This paper proposes a new approach for stabilizing a homogeneous solution in reaction–convection–diffusion system with oscillatory kinetics, in which moving or stationary patterns emerge in the absence of control. Specifically, we aim to suppress patterns by using a spatially weighted finite-dimensional feedback control that assures stability of the solution according to Lyapunov's direct method. A practical design procedure, based on spectral representation of the system and dissipative nature of parabolic PDEs, is presented.  相似文献

The molecular dynamics method is used to study the formation of Ge nanoislands on pit-patterned Si(100) substrates. For substrates with overlapping pits and pits in the shape of truncated inverted pyramids, the energy surface is calculated. On the basis of its analysis, the mechanism of nuclear surface diffusion on the pit-patterned surface is described. The specific energy of Ge/Si heterostructures with different morphology of nanoislands in pits is calculated. It is shown that the configuration with multiple nanoislands in a pit can be thermodynamically favorable.  相似文献

A problem of a modal P-regulator synthesis for a linear multivariable dynamical system with uncertain (interval) parameters in state space is considered. The designed regulator has to place all coefficients of the system characteristic polynomial within assigned intervals. We have developed the approach proposed earlier in Dugarova and Smagina (Avtomat. i Telemech. 11 (1990) 176) and proved a direct correlation between interval system controllability and existence of robust modal P-regulator.  相似文献

The stabilization of planar stationary fronts solutions in a two-dimensional rectangular or cylinder domain, in which a diffusion–convection–reaction process occurs, is studied by reducing the original two-variable PDEs model to an approximate one-dimensional model that describes the behavior of the front line. We consider the control strategy based on sensors placed at the designed front line position and actuators that are spatially-uniform or space dependent. We present a systematic control design that determines the number of required sensors and actuators, their position and their form. The control used linear analysis of a lumped truncated model and concepts of finite and infinite zeros of linear multidimensional systems.  相似文献
