Metallurgical Treatment of Metals by the Formation of Linear Melting Zones The process of electron beam welding has already been set up in many fields of production. In addition it is possible to use the electron beam for thermal treatment of workpieces. This treatment is carried out to form a very quick solidified structure with a specific quality (hard, fine-grained). Another purpose is the realization of a definite alloy in a small area of the workpiece. Filler material (welding wire with 0,5–0,8 mm diameter) is conveyed to the weld and molten off by the electron beam. Urinary oxalate excretion was measured in healthy persons and patients with Crohn's disease, colitis ulcerosa, sprue and other diseases accompanied with malabsorption, and patients with insufficiency of the exocrine pancreas gland. Further measurements were made in patients after resection of parts of the small intestine or the colon. We found a clear increase of urinary oxalate excretion in patients with resected parts of the small intestine, sprue or other malabsorption syndromes. In 4 patients with resected parts of small intestine or pancreas we even found urolithiasis. Urinary oxalate excretion correlated significantly with steatorrhoea and increased if larger parts of small intestine were resected. Increased resorption of oxalate from food causes increased urinary excretion. Details about the patho-mechanism of this increased excretion are not known yet; an important factor seems to be the reduced absorption of fat in the small intestine. 相似文献

It has been found that stabilization of austenite by hydrogen is governed not by its amount but by the manner of its introduction into the austenite just prior to transformation into martensite. In this case stabilization is to be understood as a decreasing tendency to transformation into martensite. Mechanical Interactions at Material Transitions in Composite Bodies out of Dissimilar Materials. Part II: Basic Principles for the Calculation of Stress and Strain States . The different types of interfaces are defined with the help of the concepts of geometry and the material transitions occuring in them. Among other things, a possibility for exact quantitative definitions of continuous and discontinuous material transitions at the interface of bonded materials is given. The well-known error function, as well as the static and kinematic interface conditions, are made use of. These enable the establishment of quantitative expressions for the stress and strain states in composite bodies. The difference between the continuous and discontinuous type of material transition give rise to highly differing equations. The cylindrical composite bodies are at first considered. The special treatment of the composite bodies out of sheet and plate materials are discussed in a separate chapter. The “sufficient” interface conditions for the discontinuous material transitions in cylindrical, sheet and plate-composite bodies are further derived. 相似文献
