A simple ultrasonic assisted chemical technique was used to synthesise cadmium oxide (CdO) nanoparticles (NPs) and CdO NPs/c‐Multiwalled carbon nanotube (c‐MWCNT) nanocomposite fibres. To confirm the physio‐chemico properties and to analyse surface morphology of the obtained nanomaterials X‐Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were performed. To evaluate the anti‐cancer property of CdO NPs, c‐MWCNT NPs and CdO NPs/c‐MWCNT nanocomposite fibres, an anti‐proliferative assay test (Methylthiazolyl diphenyl‐ tetrazolium bromide ‐ MTT assay) were performed on HeLa cells which further estimated IC50 value (Least concentration of sample in which nearly 50% of cells remain alive) under in‐vitro conditions. On comparison, CdONPs/c‐MWCNT based system was found to be superior by achieving 52.3% cell viability with its minimal IC50 value of 31.2 μg/ml. Lastly, the CdO NPs based system was taken up for an apoptotic study using DNA fragmentation assay for estimating its ability to cleave the DNA of the HeLa cells into internucleosomal fragments using the agarose gel electrophoresis method. In conclusion, based on our observations, CdO NPs/c‐MWCNT hybrid based system can be further used for the development of efficient drug delivery and therapeutic systems.Inspec keywords: drug delivery systems, electrophoresis, oxidation, toxicology, DNA, nanoparticles, drugs, field emission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, nanofabrication, surface morphology, cancer, X‐ray diffraction, nanomedicine, cellular biophysics, filled polymers, biomedical materials, molecular biophysics, biochemistry, Fourier transform infrared spectra, multi‐wall carbon nanotubesOther keywords: c‐MWCNT nanoparticles, apoptotic study, HeLa cancer cell line, cadmium oxide nanoparticles, c‐MWCNT NPs, anti‐proliferative assay test [methyl thiazolyl diphenyl‐tetrazolium bromide assay], human epithelioid cervix carcinoma cells, live cells, CdO NP‐based system, IC50 concentration, HeLa cell line, cell deaths, CdO‐C  相似文献

Compressed sensing is based on the principle that, through optimization, the sparsity of a signal can be exploited to recover it from fewer samples than required by the criterion. In compressed sensing, data is compressed and converted into fewer measurements and transmitted through wireless channel which is reconstructed at the receiver. Since very few samples are used for reconstruction, there are possibilities of degradation in quality of reconstruction. Unlike traditional methods, enhancement can now be done using the recent technique of compressed sensing by embedding image enhancement techniques like edge detection, histogram, filtering and their combinations with CS recovery procedure. This work proposes such a method by binding the image enhancement techniques along with the compressed sensing process. Filter of Gaussian filter (FGF), a combinational filter proposed in this study enables an increase in PSNR of 1 dB when compared to other filtering techniques besides using least number of measurements and maintaining minimum time consumption. The runtime difference with and without the FGF is ~?3 s, which is affordable even in hardware with minimum specifications. Real time experimentation of embedded enhancement CS was carried out in WINGZ board to prove the feasibility of enhanced recovery process with lower end hardware.  相似文献

Renewable energy sources from the earth constitute another option apart from the available ones for wellspring of energy for economizing on cost of power supply. The energy obtained from ambient sources is called energy harvesting. Energy‐harvesting low‐power systems have acquired a remarkable consideration as a viable hotspot for expanding both energy efficiency and spectral efficiency. Radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting from ambient source is a promising technique for fulfilling the irreplaceable power prerequisites for powering the low‐power devices. Hence, it requires the development of an antenna for harvesting RF energy. In this paper, a coplanar waveguide (CPW) antenna has been designed and fabricated using FR4 lossy substrate. This CPW antenna covers frequency bands from the most important RF patrons (GSM 900, GSM 1800, 3G, and Wi‐Fi) within the frequency range from (0.58 to 3 GHz) with a percentage fractional bandwidth of 116% with the center frequency of 1.65 GHz. The fabricated antenna then has been experimentally validated at SSN College of Engineering campus. The effects on the RF power density level for CPW antenna are examined by statistical approach known as Taguchi method. The L9 and L8 orthogonal arrays and analysis of variance are implemented to analyze the execution qualities. The CPW antenna control factors are distance, time, and number of receivers. Then, statistical test (P) are used to determine the significant factors on RF power density.  相似文献

Security in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is an upcoming research field which is quite different from traditional network security mechanisms. Many applications are dependent on the secure operation of a WSN, and have serious effects if the network is disrupted. Therefore, it is necessary to protect communication between sensor nodes. Key management plays an essential role in achieving security in WSNs. To achieve security, various key predistribution schemes have been proposed in the literature. A secure key management technique in WSN is a real challenging task. In this paper, a novel approach to the above problem by making use of elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is presented. In the proposed scheme, a seed key, which is a distinct point in an elliptic curve, is assigned to each sensor node prior to its deployment. The private key ring for each sensor node is generated using the point doubling mathematical operation over the seed key. When two nodes share a common private key, then a link is established between these two nodes. By suitably choosing the value of the prime field and key ring size, the probability of two nodes sharing the same private key could be increased. The performance is evaluated in terms of connectivity and resilience against node capture. The results show that the performance is better for the proposed scheme with ECC compared to the other basic schemes.  相似文献
