Chuck muscles and fat from silage plus grain- and forage-fed steers were stored 7 days at 4°C before patty manufacture or processed into patties and stored at 4°C or ?32°C. The thiobarbituric acid values were constant from 0 to 4 days for frozen patties but decreased (P<0.05) for refrigerated patties. Evaluated by an 11-member trained sensory panel, frozen patties had lower (P<0.05) rancid flavor intensity than refrigerated patties; rancid flavor increased from 0 to 2 or 4 days storage in refrigerated patties. Frozen patties from silage plus grain-fed steers had higher (P<0.05) beefy flavor intensity scores than those from forage beef. However, diet source had no effect (P>0.05) on refrigerated patties.  相似文献

This paper presents a force-based finite element method that involves eigen-space transformation of element stiffness matrices in the first analysis. In each subsequent analysis (‘reanalysis’) associated with structural variations, the solution obtained previously is modified making use of intrinsic properties of eigen solutions and avoiding the time-consuming task of solving a large system of equations. The structural variations may involve changes in material properties, birth or death of elements, or change in boundary conditions. Numerical examples are presented to compare the accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed method with the displacement-based finite element method. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Apartments account for over 60% of total residential buildings and consume a significant portion of primary energy in South Korea. Various energy efficiency measures have been implemented for both new apartment constructions and existing apartment retrofits. Old apartment structures have poor thermal performances, resulting in a high energy consumption. The South Korean government initiated retrofitting projects to improve the energy efficiency in old apartments. Apartment owners typically replace old windows with high-performance windows; however, there is still a demand for better and more innovative retrofit methods for a highly improved energy efficiency. This paper proposes an advanced double-skin façade (DSF) system to replace existing balcony windows in old apartments. Considering the cold climate conditions of Seoul, South Korea, it mainly discusses heating energy savings. Three case models were developed: Base-Case with existing apartment, Case-1 with typical retrofitting, and Case-2 with the proposed DSF system. The EnergyPlus simulation program was used to develop simulation models for a floor radiant heating system. A typical gas boiler was selected for low-temperature radiant system modeling. The air flow network method was used to model the proposed DSF system. Five heating months, i.e., November to March, and one representative day, i.e., January 24, were selected for detailed analysis. The main heat loss areas consist of windows, walls, and infiltration. The results reveal that the apartment with the DSF retrofit saves 38.8% on the annual heating energy compared to the Base-Case and 35.2% compared to Case-1.  相似文献

提出一种模拟电工钢片复杂磁特性的矢量磁滞模型。该模型考虑频率、磁化历史等因素对磁滞特性的影响,模型中磁滞系数与磁阻系数的确定是基于双激励二维磁特性测量实验获得的,在实验中通过对磁通密度变化轨迹的控制实现对磁场强度波形的测量。所提出的模型既避免了传统磁滞模型数学表达的复杂性,又提高了模拟的准确度,更适用于工程应用。通过与传统模型及实验测量结果的比较,证明了所提出的模型能更有效、更准确地模拟电工钢片的复杂磁特性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We have studied the formation and characterization of Li2CO3 doped 0.7(Ba,Sr)TiO3-0.3MgO ceramics for the low temperature sintering and microwave applications. In this study 1 ~ 5 wt% of Li2CO3 was added to the 0.7(Ba,Sr)TiO3-0.3MgO ceramic materials to reduce the sintering temperature. The MgO contents, which added in this experiment, play a role of improving dielectric permittivity such as low frequency dispersion and low loss tangent.

In this paper, we will discuss the crystalline properties, dielectric properties, and the microstructures of Li2CO3 doped 0.7(Ba,Sr)TiO3- 0.3MgO ceramics. No pyro phase was observed in the X-ray diffraction method. Very weak frequency dispersion of dielectric permittivity was observed from the 1 kHz to 1 MHz range. Different grain sizes of Li2CO3 doped 0.7(Ba0.5Sr0.5)TiO3-0.3MgO ceramics were observed through the SEM methods.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Expected lifetime and reliability of multiplayer ceramic actuators were considered. 5 × 5 × 5 mm3 sized multilayer ceramic actuators with 60 ceramic sheet layers embedded internal electrodes were selected in this experimental analysis. Specially selected rectified AC bias was applied to the multilayer ceramic actuators to remove heating during charging and discharging process. 16 sets of multilayer ceramic actuators were tested for statistical analysis. Weibull function method was employed to calculate mean time to failure. Arrhenius model and power law model were considered to simulate experimental data. From the experimental data and theoretical consideration, equation of expected lifetime was estimated.  相似文献
