A 73-year-old male developed disseminated erythema over his entire body after exposure to indeloxazine hydrochloride, a cerebral activator. Patch testing with indeloxazine hydrochloride showed a positive reaction, and plaques, vesicles and pustules developed on the face after the patch test. These had the pathologic feature of eosinophilic pustular folliculitis (EPF, Ofuji's disease). A challenge test also provoked eruptions on the face, trunk, arms and legs, which were compatible with EPF. Moreover, both the patch and challenge tests with indeloxazine hydrochloride induced eosinophilia. This is the first report of drug allergy-induced EPF, where drug sensitivity induced an abnormal eosinophilic response mimicking EPF. 相似文献

Core machining is often applied to improve the formativeness of foam core and the manufacturing effectiveness of sandwich panels. This paper investigates the effects of core machining configuration on the interfacial debonding toughness of foam core sandwich panels fabricated by vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding process. Several machining configurations are conducted to foam core, and skin–core debonding toughness of fabricated sandwich panels is evaluated using double-cantilever-beam tests. The sandwich panels with core cuts exhibited higher apparent fracture toughness than the panels without core cut, specifically in the case of perforated core. The relationship between core machining configuration and measured fracture toughness is discussed based on the experimental observations and the numerical analyses of energy release rates. 相似文献

The speckle interferometer based on multi-camera technology using two cameras is applied to a dynamic deformation measurement of the package of an electronic device. To perform high precise measurement by this method, the optimum conditions for measurements are discussed concerning the size of speckle and the frequency of carrier signals. Under the optimum conditions, the deformation process of the package during the operation of an operational amplifier is measured. Then, the local maximum deformation can be estimated as 150 nm from experimental results. From the results, it can be also confirmed that electronic devices are deformed by the stress of a heat by an operation every second during the operating time. 相似文献

A family of modified van der Waals equations of state (vdW EOS) is extremely useful for many industrial applications. For example, the generic Redlich-Kwong (RK) EOS or its modification by Soave (SRK EOS) and Peng-Robinson (PR EOS) are still of popular use in industry to the present day. These two most popular (“cubic”) EOSs are based on modifications [1/(V2 + bV), or 1/(V2 + 2bV − b2)] of the volume dependence on the attractive part of the original van der Waals EOS [1/V2] and also modifications of the temperature dependence of the attractive “a(T)” parameter of the original EOS (constant a). It is extremely rare in actual EOS applications to use the volume dependence of the original van der Waals EOS. In the present phase equilibrium calculations, we employ such a generic vdW EOS, P = RT/(V − b) − a(T)/V2, with our well-tested mixing rule for multi-component mixtures. Using the same form of the “a(T)” parameter and the mixing rule, it has been found that all generic RK, PR, and vdW EOSs can present the phase behaviors (temperature-pressure-composition diagrams) equally well. It is shown that experimental gas solubility data (CO2, CF3-CFH2, SO2, and NH3) in room-temperature ionic liquids are well correlated with the present EOS model, and also that the phase behaviors such as LLE (liquid-liquid separations) are satisfactorily predicted. 相似文献

Three diamensional (3D) measurement method by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) has already been proposed by using the principle
of shadow moiré. In the method, the image of original grid in shadow moiré image must be clearly removed in fringe analysis
process in order to perform high resolution analysis. A new method based on the principle of projection moiré is proposed
to solve the trouble concerning the grid. In this paper, the mechanism of producing some shadows of grid on the surface of
the object by back scattering electron beam in the new method is discussed. Fringe image as shadow of grid is analyzed by
Wavelet transform. The precise 3D measurement is realized by using the phenomenon of shadows of grid. Furthermore, a 3D micro
structure on the head of a hard disk is measured. From the comparison of results obtained by Atomic Force Microscope (AFM),
it is confirmed that the proposed method has high-resolution power(about 20nm). 相似文献

Dynamic deformation measurement with a large deformation is effectively performed by using virtual speckle patterns. The virtual
speckle pattern has been generally produced by using the operation based on Fourier transform. However, it takes a long calculating
time to produce a virtual speckle pattern, because the method requires Fourier transform operation at each pixel of CCD. In
the proposed method, virtual speckle patterns are produced by Carré algorithm without any operation by Fourier transform.
The method is applied to the in-plane deformation measurement in this paper. As the results, it is confirmed that the calculating
cost of virtual speckle patterns is improved remarkably, and that the measurement accuracy of the new method is also equal
to the ordinary methods. It is also confirmed that the proposed method will expand the use of the speckle interferometry based

Room-temperature continuous-wave operation of a 1.5 /spl mu/m range GaInNAs laser grown by metal organic chemical vapour deposition is reported. The lasing wavelength of the GaInNAs/GaAs double quantum well laser was 1.50 /spl mu/m and the threshold current was 245 mA. The characteristic temperature between 10 and 50/spl deg/C was about 119 K under pulse operation. 相似文献

The vapor-absorption refrigeration cycle is an old and well-established technique, particularly with ammonia/water and water/LiBr systems. New types of refrigerant–absorbent pairs are also being actively studied. Modeling the cycle performance requires thermodynamic properties, which have been largely based on empirical correlation equations fitted to a large amount of experimental data such as solubility at various temperatures, pressures, and compositions. In this report, we have demonstrated, for the first time, a thermodynamically consistent model based on the equations of state for refrigerant–absorbent mixtures. Various commonly known binary-pairs for the absorption cycle are used as examples. Cycle performances and some new insights on understanding the cycle process are shown. 相似文献

An all polymeric electrically conductive thermoset adhesive resin system is prepared for future lightning strike protection applications. Polyaniline (PANI)‐based hybrid nano‐composite is prepared by incorporating high apparent‐density type vapor grown carbon fiber (VGCF‐H) as additional conductive filler. Electrical, mechanical and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding properties of PANI‐dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA), and divinylbenzene (DVB) system are improved with addition of VGCF‐H. Different weight percentages of VGCF‐H in the PANI‐DBSA/DVB matrix, are studied, and their effect on composite's properties are investigated. Electrical conductivity up to 1.89 S/cm with the addition of 5 wt% VGCF‐H is achieved, which is almost 300% improvement compared with previous system. However, the maximum flexural modulus is obtained at 3 wt% of VGCF‐H. The change in the electronic structure of PANI with the addition of VGCF‐H is investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) analysis. Rheological study and Differential scanning calorimetry analysis were employed to show the effect of VGCF‐H concentration on curing profile of the nanocomposites. EMI shielding properties of the composite with and without VGCF‐H are measured in X‐band frequencies and compared. Composite with 5 wt% VGCF‐H has shown EMI shielding effectiveness about 51 dB in X‐band, which is higher than the composite without VGCF‐H (around 22 dB). POLYM. ENG. A novel, precise, three-dimensional shape measurement method using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Moiré topography has been proposed. The possibility for measurement of wavelength order using this method is discussed based on results of experiments to confirm the principle. In these experiments, a high-resolution method based on the new measurement method is proposed, employing fringe scanning technology for the shadow Moiré. The optical system is constructed with a SEM using backscattering electrons, a grating holder that can shift the position of the grating, and a grating having a pitch of 120?µm. Measured results using a bearing ball as a sample show that high resolution measurements of around one micrometre can be performed using the fringe scanning method and the new measurement arrangement. An error analysis of the method is performed to enable improvement of the measuring accuracy. 相似文献
