Solubility of NiO in Al2O3 was determined by electron probe microanalysisy A diffusion couple method was used by coupling an NiO-doped Al2O3 polycrystal to a pure single crystal of Al2O3. The solubility of NiO in Al2O3 in air was 230 wt ppm (157 at. ppm of cations) and 170 wt ppm (116 at. ppm) at 2073 and 1973 K, respectively. The solubility of NiO in Al2O3 obtained in this work was compared with our previous work of the solubility of MgO in Al2o3.  相似文献

To obtain a durable Ni coating with excellent adhesion strength on an AZ91D Mg alloy, a pretreatment was performed with a small amount of Cu2+ ions added to the activation bath used in the pretreatment prior to the plating process. In the pretreatment activation process, a high density Cu layer was deposited on both the α-phase and β-phase areas of the substrate accompanied with Mg dissolution. The Cu deposit acted as nucleation seeds for the Zn deposition in the following zincate process which provided a uniform and dense Zn layer almost completely covering the substrate. Then a thin Cu layer was electroplated on this zincated substrate as an undercoating for the succeeding electroplating with Ni. Cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy observations showed that the Cu deposited by the pretreatment enabled the deposition of a protective Ni layer with few defects. This structure also contributed to the improvement of adhesion strength and corrosion resistance as compared with the non-Cu added sample.  相似文献

We report a peculiar multifocal micronodular proliferation of pneumocytes occurring in a 24-yr-old woman with tuberous sclerosis and lymphangioleiomyomatosis. A computed tomographic scan of the chest demonstrated multiple minute nodules present throughout both lung fields. Histologically, the nodules were well demarcated, measured up to 1.6 mm in diameter, and were composed of thickened, fibrotic, alveolar septa lined by pleomorphic, type II pneumocytes. Positive immunohistochemical stains for keratin, BER-EP4, and surfactant, and negative immunohistochemical staining with an antibody recognizing Clara cells support an epithelial origin from type II pneumocytes. The absence of immunohistochemical staining for HMB45 suggests a histogenesis separate than the lesions of lymphangioleiomyomatosis. We failed to detect estrogen or progesterone receptors in either the lesions of lymphangioleiomyomatosis or the micronodular proliferations. Recognition of these unique lesions facilitates their distinction from other epithelial proliferations, particularly atypical bronchioloalveolar cell hyperplasia. This lesion appears to be a distinctive manifestation of tuberous sclerosis. It is probably hamartomatous.  相似文献

γ‐Butyrolactone (GBL)‐processable high modulus heat‐resistant materials were developed in this work. The polyaddition of an ester‐containing tetracarboxylic dianhydride, i.e. hydroquinone bis(trimellitate anhydride) (TAHQ), and 2,2′‐bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine (TFMB) in GBL resulted in gelation in the initial reaction stage. The incorporation of a methyl group to TAHQ (M‐TAHQ) allowed polymerization with TFMB in GBL and led to a homogeneous poly(ester imide) (PEsI) precursor solution with a short pot life of 3 days, whereas a simple copolymerization approach using bulky/flexible comonomers to TAHQ/TFMB was less effective. PEsI precursors (PEsAAs) were prepared from TFMB, M‐TAHQ and a minor fraction of 4,4′‐(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA) or a fluorene‐containing tetracarboxylic dianhydride. These PEsAA systems showed drastically improved GBL solution stability. In particular, the M‐TAHQ(80);6FDA(20)/TFMB copolymer system provided a PEsAA film with a very high light transmittance at 365 nm (>70%). A photosensitive film composed of this matrix resin and diazonaphthoquinone provided a clear positive‐tone pattern by development in a 2.38 wt% tetramethylammonium hydroxide aqueous solution at room temperature with a high dissolution contrast. The thermally cured PEsI film achieved a very high tensile modulus (>5 GPa) as the present target with other desirable properties, i.e. sufficient film flexibility, a relatively low coefficient of thermal expansion, a high Tg and low water absorption. An attempt is made to determine if investment in R&D and the hiring of college-educated employees result in a higher rate of inventions. The relationship between the input of R&D and inventive output is studied in two samples of Japanese factories, 34 in 1982 and 44 in 1970. These results are compared with findings in a parallel American study. The correlations between R&D and inventive output are similar in Japan and America in the 1980s, despite some differences in the management of innovation in the two nations. Moreover, the most Westernized subsample of Japanese firms in the 1970s had correlations between R&D and invention similar to those observed in the American study. Thus, it is concluded that some degree of convergence may be taking place in R&D management strategies in the two nations  相似文献

Convergence of solutions of the ERATO code is studied numerically. Some irregularities of the computed data points on a convergence curve are observed in our investigation. It is conjectured that these irregularities are due to inaccuracy of the equilibrium or to inappropriate choice of the equilibrium calculation meshes.  相似文献

Available information for two samples of factory organizations on the US and Japan are compared. Japanese factories are found to differ systematically from those in America in terms of several characteristics. These include marketing outputs, input of materials, machine automation, methods of production, human resource development, motivating incentives, and willingness to work. Moreover, available data suggest that the Japanese plants are outperforming those in the American sample. It is proposed that one reason is the higher rate of suggestions by employees in Japan.
