The Fourier transform method is applied to analyze the initial phase of linear and equispaced Fizeau fringes. We develop an algorithm for high-precision phase measurement by using the Fourier coefficient that corresponds to the spatial frequency of the Fizeau fringes, and we describe methods for determining the fringe carrier frequency. Errors caused by carrier frequency fluctuation and data truncation are studied theoretically and by computer simulation. To demonstrate the method we apply it to the real-time calibration of a piezoelectric transducer mirror in a Twyman-Green interferometer. 相似文献

Simultaneous B-M-mode scanning method for real-time full-range Fourier domain optical coherence tomography 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
High-speed complex full-range Fourier domain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT) is demonstrated. In this FD-OCT, the phase modulation of a reference beam (M scan) and transversal scanning (B scan) are simultaneously performed. The Fourier transform method is applied along the direction of the B scan to reconstruct complex spectra, and the complex spectra comprise a full-range OCT image. Because of this simultaneous B-M-mode scan, the FD-OCT requires only a single A scan for each single transversal position to obtain a full-range FD-OCT image. A simple but slow version of the FD-OCT visualizes the cross section of a plastic plate. A modified fast version of this FD-OCT investigates a sweat duct in a finger pad in vivo and visualizes it with an acquisition time of 27 ms. 相似文献

Focus analysis techniques from computer vision are applied to digital holography to determine the depth (range) of multiple objects and their surfaces from a single hologram capture. With this method the depths of objects can be determined from a single hologram capture without the need for manual focusing and without prior information on object location. Variance and the Laplacian of Gaussian are analyzed as focus measures, and techniques are proposed for focus plane determination from the focus measure curves. The algorithm is described in detail and demonstrated through simulation and optical experiment. 相似文献

This paper discusses the present status of optical computing and interconnects, including device technology, and recent progress in three types of optical computing-analog, digital, and neural-is introduced. Examples of technologies used in an analog computing system, a technique for the optimal design of coherent phase-only spatial filters, and a new version of incoherent filtering are presented. The use of the modified sign digit number representation and its applications to digital optical computing are also described. Some architectures for optical neural computing are introduced, and the importance of optical interconnect technology in parallel computing is stressed. Permutation techniques, the board-to-board level interconnection techniques, and switching techniques are reviewed. Recent developments in optoelectronic devices and passive optical elements are outlined and finally some technological issues in optical computing and interconnects for practical use are discussed 相似文献

Mutations induced after low dose ionising radiation exposure have been intensively analysed not only for radiation risk estimation but also for basic understanding of cellular responses. Human lymphoblastoid TK6-20C cells were irradiated with 100 mGy of X rays and mutation at the heterozygous thymidine kinase (TK) locus was selected by trifluorothymidine (TFT) resistance. Although the mutation frequency at the TK locus increased from 5.6 x 10(-6) to 7.4 x 10(-6), this increase was not statistically significant. However, molecular analysis of TK mutants exhibiting loss of heterozygocity (LOH) demonstrated a clear effect of such low dose IR exposure. Exposure to 100 mGy X ray increased the fraction of hemizygous-LOH from 10% to 42%. In previous experiments, a similar tendency in the increase of hemizygous-LOH was also observed in TK6 cells after exposure to a 2 Gy dose of X rays. This type of LOH can be considered as a result of end-joining repair of DNA double strand breaks. 相似文献

Our research has shown that the autocorrelation peaks of a binary joint transform correlator are affected by input scenes' backgrounds. An adaptive method is proposed to overcome this problem. The image of interest is first extracted from the background based on the position of the highest correlation peak of the input and reference images. The extracted image is then correlated with the reference to obtain the final correlation peak. Numerical simulations showed that the final autocorrelation peak is the maximum constant for a specified reference image. 相似文献

An antireflective periodic structure different from the moth-eye structure is proposed in a resonance domain whose period is greater than the wavelength of incident light. Using rigorous coupled-wave analysis in the TE mode, a reflectivity of less than 0.2% is performed in a period larger than the wavelength, when an aspect ratio is unity. Changes in diffraction efficiency and transmissivity are small at different wavelengths. This is explained by a newly derived equation based on the vector theory. 相似文献

A simple zonal approach is proposed for estimating phase distribution on large grids. The estimation is based on phase differences that are precisely measured in two orthogonal directions by a lateral-shearing interferometer. It requires only O(N(2)) operations for reconstructing a phase distribution on an N × N grid.
