A unified critical state model for geomaterials with an application to tunnelling

This paper is prepared in honour of Professor E.T. Brown for his outstanding contributions to rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering and also for his personal influence on the first author's research career in geomechanics and geotechnical engineering. As a result, we have picked a topic that reflects two key research areas in which Professor E.T. Brown has made seminal contributions over a long and distinguished career. These two areas are concerned with the application of the critical state concept to modelling geomaterials and the analysis of underground excavation or tunnelling in geomaterials.Partially due to Professor Brown's influence, the first author has also been conducting research in these two areas over many years. In particular, this paper aims to describe briefly the development of a unified critical state model for geomaterials together with an application to cavity contraction problems and tunnelling in soils.     

A Dual Inhibitor of DYRK1A and GSK3β for β-Cell Proliferation: Aminopyrazine Derivative GNF4877

Loss of β-cell mass and function can lead to insufficient insulin levels and ultimately to hyperglycemia and diabetes mellitus. The mainstream treatment approach involves regulation of insulin levels; however, approaches intended to increase β-cell mass are less developed. Promoting β-cell proliferation with low-molecular-weight inhibitors of dual-specificity tyrosine-regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A) offers the potential to treat diabetes with oral therapies by restoring β-cell mass, insulin content and glycemic control. GNF4877, a potent dual inhibitor of DYRK1A and glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK3β) was previously reported to induce primary human β-cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo. Herein, we describe the lead optimization that lead to the identification of GNF4877 from an aminopyrazine hit identified in a phenotypic high-throughput screening campaign measuring β-cell proliferation.

乙二胺与氯乙酸乙酯经取代、环合反应制得2-哌嗪酮,2-哌嗪酮与Boc酸酐进行氨基保护反应后,再与五硫化二磷进行硫代反应制得4-(N-叔丁氧羰基)-2-哌嗪硫酮,其与三氟乙酰肼经取代、环合、脱叔丁氧羰基成盐,得标题化合物,总收率为45.7%(以氯乙酸乙酯计)。为磷酸西他列汀中间体的工业化生产提供了一条较理想的工艺路线。     

Synthesis and Characterization of Pr0.6-xNdxCa0.4FeO3-δ with Pechini Method

Pr0.6-x NdxCa0.4 FeO3-δ （ x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6） were synthesized using Pechini method. A number of studies were conducted concerning composition, specific area, crystalline structure and microstructure of the samples by means of FT-IR, BET, XRD TG-DTA and SEM. The results show that all the samples with different doping amounts of Pr^3＋ and Nd^3＋ on A-site are fine dispersed, and mean particle size less than 100 nm. The powders have good sinterability, and the relative density is 95% after sintered at 1200 ℃ for 2 h. It is found that all specimens are entirely single phase solid solutions with orthorhombic perovskite structure, the stable perovskitetype phase is formed completely after calcination at 900 ℃.

随着我国天然气主干管网的逐步形成，天然气产业链下游市场正在进入快速成长阶段，建立风险预警系统的重要性开始显现，而风险评价模型是其基础工作之一。文章在天然气产业链下游区域市场风险评价指标体系的基础上，综合运用层次分析法和灰色系统理论，建立了对天然气产业链下游区域市场风险评价的模型，并以各区域市场的用气量占全国总用气量的比重为权重，建立起完整的市场风险评价模型，可为评价天然气产业链下游市场整体市场风险时参考。     

Study of Disk-Loaded Waveguide Filled with Plasma

Recently disk-loaded waveguide has been widely used in high-power traveling wave tubes (HPTWT). It has been shown in many experiments that the interaction efficiency and output power can be increased greatly by injecting plasma into the vacuum microwave device. Using field analysis, the dispersion characteristics and the interaction impedance of the disk-loaded waveguide filled with plasma are analyzed in a strong longitudinal magnetic field. In conclusion, the frequency of the TM₀₁ mode increases as the density of the plasma increases. It also can be found when the plasma density increases to a large scale, the TM₀₁ mode of the disk-loaded waveguide overlaps the TG mode, these two modes couple each other and form the new hybrid modes.     

空间数据立方体的物化视图选择方法研究

针对决策支持系统(DSS)中集成空间分析能力的应用趋势，研究基于空间数据仓库的一种决策分析工具——空间在线分析处理(Spatial OLAP)，拟解决影响空间OLAP在线响应的瓶颈难点——空间数据立方体的物化问题。首先系统地提出空间OLAP的模型，然后对现有空间度量物化视图选择方法进行改进，提出了双向空间Greedy算法。实验证明．该算法在降低选择时间和求解质量两方面具有更好的表现。     

协作学习模式在计算机实验教学中的探索

通过建立计算机开放性实验室,设计各种开放实验,并结合协作学习的模式,为学生创造一个良好的学习与实践环境,以提高学生计算机方面的动手能力及与人协作的能力。阐述了协作学习模式在开放实验中的操作方式,协作学习网络平台的建设,并提出了几种开放实验室的建设及管理方法。
