Toggle-flip-flop (T-FF) is one of the most important high-Tc superconducting single-flux quantum (HTS SFQ) circuit components and has been designed and fabricated by using YBa2Cu3 O7-delta ramp-edge junction technology. The circuit layout of the T-FF was improved to suppress the junction critical current (Ic) spread in the circuit. Test circuits, which include a T-FF with a single output for evaluating the logic operation and measuring the operating frequency, were fabricated and their operation characteristics were investigated. The T-FF circuit with a single output was successfully operated and finite direct current (dc) supply current margins were obtained at temperatures from 27 to 34 K. Moreover, the maximum operating frequency of the T-FF was estimated to be 360 GHz at 4.2 K and 114 GHz at 41 K. In addition, reduction of dc supply current margins due to thermal noise was also investigated. According to the numerical simulation in which parasitic inductances were taken into account, the narrowest margin in the T-FF circuit wider than plusmn10% was maintained with a bit-error rate (BER) of 10-6 up to 40 K  相似文献

A series of new amphoteric surfactants having a phosphoric acid group, a tertiary amino group and a 2-hydroxyalkyl group, sodium 2-(N-2-hydroxyalkyl-N-methyl-amino)ethyl hydrogen phosphates (alkyl: n-tetradecyl, n-hexadecyl, n-octadecyl), were prepared by an addition reaction of 1,2-epoxyalkanes to N-methylaminoethanol, followed by the introduction of a phosphoric acid group and neutralization with sodium hydroxide. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The solubility in solvents, Krafft point, surface tension, critical micelle concentration (CMC), occupation area of the molecule at the surface of aqueous solutions and foaming power were measured. It was shown that a 2-hydroxyethyl group in a long alkyl chain seemed to behave as a hydrophobic part.  相似文献

Thin DLC films coated on polymer surfaces are attracting considerable attention due to their wide applications and their interesting surface properties. When DLC films were coated on polymers, the resulting DLC-polymer composites are highly functionalized materials, some of which presenting dramatically improved gas barrier properties.In this paper, we will introduce several commonly used polymers including polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) for semi-crystalline polymers, and polymethyl methacyrlate (PMMA) for an amorphous polymer. The polymers were coated with thin DLC films and the gas barrier properties of the resulting DLC-polymer composites were investigated. Some of the DLC-polymer composites dramatically improved their gas barrier properties while they presented horizontal crack lines and vertical micro-buckling lines on the DLC surface when stretched to a certain strain. The gas barrier properties of the DLC-polymer composites with fractured DLC surface were also studied. It was found that the gas barrier property of the polymer substrates with lower residual strains was less damaged, when the substrates were mechanically deformed, than that of the polymer substrates with higher residual strains. When the number of the cracks increases, the strain imposed on each crack decreases, since the overall deformation is almost equally distributed to each crack while the crack spacing of each crack becomes shorter. Thus, it was found that the degradation of the gas barrier property after mechanical deformation is dependent on the residual strain of the polymers and the number of cracks on DLC films.  相似文献

A Comparison Between Machine Flexibility and Routing Flexibility   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, we evaluate two types of flexibility, machine flexibility and routing flexibility, in terms of manufacturing performance in various shop environments. A simulation-based investigation was conducted to analyze the impact of these types of flexibility on the average flow time of parts under various job flow pattern conditions, which characterize the shop nature from a random job shop to a flow shop, operation time variance, setup time, and shop load. The experimental results show how these types of flexibility affect the average flow time of parts and which type is superior under what conditions. Management can obtain better insight and guidelines for determining priorities or the scale, or scope, of various decision items relating to design standardization, process and operations improvement, investment in new equipment and tools, and the like.  相似文献

Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have been widely used for many industrial applications due to their outstanding physical properties such as high hardness, wear resistance and biological compatibility. The DLC films coated on polymer substrates have also been extensively used and investigated because recently, quite a few applications for the use of these polymer-DLC composites have been proposed and actively discussed. The applications range from DLC-coated Polyethylene Terephthalate film (DLC-PET), through DLC-coated Polycarbonate (DLC-PC) to other DLC-coated rubbers. In this work, thin DLC films coated on several polymer substrates possessing different chemical structures and Young's moduli were introduced. The DLC-polymer films were stretched to different strains and the extended surface was investigated by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to study the fracture mechanics of the DLC-coated polymer films. Horizontally and vertically aligned micro-cracks and micro-buckling were observed, constructing periodic lattice-like fracture patterns on the surface of the extended DLC-polymer films. It was found that the lattice patterns were significantly influenced by Young's moduli of polymer substrates and DLC films, and that the patterns were also dependent on the adhesion between the DLC films and the polymers.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of designing a production planning system for a combination of make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO) products where the production facility produces both types of products. Important management points in such production systems are to design an efficient production planning system which can shorten the manufacturing time of MTO products as well controlling the unfilled rate of MTS products to the market demand at a low level. A hierarchical production planning model is introduced in order to design the production planning system. The buffer capacity is set as a design variable for determining production capacity at a higher planning level, and the rule for allocating the production capacity to types of products is adopted as a design variable at a lower level. First, we analyse how these two design variables affect the unfilled rate of MTS products and the average manufacturing time of MTO products. Second, we clarify the relationship of the buffer capacity with the manufacturing time of MTO products and with the required buffer inventory level of MTS products which can maintain the unfilled rate of MTS products to the market demand within an acceptable limit. Third, we show an example of the range of design variables which can control the unfilled rate of MTS products and the manufacturing time of MTO products within their acceptable limits, if the individual limits of the performance measure is given to respond to customer orders quickly.  相似文献

Reinforced learning by which a robot acquires control rules by trial and error has attracted considerable attention. However, it is quite difficult for robots to acquire control rules by reinforcement learning in the real space because many learning trials are needed to arrive at the control rules; the robot itself may lose control, or there may be safety problems with the control objects. In this paper we propose a method in which a robot in the real space learns a virtual task, after which the task is transferred from the virtual to the real space. The robot eventually acquires the task in a real environment. We show that a real robot can acquire a task in a virtual space with an input device, using the example of an inverted pendulum. Next, we verify that the acquired task in the virtual space can be applied to a real‐world task. We emphasize the utilization of the virtual space to effectively obtain the real‐world task. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a clinical modality used to treat cancer and infectious diseases. The main agent is the photosensitizer (PS), which is excited by light and converted to a triplet excited state. This latter species leads to the formation of singlet oxygen and radicals that oxidize biomolecules. The main motivation for this review is to suggest alternatives for achieving high-efficiency PDT protocols, by taking advantage of knowledge on the chemical and biological processes taking place during and after photosensitization. We defend that in order to obtain specific mechanisms of cell death and maximize PDT efficiency, PSes should oxidize specific molecular targets. We consider the role of subcellular localization, how PS photochemistry and photophysics can change according to its nanoenvironment, and how can all these trigger specific cell death mechanisms. We propose that in order to develop PSes that will cause a breakthrough enhancement in the efficiency of PDT, researchers should first consider tissue and intracellular localization, instead of trying to maximize singlet oxygen quantum yields in in vitro tests. In addition to this, we also indicate many open questions and challenges remaining in this field, hoping to encourage future research.  相似文献

A series of new amphoteric surfactants, sodium salts of 2-(N-alkyl-N-methylamino)ethanephosphates (alkyl: n-dodecyl, n-tetradecyl and n-hexadecyl) were prepared by reacting alkylbromides with N-methylaminoethanol, followed by addition of phosphoric acid groups and neutralization with sodium hydroxide. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Physical properties such as Krafft point, isoelectric point, critical micelle concentration, occupation area of molecule at surface, foaming power and the effect of pH on surface activity were evaluated. These surfactants were found to exhibit zwitterionic characteristics in the pH range from approximately 5 to 9 and demonstrated good surface-active properties over a wide pH range (pH 4~10). Large occupation areas of the molecule at a surface in comparison with sodium dodecyl sulfate was noted as a characteristic feature of these surfactants.  相似文献

A series of new amphoteric surfactants, having a quaternary ammonium group and a phosphoric acid group, 2-(N-alkyl-N,N-dimethylammonio)ethyl hydrogen phosphates (alkyl: dodecyl, tetradecyl, hexadecyl), were prepared by introducing a phosphoric acid group into N-alkyl-N,N-dimethyl-(N-2-hydroxyethyl) ammoniumiodide, followed by neutralization with sodium hydroxide and removal of inorganic salts. By the evaluation of the physicochemical properties, it was found that the phosphobetaines behave like “nonionic” surfactant in the zwitterionic region, having very small CMC values in comparison with sodium 2-(N-alkyl-N-methylamino)ethyl hydrogen phosphates. Additionally, similar trends were also observed in the experiments from the point of the effect of electrolyte and temperature on CMC, respectively. It should be considered that the hydrophobicity of the surfactant molecule is increased by the electronic interaction between the quaternary ammonium group and a phosphoric acid group. On the other hand, the phosphobetaines gave the smaller values of the occupied area per molecule at the air/water interface than sodium 2-(N-alkyl-N-methylamino)ethyl hydrogen phosphates. Therefore, it is clear that the phosphobetaines have higher surface-active properties than the amphoteric surfactants.  相似文献
