In this work, the pulse electrodeposition technique has been employed for the first time to deposit SnSe films from a bath containing Analar grade 50?mM tin chloride (SnCl4) and 5?mM SeO2. The XRD profile of SnSe thin films deposited at different duty cycles indicate the peaks corresponding to SnSe. Atomic force microscopy studies indicated that the surface roughness increased from 0.5 to 1.5?nm with duty cycle. The transmission spectra exhibited interference fringes. The value of refractive index at 780?nm was 2.1, this value decreased to 1.95 with decrease of duty cycle. The room temperature resistivity increased from 0.1 to 10?Ωcm with decrease of duty cycle. Photo electrochemical cell studies were made using the films deposited at different duty cycles. For duty cycles greater than 15% photo output was observed. For a film deposited at 50% duty cycle, an open circuit voltage of 0.55?V and a short circuit current density of 5.0?mA?cm?2 at 60 mW?cm?2 illumination. Capacitance voltage measurements indicated Vfb?=?0.67?V (SCE) and p type, carrier density?=?6.98?×?1016?cm?3.  相似文献

This paper deals with the coverage probability analysis of mmWave simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) system using stochastic geometry. mmWaves are higher frequency waves results in dense deployment of base stations (BS) leading to a higher data rate. Stochastic geometry provides a mathematical model to the randomly distributed nodes in the network. The Poisson point process (PPP) is the most analytically tractable and widely used model for the location of BSs, but it fails to capture the underlying separation between the BSs of cellular networks. Ginibre point process (GPP) model is used for the repulsion between the two nodes and provides a realistic model compared to PPP. In this paper, mmWave interfering base stations are considered to be GPP for deriving the coverage probability analysis. The proposed model considers the interfering base stations for analyzing the coverage probability. The closed form expression for the coverage probability is derived and is analyzed. The theoretical results are validated through simulation results.

Nickel–manganese alloys were coated from sulphate baths by electrodeposition with ‘Packed Bed’ technique on the surface of proprietary lanthanum rich non-stoichiometric MlNi3.03Si0.85Co0.60Mn0.31Al0.08 (Ml = lanthanum rich misch metal) hydrogen storage alloy particles. The structure and nature of the microencapsulated alloys were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) was investigated in 6 M KOH at 30 °C by galvnostatic cathodic polarisation technique. The effects of Ni/Mn ratio in the bath and deposition current density were studied. Among the investigated depositions, Ni150Mn100 (30) and Ni150Mn10 (60) (concentration of Ni and Mn salts in electrodeposition bath given in grams per liter; electrodeposition current density (CD) given within brackets in milliamphere per square centimeter) coated samples exhibited the highest activity towards the HER. It can be concluded that disordered paramagnetic coatings with Ni concentrations above 80 at.% exhibit higher catalytic activity towards HER. The Tafel mechanism is the easiest pathway for HER on most of the studied coatings. However, some of the Ni-rich coatings prefer the Volmer–Tafel path and one sample [Ni150Mn150 (80)] prefers the Heyrovsky–Volmer path.  相似文献

A simple, noninvasive technique based on Hilbert transform (HT) time-signal displays is described. The authors discuss methods of showing forward- and reverse-flow Doppler echocardiograph signals as a time course of events relating to valve stenosis and regurgitation for providing additional cardiac insonation diagnostic information. The Doppler ultrasound demodulated signals are separated using the HT technique and then shown as segments of waveforms along with the corresponding electrocardiogram. This allows one to relate cardiac activity events, to assess valve leaflet thickness in severe mitral-valve stenosis cases, and to examine the opening and closing of valve leaflets for diagnosis  相似文献

This paper introduces a new method of clustering algorithm based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) generated from intuitionistic fuzzy sets to analyze tumor in magnetic resonance (MR) images by reducing time complexity and errors. Based on fuzzy clustering, during the segmentation process one can consider numerous cases of uncertainty involving in membership function, distance measure, fuzzifier, and so on. Due to poor illumination of medical images, uncertainty emerges in their gray levels. This paper concentrates on uncertainty in the allotment of values to the membership function of the uncertain pixels. Proposed method initially pre-processes the brain MR images to remove noise, standardize intensity, and extract brain region. Subsequently IVIFSs are constructed to utilize in the clustering algorithm. Results are compared with the segmented images obtained using histogram thresholding, k-means, fuzzy c-means, intuitionistic fuzzy c-means, and interval type-2 fuzzy c-means algorithms and it has been proven that the proposed method is more effective.  相似文献
