthesize hydroxyapatite/poly (D,L) lactic acid biocomposite is presented in this study by mixing only the precursors hydroxyapatite and (D,L) LA monomer without adding neither solvent nor catalyst. Three compositions were successfully synthesized with the weight ratios of 1/1, 1/3, and 3/5 (hydroxyapatite/(D,L) lactic acid), and the grafting efficiency of poly (D,L) lactic acid on hydroxyapatite surface reaches up to 84?%. Scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed that the hydroxyapatite particles were successfully incorporated into the poly (D,L) lactic acid polymer and X ray diffraction analysis showed that hydroxyapatite preserved its crystallinity after poly (D,L) lactic acid grafting. Differential scanning calorimetry shows that Tg of hydroxyapatite/poly (D,L) lactic acid composite is less than Tg of pure poly (D,L) lactic acid, which facilitates the shaping of the composite obtained. The addition of poly (D,L) lactic acid improves the adsorption properties of hydroxyapatite for fibronectin extracellular matrix protein. Furthermore, the presence of poly (D,L) lactic acid on hydroxyapatite surface coated with fibronectin enhanced pre-osteoblast STRO-1 adhesion and cell spreading. These results show the promising potential of hydroxyapatite/poly (D,L) lactic acid composite as a bone substitute material for orthopedic applications and bone tissue engineering.  相似文献

The objective of the multi-dimensional knapsack problem (MKP) is to find a subset of items with maximum value that satisfies a number of knapsack constraints. Solution methods for MKP, both heuristic and exact, have been researched for several decades. This paper introduces several fast and effective heuristics for MKP that are based on solving the LP relaxation of the problem. Improving procedures are proposed to strengthen the results of these heuristics. Additionally, the heuristics are run with appropriate deterministic or randomly generated constraints imposed on the linear relaxation that allow generating a number of good solutions. All algorithms are tested experimentally on a widely used set of benchmark problem instances to show that they compare favourably with the best-performing heuristics available in the literature.  相似文献

The NP-hard problem of scheduling jobs on unrelated parallel machines, in the presence of machine-dependent and sequence-dependent setup times, with the objective of minimizing the makespan, is considered. A variable neighborhood descent search algorithm, hybridized with mathematical programming elements, is presented and its performance is evaluated on a large set of benchmark problem instances. The extensive computational experiments show that the proposed algorithm outperforms previously proposed methods in terms of solution quality as well as computation time.  相似文献

We consider a linear control system in which several signals are transmitted over communication channels with bit rate limitations. With the coding and medium access schemes of the communication system fixed, the achievable bit rates are determined by the allocation of communications resources such as transmit powers and bandwidths, to different communication channels. We model the effect of bit rate limited communication channels by uniform quantization and the quantization errors are modeled by additive white noises whose variances depend on the achievable bit rates. We optimize the stationary performance of the linear system by jointly allocating resources in the communication system and tuning parameters of the controller.  相似文献

Laser direct write techniques represent a prospective alternative for engineering a new generation of hybrid biomaterials via the creation of patterns consisting of biological proteins onto practically any type of substrate. In this paper we report on the characterization of fibronectin features obtained onto titanium substrates by UV nanosecond laser transfer. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy measurements evidenced no modification in the secondary structure of the post-transferred protein. The molecular weight of the transferred protein was identical to the initial fibronectin, no fragment bands being found in the transferred protein’s Western blot migration profile. The presence of the cell-binding domain sequence and the mannose groups within the transferred molecules was revealed by anti-fibronectin monoclonal antibody immunolabelling and FITC-Concanavalin-A staining, respectively. The in vitro tests performed with MC3T3-E1 osteoblast-like cells and Swiss-3T3 fibroblasts showed that the cells’ morphology and spreading were strongly influenced by the presence of the fibronectin spots.  相似文献

This paper presents a comparison between the live load distribution factors of simple span slab-on-girders concrete bridges based on the current AASHTO-LRFD and finite-element analysis. In this comparison, the range of applicability limits specified by the current AASHTO-LRFD is fully covered and investigated in terms of span length, slab thickness, girder spacing and longitudinal stiffness. All the AASHTO-PCI concrete girders (Types I–VI) are considered to cover the complete range of longitudinal stiffness specified in the AASHTO-LRFD. Several finite-elements linear elastic models were investigated to obtain the most accurate method to represent the bridge superstructure. The bridge deck was modeled as four-node quadrilateral shell elements, whereas the girders were modeled using two-node space frame elements. The live load used in the analysis is the vehicular load plus the standard lane load as specified by AASHTO-LRFD. The live load is positioned at the longitudinal location that produced the extreme effect, and then it is moved transversely across the bridge width in order to investigate all possibilities of one-lane, two-lane and three-lane design loads. A total of 886 bridge superstructure models were built and analyzed using the computer program SAP2000 to perform this comparison. The results of this study are presented in terms of figures to be practically useful to bridge engineers. This study showed that the AASHTO-LRFD may significantly overestimate the live load distribution factors compared to the finite-element analysis.  相似文献

The problem of multi-item, single-level, dynamic lotsizing in the presence of a single capacitated resource is addressed. A model based on variable redefinition is developed leading to a solution strategy based on a branch-and-bound search with sharp low bounds. The multi-item low bound problems are solved by column generation with the capacity constraints as the linking constraints. The resulting subproblems separate into as many single-item, uncapacitated lotsizing problems as there are items. These subproblems are solved as shortest-path problems. Good upper bounds are also generated by solving an appropriate minimum-cost network flow problem at each node of the branch-and-bound tree. The resulting solution scheme is very efficient in terms of computation time. Its efficiency is demonstrated by computational testing on a ste of benchmark problem instances and is attributable to the sharpness of the lower bounds, the efficiency with which the low bound problems are solved and the frequent generation of good upper bounds; all of which leading to a high exclusion rate.  相似文献
