Electroinitiated cationic copolymerisation of indene and styrene was investigated by constant potential electrolysis. The unlubricated wear behaviour of explosive shock treated and, subsequently plasma nitrided Ti–6Al–4 V alloy was studied using a ball-on-disc wear tester. Plasma nitriding was carried out at three different temperatures (700, 800 and 900 °C) for 3, 6, 9 and 12 h. Plasma nitriding after explosive shock treatment enabled a reduction in the wear rate of two orders of magnitude. Detailed investigations of this improved wear performance dependent on the nitriding temperature and time were carried out. The friction and wear data showed a clear breakthrough transition from the nitrided layer to the core of the Ti–6Al–4 V alloy matrix. The lowest wear volume was obtained for the sample, nitrided at 900 °C for 12 h, especially at loads of 2.5, 5 and 7.5 N. Obviously, the hard nitride layers were intimately associated with low wear rate, providing a smooth low friction surface. The coefficient of friction reduced from 0.46 to 0.2 due to a thick and hard compound layer resulting from a high nitrogen diffusion rate caused by explosive shock treatment that expected to increase point defects in the alloy. Detailed examination of the wear tracks showed that plasma nitriding changes the mechanism of wear from one of adhesion for untreated Ti–6Al–4 V to both delamination and mild abrasive. 相似文献

To evaluate the effect of intracanal medicaments on the push-out bond strength of Biodentine in comparison with DiaRoot BioAggregate (BA) when used as apical plugs. Forty single-rooted teeth were prepared using Peeso reamers. The samples were divided into four groups. The intracanal medicaments were applied to the root canals as follows: Group1: a combination of metronidazole–ciprofloxacin–cefaclor, Group2: a combination of metronidazole–ciprofloxacin, Group3: calcium hydroxide, and Group4: no medication. After 21 days, the medicaments were removed. The apical part of each root was horizontally sectioned into 1-mm thick slices. The samples were divided into two subgroups, and the following materials were placed: Biodentine, DiaRoot-BioAggregate. After 48-h incubation, the push-out bond strength was measured. The data were analyzed by a two-way ANOVA. Biodentine showed a significantly higher mean push-out bond strength value than DiaRoot-BioAggregate (P = 0.00). The medications have an effect on the push-out bond strength of both materials (P = 0.002). Biodentine showed better adhesive performance as an apical plug than DiaRoot-BioAggregate. 相似文献

The flame-quench-melt-growth (FQMG) method was used for the preparation of bulk YBa2Cu3O7?x (Y123). Both the superconducting and nonsuperconducting regions changing with thickness of superconducting sample were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and also observed at micrographs taken by the polarized optical microscope. It was observed that superconducting forming ratio which was examined for different thicknesses of the sample ranging from 6.54 to 1.58 mm strongly enhanced. This means that a region near the top surface of the sample contains more superconducting phase than the other regions. These observations would be helpful in designing and manufacturing the practical applications of YBCO systems. 相似文献

This study administered the unethical computer using behavior scale (UECUBS) developed by [Namlu, A.G., & Odabasi, F. (2007). Unethical computer using behavior scale: A study of reliability and validity on Turkish university students. Computers and Education, 48, 205–215.] to investigate whether gender, program of study and PC experience have an impact on ethical judgments of undergraduate students regarding information and communication technologies (ICTs). The sample consisted of 559 undergraduates from the Education Faculty of the most populated state university in Turkey. The results of 5 (program of study) × 2 (gender) × 2 (PC experience) between-groups analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicated no significant differences among different programs of study and between high and low experienced PC users. The analysis showed significant differences between males and females. A significant interaction between the program of study and gender was found, which indicated that the difference between males and females did not follow a similar pattern across different programs of study. More specifically, females’ ethical judgments were consistent across different fields while males’ judgments varied according to the field of study. 相似文献

In this study, some probiotic characteristics such as antimicrobial activity, vancomycin resistance, growth ability at pH, resistance to bile salts, bile salt deconjugation and hydrophobicity of 30 Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus durans strains isolated and identified from raw milk and various dairy products were investigated. According to the study results, antimicrobial activity profiling, pH and bile salt resistance and bile salt deconjugation ability of Enterococcus strains varied depending on the species and strains and all the strains showed resistance to the tested bile salt concentrations. It was concluded that the E. faecium and E. durans strains tested showed probiotic characteristics and have the potential to be used in food production. 相似文献

Copolymerisation of styrene and isoprene by constant potential electrolysis in dichloromethane was achieved at different polymerisation potentials. Effect of ultrasonic vibration on the rate and the yield of polymerisation has been discussed. The composition of the copolymers was found to be affected by the vibration as well as the polymerisation potential (Epol). At Epol=+3.30 V we found that r1=r2 and mole percents of isoprene and styrene in copolymer were equal to each other. Equality was also observed on reacted monomer concentrations, at that potential, which can be called critical polymerisation potential. At Epol values above or below the critical polymerisation potential none of the above-mentioned properties were equal. Monomer reactivity ratios were determined by the integrated Lewis-Mayo equation. Ultrasonic vibration as well as polymerisation potential was found to affect reactivity ratios. 相似文献

Liquid-state radiation-induced and electroinitiated polymerisations of epoxycyclohexane (ECH) have been investigated. The effect of temperature on the electroinitiated polymerisation rate was also studied. The decrease in monomer concentration during polymerisation was followed by gas chromatographic analysis of electrolysis solutions. The i.r. spectra of the polymers suggested polyether structure. N.m.r. spectra of products indicate that the polymerisation of ECH propagates through the opening of the epoxy rings. In this paper, the auxiliary equation method is applied to obtain analytical solutions of (2 + 1)-dimensional time-fractional Zoomeron equation and the time-fractional third order modified KdV equation in the sense of the conformable fractional derivative. Given equations are converted to the nonlinear ordinary differential equations of integer order; and then, the resulting equations are solved using a novel analytical method called the auxiliary equation method. As a result, some exact solutions for them are successfully established. The exact solutions obtained by the proposed method indicate that the approach is easy to implement and effective. 相似文献
