In this paper we explore the impact of power structure on price, sensitivity of market price, and profits in a two-stage supply chain with a single-product, -supplier and -buyer. We develop and analyze the case where the supplier has dominant bargaining power and the case where the buyer has dominant bargaining power, and consider a pricing scheme for the buyer that involves both a multiplier and a constant mark up. We show that it is optimal for the buyer to set the mark-up to zero and use only a multiplier and that the market price and its sensitivity are higher when operational costs (namely distribution and inventory) exist. We also observe that the sensitivity of the market price increases nonlinearly as the wholesale price increases, and derive a lower bound for it. Through experimental analysis, we show that marginal impact of increasing shipment cost and carrying charge (interest rate) on prices and profits are decreasing in both cases.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper experimentally investigated the characteristics of different (filament and multicomponent) core-spun yarn type. Filament core-spun yarns comprised cotton covered drawn textured (DTY) polyester (PET) filaments with four different filament finenesses. Regarding the production of multicomponent (dual) core-spun yarns, both PET with four different filament finenesses and elastane with four levels of draft variable were fed simultaneously. Yarn samples were produced with modified ring spinning system at the same spinning conditions. As a control group, 100% cotton ring-spun yarn was also manufactured. Tensile properties, unevenness, imperfections and hairiness of yarn samples were determined. Also, fatigue characteristics of yarn samples were examined at two different loading of cycles. The results showed that filament fineness had a significant effect on all yarn properties being determined. Dynamic modulus and dynamic strain properties of yarns, filament fineness, elastane draft and number of cycle were found to be statistically significant at 0.05 level.  相似文献

It was firstly described that a glassy carbon electrode electropolymerized with methylene blue shows an efficient photoelectrocatalytic activity towards NADH oxidation in a phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0). In order to perform the photoelectrocatalytic determination of NADH in a flow injection analysis (FIA) system, a home-made flow electrochemical cell with a suitable transparent window for the irradiation of the electrode surface was constructed. The currents obtained from the photoamperometric measurements in the FIA system at optimum conditions (flow rate of carrier solution, 1.3 mL min−1; transmission tubing length, 10 cm; injection volume, 100 μL; and constant applied potential, +150 mV vs. Ag/AgCl) were linearly dependent on the NADH concentration and linear calibration curves were obtained in the range of 1.0 × 10−7–2.0 × 10−4 M. The detection limit was found to be 4.0 × 10−8 M for photoamperometric determination of NADH.  相似文献

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) has proven to be a useful tool for assessing efficiency or productivity of organizations, which is of vital practical importance in managerial decision making. DEA provides a significant amount of information from which analysts and managers derive insights and guidelines to promote their existing performances. Regarding to this fact, effective and methodologic analysis and interpretation of DEA results are very critical. The main objective of this study is then to develop a general decision support system (DSS) framework to analyze the results of basic DEA models. The paper formally shows how the results of DEA models should be structured so that these solutions can be examined and interpreted by analysts through information visualization and data mining techniques effectively. An innovative and convenient DEA solver, SmartDEA, is designed and developed in accordance with the proposed analysis framework. The developed software provides DEA results which are consistent with the framework and are ready-to-analyze with data mining tools, thanks to their specially designed table-based structures. The developed framework is tested and applied in a real world project for benchmarking the vendors of a leading Turkish automotive company. The results show the effectiveness and the efficacy of the proposed framework.  相似文献

In this work, we have presented a new route to produce pure ZnO and composite ZnO-CuO thin films. In the process we have started with pure ZnO thin films and ended up with CuO by doping Cu in various percentages, ranging from 0% to 100%. We have managed to attain crystal phases in all doping concentrations. All the produced thin films have been crystallized at the annealing temperatures of 600 and 700 °C for 6 h. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra have been performed to see the formation of crystal phases of all pure ZnO and composite ZnO-CuO thin films. These give insight that the two crystal phases related to ZnO and CuO stayed together within the thin film matrices, which were produced in different doping concentrations, i.e. nZnO + mCuO (0  n, m  100%). The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs and UV–vis absorption spectra have also been taken to elucidate the structure and composition of the all films.  相似文献

A quantitative measure of density and of water content in soil was determined by photon multiple scattering following sample irradiation by a 0.7 mCi 137Cs source. Counting was effected using a stabilized single channel scintillation detector and counter system in the differential mode. Scattered photons of 80 keV energy were measured using a 20 keV window. The moving source method was applied to find the density of soil and count rate ratios of dry soil to wet soil. Independent calibrations were applied for the moisture measurements. Four curves were obtained for the soil density range of 0.5–1.5 g/cm3 by using soil standards of 2.6, 7.0, 10.6 and 16.1 wt.% water content. Direct influence of photons was measured by blocking the direct path of photons to the detector by shielding both the Cs source and the detector.  相似文献

This study applies the research of perception gap analysis to supply chain integration and develops a generic model, the 3-Level Gaps Model, with the goal of contributing to harmonization and integration in the supply chain. The model suggests that significant perception gaps may exist among supply chain members with regards to the importance of different performance criteria. The concept of the model is conceived through an empirical and inductive approach, combining the research discipline of supply chain relationship and perception gap analysis. First hand data has been collected through a survey across a key buyer in the motor insurance industry and its eight suppliers. Rigorous statistical analysis testified the research hypotheses, which in turn verified the validity and relevance of the developed 3-Level Gaps Model. The research reveals the significant existence of supply chain perception gaps at all three levels as defined, which could be the root causes to underperformed supply chain.  相似文献
