Magnetic MnFe2O4 nanopowders were synthesized by an original solvothermal method in the absence and in the presence of tetra-n-butylammonium bromide (TBAB) and Tween 80 (TW) as surfactants. Manganese ferrite/polyaniline (PANI) hybrid materials were synthesized by in situ polymerization of aniline on the surface of MnFe2O4 using ammonium persulfate as oxidant. The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of the two surfactants on the properties of the MnFe2O4 powders and of their composites with PANI. The specific surface area, the cumulative surface area of pores and the cumulative volume of pores are influenced by the nature of surfactant in case of MnFe2O4 powders and are higher by comparison to those of the MnFe2O4/PANI hybrid materials. The values of saturation magnetization in case of MnFe2O4 powders are higher than those of the hybrid materials and are not influenced by the surfactant nature. These features revealed that MnFe2O4 powders can be efficiently used as adsorbents for the purification of wastewaters. The values of the electrical conductivity of the composites exhibit a significant increase in comparison to the MnFe2O4 powders and depend on the surfactant nature. The highest value of electrical conductivity was achieved by the composite obtained using Tween 80 as surfactant (σDC = 54.5·10?5S?m?1) which was close to that of PANI (σDC = 61.2·10?5 S?m?1). The fact that the magnetic and electric properties of the synthesized MnFe2O4/PANI composites can be changed by design, demonstrate the high potential of these materials to be used in magneto-electric applications.  相似文献

In this study, five different algorithms are provided for tracking targets that move very fast in wireless sensor networks. The first algorithm is static and clusters are formed initially at the time of network deployment. In the second algorithm, clusters that have members at one hop distance from the cluster head are provided dynamically. In the third algorithm, clustered trees where members of a cluster may be more than one hop distance from the cluster head are provided dynamically. In the fourth, algorithm lookahead trees are formed along the predicted trajectory of the target dynamically. Linear, Kalman and particle filtering techniques are used to predict the target’s next state. The algorithms are compared for linear and nonlinear motions of the target against tracking accuracy, energy consumption and missing ratio parameters. Simulation results show that, for all cases, better performance results are obtained in the dynamic lookahead tree based tracking approach.  相似文献

Nanocellulose is a sustainable and eco-friendly nanomaterial derived from renewable biomass.In this study,we utilized the structural advantages of two types of nanocellulose and fabricated freestanding carbonized hybrid nanocellulose films as electrode materials for supercapacitors.The long cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) formed a macroporous framework,and the short cellulose nanocrystals were assembled around the CNF framework and generated micro/mesopores.This two-level hierarchical porous structure was successfully preserved during carbonization because of a thin atomic layer deposited (ALD) Al2O3 conformal coating,which effectively prevented the aggregation of nanocellulose.These carbonized,partially graphitized nanocellulose fibers were interconnected,forming an integrated and highly conductive network with a large specific surface area of 1,244 m2·g-1.The two-level hierarchical porous structure facilitated fast ion transport in the film.When tested as an electrode material with a high mass loading of 4 mg·cm-2 for supercapacitors,the hierarchical porous carbon film derived from hybrid nanocellulose exhibited a specific capacitance of 170 F.g-1and extraordinary performance at high current densities.Even at a very high current of 50 A·g-1,it retained 65% of its original specific capacitance,which makes it a promising electrode material for high-power applications.  相似文献

Real-time delivery of medical videos requires high level of quality of service that shows no tolerance to loss and delay. In this study, how content-adaptive streaming can aid to maintain high-quality streaming sessions is investigated. The proposed strategy allocates a specific amount of bandwidth to streaming sessions and takes advantage of the general structure of instructional medical videos to decrease bandwidth consumption below this limit. The main contribution of the proposed mechanism is that it eliminates the need for rate adaptation which is common in traditional streaming by employing a proper bandwidth management scheme that enables constant bandwidth consumption below the allocated capacity. A streaming system based on the proposed mechanism has been implemented and its performance has been tested via emulation. Experimental results indicate that content-adaptive streaming successfully eliminates the need of rate adaptation during the delivery of critical data and hence preserves viewers’ satisfaction.  相似文献

Cooperative transmissions have received recent attention and research papers have demonstrated their benefits for wireless networks. Such benefits include improving the reliability of links through diversity and/or increasing the reach of a link compared to a single transmitter transmitting to a single receiver (single-input single-output or SISO). In one form of cooperative transmissions, multiple nodes can act as virtual antenna elements and provide diversity gain or range improvement using space-time coding. In a multi-hop ad hoc or sensor network, a source node can make use of its neighbors as relays with itself to reach an intermediate node with greater reliability or at a larger distance than otherwise possible. The intermediate node will use its neighbors in a similar manner and this process continues till the destination is reached. Thus, for the same reliability of a link as SISO, the number of hops between a source and destination may be reduced using cooperative transmissions as each hop spans a larger distance. However, the presence of malicious or compromised nodes in the network impacts the benefits obtained with cooperative transmissions. Using more relays can increase the reach of a link, but if one or more relays are malicious, the transmission may fail. However, the relationships between the number of relays, the number of hops, and success probabilities are not trivial to determine. In this paper, we analyze this problem to understand the conditions under which cooperative transmissions fare better or worse than SISO transmissions. We take into consideration additional parameters such as the path-loss exponent and provide a framework that allows us to evaluate the conditions when cooperative transmissions are better than SISO transmissions. This analysis provides insights that can be employed before resorting to simulations or experimentation.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to assess the environmental performance of Turkish provinces by using a non-parametric method, Data Envelopment Analysis. The results of ranking are based on the provinces’ ability to produce the largest equi-proportional increase in the desirable output-gross domestic product and decrease in the undesirable output namely, air pollutants. The results indicate that 7.41% of the sample provinces are relatively efficient. The results also show that, regions with the highest level gross domestic product per capita have the highest efficiency scores. New industrial districts have lower efficiencies in spite of relatively higher income per capita. In the second stage of the study the possible relationship between environmental efficiency scores and input, output variables are investigated by a regression analysis. According to the results, there is a positive relationship between gross domestic product and efficiency scores.  相似文献

Objectives: The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of different desensitizers’ application on the microleakage of previously restored Class V composite resin restorations.

Materials and methods: Class V cavities were prepared on the buccal surfaces of 40 extracted human third molars. Forty box-shaped cavities were divided into four groups, based on the desensitizers used (n = 10). All teeth were restored with the same bonding agent and composite material. No desensitizer was applied in the control group. In the experimental groups, BisBlock, Gluma and Universal bonding agents were the desensitizers. The desensitizers were applied after completion of composite restorations according to manufacturers’ instructions. All specimens were then thermocycled at 5–55 °C, with a 10-s dwell time for 500 cycles. The samples were then immersed in 0.5% methylene blue dye for 24 h, sectioned into two equal halves, evaluated for microleakage using a stereomicroscope at 30× magnification and scored on a scale of 0–3. The data were analysed using the Kruskal–Wallis test at the significance level p < 0.05.

Results: There were no significant differences in microleakage after desensitizer application (p > 0.05). However, based on the obtained numerical values in our study, while the BisBlock and bonding groups showed lower microleakage at the occlusal margin, BisBlock, Gluma and bonding group showed lower microleakage at the gingival margin compared to the control group.

Conclusions: The application of desensitizers as a post-treatment option could be considered an advisable procedure to minimize microleakage.  相似文献

In this study, a set of constitutive equation corrected for deformation heating is proposed for a near equi-atomic NiTi shape memory alloy using isothermal hot compression tests in temperature range of 700 to 1000 °C and strain rate of 0.001 to 1 s−1. In order to determine the temperature rise due to deformation heating, Abaqus simulation was employed and varied thermal properties were considered in the simulation. The results of hot compression tests showed that at low pre-set temperatures and high strain rates the flow curves exhibit a softening, while after correction of deformation heating the softening is vanished. Using the corrected flow curves, the power-law constitutive equation of the alloy was established and the variation of constitutive constants with strain was determined. Moreover, it was found that deformation heating introduces an average relative error of about 9.5% at temperature of 800 °C and strain rate of 0.1 s−1. The very good agreement between the fitted flow stress (by constitutive equation) and the measured ones indicates the accuracy of the constitutive equation in analyzing the hot deformation behavior of equi-atomic NiTi alloy.  相似文献
