Modern software systems are composed of several services which may be developed and maintained by third parties and thus they can change independently and without notice during the system’s runtime execution. In such systems, changes may possibly be a threat to system functional correctness, and thus to its reliability. Hence, it is important to detect them as soon as they happen to enable proper reaction. Change detection can be done by monitoring system execution and comparing the observed execution traces against models of the services composing the application. Unfortunately, formal specifications for services are not usually provided and developers have to infer them. In this paper we propose a methodology which exactly addresses these issues by using software behavior models to monitor component execution and detect changes. In particular, we describe a technique to infer behavior model specifications with a dynamic black box approach, keep them up-to-date with run time observations and detect behavior changes. Finally, we present a case study to validate the effectiveness of the approach in component change detection for a component that implements a complex, real communication protocol.  相似文献

Electrochemical reduction of CO2 is a novel research field towards a CO2-neutral global economy and combating fast accelerating and disastrous climate changes while finding new solutions to store renewable energy in value-added chemicals and fuels. Ionic liquids (ILs), as medium and catalysts (or supporting part of catalysts) have been given wide attention in the electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) due to their unique advantages in lowering overpotential and improving the product selectivity, as well as their designable and tunable properties. In this review, we have summarized the recent progress of CO2 electro-reduction in IL-based electrolytes to produce higher-value chemicals. We then have highlighted the unique enhancing effect of ILs on CO2RR as templates, precursors, and surface functional moieties of electrocatalytic materials. Finally, computational chemistry tools utilized to understand how the ILs facilitate the CO2RR or to propose the reaction mechanisms, generated intermediates and products have been discussed.  相似文献

The economical estimation of B-ISDN development in metropolitan areas, with particular reference to the application of the asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) techniques is addressed. The results achieved by applying models and methods developed in the framework of RACE 1044-EPF Case Study E (Evolution Prospects for Metropolitan Public Networks) to an urban area of 2 million inhabitants. Equipment volumes are estimated as a function of different demand scenarios, equipment evolution, and network performances. Economical figures that verify the cost-effectiveness of alternative developments and the viability of alternative introduction policies of B-ISDN are derived. The economical impact of fulfilling service integrity requirements of specific demand segments is evaluated. Usable planning guidelines and evolutionary strategies as regards network architecture, system introduction, and growth policies are defined  相似文献

Macrophages are found throughout the male reproductive tract and its accessory glands. Mice homozygous for a null mutation (csfm(op)) in the gene for the mononuclear phagocytic growth factor colony-stimulating factor-1 (CSF-1) have a significantly lower density of macrophages, defined by the mononuclear phagocytic antigen F4/80, in the testis, cauda and caput epididymis, prostate, seminal vesicles, and vas deferens. These data indicate that CSF-1 is the major growth factor regulating the occurrence of macrophages in male reproductive tissues. The residual macrophages were correctly located in the tissue except in the caput epididymis, where they failed to take up positions adjacent to the tubular epithelium. Restoration of circulating CSF-1 concentrations in csfm(op)/csfm(op) males totally restored F4/80+ cell density in the testis and caput and cauda epididymis and partially restored their density in the vas deferens and seminal vesicles but failed to affect density in the prostate. This failure to correct all populations with circulating CSF-1 suggests the requirement for local synthesis of CSF-1 at appropriate developmental stages and/or its expression in a cell surface-associated form. The absence of macrophages in the testis and epididymis of csfm(op)/csfm(op) mice correlates with dysfunction in these tissues, suggesting that macrophages play important nonimmunological roles in these tissues.  相似文献

Herein we describe a combined experimental and in silico study of the interaction of a series of pyrazolo[1,2-a]benzo[1,2,3,4]tetrazin-3-one derivatives (PBTs) with parallel G-quadruplex (GQ) DNA aimed at correlating their previously reported anticancer activities and the stabilizing effects observed by us on c-myc oncogene promoter GQ structure. Circular dichroism (CD) melting experiments were performed to characterize the effect of the studied PBTs on the GQ thermal stability. CD measurements indicate that two out of the eight compounds under investigation induced a slight stabilizing effect (2–4 °C) on GQ depending on the nature and position of the substituents. Molecular docking results allowed us to verify the modes of interaction of the ligands with the GQ and estimate the binding affinities. The highest binding affinity was observed for ligands with the experimental melting temperatures (Tms). However, both stabilizing and destabilizing ligands showed similar scores, whilst Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations, performed across a wide range of temperatures on the GQ in water solution, either unliganded or complexed with two model PBT ligands with the opposite effect on the Tms, consistently confirmed their stabilizing or destabilizing ability ascertained by CD. Clues about a relation between the reported anticancer activity of some PBTs and their ability to stabilize the GQ structure of c-myc emerged from our study. Furthermore, Molecular Dynamics simulations at high temperatures are herein proposed for the first time as a means to verify the stabilizing or destabilizing effect of ligands on the GQ, also disclosing predictive potential in GQ-targeting drug discovery.  相似文献

A novel technique is proposed for measuring instantaneous power and energy losses in static switching devices during the different operating intervals (turn-on delay, rise time, on-state, turn-off delay, full time, and off-state) of a switching cycle. To this end, a system for measuring voltages and currents is used, based on sampling at 200 Ms/s for data acquisition. The data are then transferred to a personal computer (PC), where they are conditioned and processed to obtain the instantaneous values and the average values of power losses for any desired duty cycle or single impulse. It is concluded that the high-speed digital acquisitions of voltage and current data along with the possibility of automatically processing on a PC allows the calculation of the losses during the fast switching transients with a greater degree of accuracy and detail than that afforded by classical techniques  相似文献

The accumulation of aggregated α-synuclein (αSyn) is a hallmark of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Current evidence indicates that small soluble αSyn oligomers (αSynOs) are the most toxic species among the forms of αSyn aggregates, and that size and topological structural properties are crucial factors for αSynOs-mediated toxicity, involving the interaction with either neurons or glial cells. We previously characterized a human αSynO (H-αSynO) with specific structural properties promoting toxicity against neuronal membranes. Here, we tested the neurotoxic potential of these H-αSynOs in vivo, in relation to the neuropathological and symptomatic features of PD. The H-αSynOs were unilaterally infused into the rat substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc). Phosphorylated αSyn (p129-αSyn), reactive microglia, and cytokine levels were measured at progressive time points. Additionally, a phagocytosis assay in vitro was performed after microglia pre-exposure to αsynOs. Dopaminergic loss, motor, and cognitive performances were assessed. H-αSynOs triggered p129-αSyn deposition in SNpc neurons and microglia and spread to the striatum. Early and persistent neuroinflammatory responses were induced in the SNpc. In vitro, H-αSynOs inhibited the phagocytic function of microglia. H-αsynOs-infused rats displayed early mitochondrial loss and abnormalities in SNpc neurons, followed by a gradual nigrostriatal dopaminergic loss, associated with motor and cognitive impairment. The intracerebral inoculation of structurally characterized H-αSynOs provides a model of progressive PD neuropathology in rats, which will be helpful for testing neuroprotective therapies.  相似文献

An operationally simple, and cost efficient conversion of carboxylic acids into hydroxamic acid derivatives via a high‐energy mechanochemical activation is presented. This ball milling methodology was applied to a wide variety of carboxylic acids dramatically improving purification issues associated with this class of molecules, which still remain one of the main bottlenecks of classical methodologies.

We aimed to ascertain whether pyrethroid insecticides could influence the vesicular transport of the excitatory amino acid glutamate. The incubation of rat cortical synaptic vesicles with resmethrin and permethrin, consistently stimulated both ATP-dependent and -independent uptake of [3H]glutamate, while not evoking depletion of its vesicular content. Both processes were counteracted by valinomycin, a dissipator of the transmembrane potential gradient (deltapsi(sv)). Meanwhile, the vesicular influx of 36Cl- anions was impaired by pyrethroid concentrations which did not affect the ATP-dependent uptake of [14C]methylamine, as a marker for the proton gradient (deltapH). Thus, the stimulation of glutamate transport appeared to involve mainly the deltapsi(sv). A self-attenuating effect of selected pyrethroids on putatively enhanced excitatory transmission in severe intoxication is suggested.  相似文献

The flexibility offered by the ATM transport mechanism and its potential capabilities, together with its compatibility with the B‐ISDN, makes ATM the prime candidate for the support of multimedia services over the wireless medium. However, technical issues remain to be resolved in relation to the feasibility of ATM for the support of mobility over the radio interface. This paper examines network issues in supporting handover in a wireless ATM network. In particular, analysis has been performed for a virtual tree-based network architecture. Results have shown that by using multicast transmission and by using a distributed numbering algorithm, the potential problems of cell-loss and cell-duplication have been eliminated.
