New biomarkers are needed to further stratify the risk of malignancy in intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN). Although microRNAs (miRNAs) are expected to be stable biomarkers, they can vary owing to a lack of definite internal controls. To identify universal biomarkers for invasive IPMN, we performed miRNA sequencing using tumor-normal paired samples. A total of 19 resected tissues and 13 pancreatic juice samples from 32 IPMN patients were analyzed for miRNA expression by next-generation sequencing with a two-step normalization of miRNA sequence data. The miRNAs involved in IPMN associated with invasive carcinoma were identified from this tissue analysis and further verified with the pancreatic juice samples. From the tumor-normal paired tissue analysis of the expression levels of 2792 miRNAs, 20 upregulated and 17 downregulated miRNAs were identified. In IPMN associated with invasive carcinoma (INV), miR-10a-5p and miR-221-3p were upregulated and miR-148a-3p was downregulated when compared with noninvasive IPMN. When these findings were further validated with pancreatic juice samples, miR-10a-5p was found to be elevated in INV (p = 0.002). Therefore, three differentially expressed miRNAs were identified in tissues with INV, and the expression of miR-10a-5p was also elevated in pancreatic juice samples with INV. MiR-10a-5p is a promising additional biomarker for invasive IPMN. 相似文献

A synthesized chromium‐based metal organic framework (Cr‐MOF) was used for the adsorption of halogenated anesthetics, i.e., sevoflurane (SF). Adsorption isotherm and breakthrough experiments involving SF (reference sorbate) and water vapor were measured at 298 K and atmospheric pressure on both Cr‐MOF and a commercially used reference adsorbent. The Cr‐MOF MIL‐101 showed a significantly higher SF adsorption capacity and much higher selectivity relative to water vapor compared to the reference adsorbent. Binary‐mixture breakthrough tests demonstrated a “roll‐up effect” for SF on the reference adsorbent while no such effect was observed on MIL‐101. 相似文献

In this work, a resolved CFD–DEM coupling model for the simulation of gas-liquid-solid flows is developed: the interface capturing method based on the colour function is employed for fluids (i.e. a gas and liquid) whilst Discrete Element Method (DEM) is used for particles. The Volume Penalisation (VP) method is adopted to consider the hydrodynamic interactions between fluids and particles along with the Immersed Free Surface (IFS) method, which artificially extends the gas-liquid interface into the interior of the particle to account for the wettability. The unique point of the proposed model is that the thickness of the gas-liquid interface can be controlled by using both interface compression and diffuse interface techniques simultaneously. From the simulation results, it is presented that the accurate evaluation of the surface tension force as well as the capillary force can be achieved by appropriately controlling the interface thickness. Moreover, the major two methods in the literature to calculate the capillary force are compared in this work. The validity of the proposed model is presented for both static and dynamic cases. The behaviour of two colliding particles with a dynamic liquid bridge is then simulated to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model to a complex three-phase system. 相似文献

The hitherto unprecedented palladium‐catalyzed cross‐coupling of (Z)‐β‐bromo‐β‐arylethenylboranes can be made to proceed satisfactorily through (1) the use of highly catalytically active bis(tri‐tert‐butylphosphine)palladium or dichloro[N,N‐bis‐(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐yl](m‐chloropyridine)palladium and (2) conversion of the dibromoboryl group to the (pinacol)boryl group. Thus, a wide variety of carbon groups can be used to substitute bromine in ≥98% stereo‐ and regioselectivity, while suppressing the otherwise dominant β‐debromoboration. Together with the alkylethyne‐based protocols, the alkyne bromoboration–Negishi coupling tandem process has emerged as the most widely applicable and highly selective route to trisubstituted alkenes including those that are otherwise difficult to access. 相似文献

In this paper, a modeling approach combining in vivo intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging, computational modeling, angiography, and mechanical testing is proposed to perform mechanical analysis for human coronary atherosclerotic plaques for potential more accurate plaque vulnerability assessment. A 44-slice in vivo IVUS dataset of a coronary plaque was acquired from one patient, and four 3-D models with fluid-structure interactions (FSIs) based on the data were constructed to quantify effects of anisotropic vessel properties and cyclic bending of the coronary plaque on flow and plaque stress/strain conditions. Compared to the isotropic model (model 1, no bending, no axial stretch), maximum stress-P1 (maximum principal stress) values on the cut surface with maximum bending (where applicable) from model 2 (anisotropic, no bending, no stretch), model 3 (anisotropic, with bending, no stretch), and model 4 (anisotropic with bending and stretch) were, respectively, 63%, 126%, and 345% higher than that from model 1. Effects of cyclic bending on flow behaviors were modest (5%-15%). Our preliminary results indicated that in vivo IVUS-based FSI models with cyclic bending and anisotropic material properties could improve the accuracies of plaque stress/strain predictions and plaque vulnerability assessment. Large-scale patient studies are needed to further validate our findings. 相似文献

Walnut anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is a deleterious disease that severely affects the production of walnut (Juglans regia L.). The aim of this study was to assess the antifungal and growth promotion activities of Bacillus velezensis CE 100 as an alternative to chemical use in walnut production. The crude enzyme from B. velezensis CE 100 exhibited chitinase, protease, and β-l,3-glucanase activity and degraded the cell wall of C. gloeosporioides, causing the inhibition of spore germination and mycelial growth by 99.3% and 33.6% at 100 µL/mL, respectively. The field application of B. velezensis CE 100 culture broth resulted in a 1.3-fold and 6.9-fold decrease in anthracnose disease severity compared to the conventional and control groups, respectively. Moreover, B. velezensis CE 100 produced indole-3-acetic acid (up to 1.4 µg/mL) and exhibited the potential for ammonium production and phosphate solubilization to enhance the availability of essential nutrients. Thus, field inoculation of B. velezensis CE 100 improved walnut root development, increased nutrient uptake, enhanced chlorophyll content, and consequently improved total biomass by 1.5-fold and 2.0-fold compared to the conventional and control groups, respectively. These results demonstrate that B. velezensis CE 100 is an effective biocontrol agent against anthracnose disease and a potential plant growth-promoting bacteria in walnut tree production. 相似文献

通过拉曼光谱法研究NZ8合金在360℃锂水和400℃蒸汽的静态高压釜中腐蚀后氧化膜的晶体结构。结果表明,NZ8合金的氧化膜主要由单斜氧化锆组成,其中包括少量畸变的四方氧化锆。随着腐蚀时间的延长,氧化膜中平均四方氧化锆含量不断减少,单斜氧化锆含量不断增加,四方氧化锆在向单斜氧化锆转变。从氧化膜/基体界面到氧化膜外表面,四方氧化锆含量不断减少,界面处四方氧化锆含量最高。NZ8合金在360℃锂水中腐蚀98d后所得氧化膜/金属界面处四方氧化锆含量较其在400℃蒸汽中腐蚀70d所得氧化膜/金属界面处四方氧化锆含量高,而且在400℃蒸汽中腐蚀后氧化膜外表面没有四方氧化锆形成。四方氧化锆向单斜氧化锆的转变决定了NZ8合金的耐腐蚀性能。氧化膜中四方氧化锆含量越高,则锆合金的耐腐蚀性能越好。 相似文献

Human computation games (HCGs) utilise human intelligence for the purpose of problem solving through games. Recently, HCGs have increased in popularity within various application areas. A proper system of describing such games is necessary in order to obtain a better understanding of the current body of work and identify new opportunities for future research directions. To date, however, there is little research conducted in understanding how such games could be classified in a systematic manner. Past classification schemes rely either on quality or entertainment aspects of these games. In order to have a deeper understanding of such games, this study argues that they should be classified via different dimensions. As a starting point, this paper reviews existing literature on HCGs and then develops a typology consisting of 12 dimensions and related strategies. This typology provides a holistic view of HCGs, and provides a common understanding of the domain among researchers and designers. The typology will help researchers to better understand the nature and consequences of HCGs, and designers better identify strengths and weaknesses of different strategies for each dimension, thus facilitating the creation of entertaining and effective HCGs. 相似文献

Loop heat pipes (LHPs) are two‐phase thermal control system, which works only by heat from its cooling target. In order to utilize the LHPs in various fields, it is required to be smaller, more reliable, and higher in performance. In the present study, a miniature LHP has been fabricated, and the effect of the amount of working fluid charged on thermal performance of the LHPs has been investigated. Tests were conducted including start‐up, and power step up, as function of the amount of working fluid. The test results showed that under‐charging the working fluid caused start‐up failure, while over‐charging the working fluid made the LHP less stable. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
