Stability of any power system is a major issue for secure operation of the system. The stability of power system is concerned with the behavior of synchronous generators following disturbances. Transmission system in competitive market refers to over loading of transmission lines or transformers due to market settlement. Thus there is a need of enhancing transmission capability of the network. FACTS controllers have the capability of controlling power flow by means of controlling line parameters, voltage injection at some of the angle. In the proposed work optimal location for installation of FACTS device is obtained using NN and the amount of voltage and angle to be injected in the system using UPFC is calculated using Bees algorithm. The method is tested on IEEE 26 bus system but it is general in nature and can be applied to any power system. The results exhibit the performance of the method in maintaining the system stability and АТС enhancement.  相似文献

Nowadays, underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN) is an important field for researchers due to its well know applications like seismic monitoring, disaster prevention, offshore exploration, pollution monitoring, oceanography data collection, equipment monitoring, assisted navigation, and tactical surveillance. Many research challenges are available for UWSN; the design of routing protocol is one of them. The majority of the researchers have designed the routing algorithms but still, the data forwarding mechanism needs improvement. The reliable communication between the source and sink nodes is really a complicated task due to the limitation of the acoustic channel, water pressure, and limited bandwidth. This review paper focuses on the problems of those routing protocols which are based on data forwarding. In this review paper, we further present the route development, data forwarding, and route maintenance of the proposed routing protocols. The key aspects of this review article present the limitations and advantages of data forwarding routing protocols. We also present analysis of data forwarding routing protocols with analytical and numerical simulation methods with their critical analysis. This review article helps the researchers to create further research in the field of routing protocols based on data forwarding.  相似文献

Coastal water issues are gaining worldwide attention because of their impact on health and other environmental problems. This article is concerned with the comparison between artificial neural networks and statistical methods to predict the degree of acidity (pH) in the coastal waters along the Gaza beach. Multilayer perceptron (MLP) and radial basis function (RBF) neural networks are trained and developed with reference to three parameters (water temperature, wind velocity, and turbidity) to predict the level of pH in the seawater. Both networks were developed using the combination of the data collected from nine sites over a period of 4 years, including 294 samples for training and 90 samples for testing the performance of models. The results show that the MLP and RBF models have good ability to predict the pH level. Each network's performance was tested with different sets of data, and the results show satisfactory performance. Results of the developed networks were compared with the statistical regression method and found that the predictions of neural networks are better than the conventional methods. Predictions result show that artificial neural networks approach have good ability for the modeling of pH level in the coastal waters along Gaza beach. It is hoped that neural networks will prove to be a promising alternative to traditional methods used and can contribute in the improvement of the quality of seawater.  相似文献

Security is one of the critical aspects of current systems, which are based on loosely coupled and technology-agnostic service-oriented architectures (SOA). Though SOA is the driving force for enterprises to open their ends for global business collaborations, nevertheless it evolves many challenges for modeling and enforcing security. One of the main problems for designing secure systems is the lack of consistent frameworks and methodologies for modeling security concerns. Traditional approaches consider security at the end of system development, which evolves inflexible and un-configurable systems, which are too difficult to maintain and manage. The other major problem with current approaches is that they assume pre-defined and hard-coded security patterns and mechanisms for secure system design. Whereas, the evolving SOA systems require configurable security to realize different security patterns and security policies in a variety of business scenarios. To solve these problems, it is necessary to model security concerns from the beginning of system modeling in a platform-independent way. This paper proposes a pattern refinement approach for security modeling to achieve configurable and declarative security, based on the principles of abstraction, refinement, separation-of-concerns and maintainability to achieve flexible configurations of SOA security. In the proposed approach, a Domain Expert defines abstract policies using common security vocabulary and a Security Expert models security with patterns and refines them for a target architecture in successive systematic refinements. Furthermore, it facilitates the transformation of abstract security models into executable security policies for the target platforms.  相似文献

Routing in undersea environment is one of the challenging research areas due to the nature of acoustic channel and underwater harsh environment. In underwater environment, the major challenges are propagation delay, high bit error rates, limited bandwidth, uncontrolled node mobility, water current, 3D deployment and limited resources. Hence, designing an efficient and communication protocols for underwater environment is a challenging issue. To control the node mobility and prolong the battery power of the nodes, we proposed Clustered-Based Energy Efficient Routing (CBE2R) protocol. CBE2R controls the node mobility and prolongs the battery power of nodes by dividing the water depth into seven numbers of layers from top to seabed. CBE2R prolongs the battery power through powerful static courier nodes which are deployed from sea surface to seabed on different layers. Clustered-based routing mechanism with highest weighted value for data forwarding is based on seabed to bottom layer courier nodes through ordinary nodes. Bottom layer courier nodes collects the information from ordinary nodes and forwards to surface sink nodes by maximum power levels (p1, p2, …., pn-1) through courier nodes which are deployed in different layers. For performance analysis the NS2.30 with AquaSim is used. The simulation results of CBE2R are compared with energy efficient REEP, EMGGR, and DRP. From simulation results it is observed that the performance CBE2R is higher than REEP, EMGGR and DRP.  相似文献

Inhibition effects of novel organotin(IV) esters of (E)-4-oxo-4-((3-trifluoromethyl)phenyl)amino)but-2-enoic acid have been studied against bacterial, fungal, tumoral and insecticidal strains. The complexes have shown potency against all these strains and is attributed to the multiple interactive sites of the ligand that not only change the environment around tin but also can make interactions with DNA. The synthesized complexes were characterized by physical, spectral, analytical and multinuclear nmr (1H, 13C, 119Sn) data. The X-ray structure analysis of the complex is reported.  相似文献
