ABSTRACT Gold colloidal nanoparticles (GNPs) were prepared by reducing a complex of Au+. Na3Au(SO3)2 with sodium citrate. The procedure provides control of the dimension of nanoparticles produced, which is a function of reaction time and concentration of reactants. The nanoparticles were separated by centrifugation and their characteristics and dimensions were studied using UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy and transmission electronic microscopy (TEM). 相似文献

Abstract We consider grammar systems in which several components are active at the same moment (a team of components is working). The power of such mechanisms is investigated and it is found that in many cases the team feature increases the generative capacity of grammar systems. In the so-called t-mode of derivation (a team works as much as it can) it is found that the team size does not induce an infinite hierarchy of languages. However, the family obtained in this case is a full abstract family of languages properly including ETOL. 相似文献

The effects of benzo- and benzocyclobutadieno-(BCBD-)annelation on the local aromaticity of the central ring (X) of phenanthrene were examined. The local aromaticity of the ring X was estimated using a graph-theory-based index and two geometry-based indices. DFT calculations of phenanthrene congeners showed that many of these molecules are nonplanar, with significant steric strain. All three indices indicate that the effect of benzo-annelation is opposite to that of BCBD-annelation. The deviation of some phenanthrene derivatives from planarity does not influence the effects of annelation. This finding is in accord with some previously reported studies on the dependence of the aromaticity of the ring(s) on distortion from planarity. 相似文献

The plate/screen-type electrostatic separator presented in this article provides a user-friendly environment for the experimental modeling of existing industrial units and facilitates investigations aiming at identifying new possibilities for using electric field forces for processing mixed granular solids. This multifunctional unit can be equipped with two different active electrodes, which can be energized from one or two independent high-voltage supplies, and the operator has the choice between two types of grounded electrodes: plate and plate/screen. The experiments carried out on a 50% quartz-50% magnetite mixture demonstrate that the efficiency of the separation can be increased by using a grounded plate/screen electrode and two high-voltage electrodes, energized from different supplies. 相似文献
