Excitation of the azimuthal surface eigenmodes with the extraordinary polarization for the ion plasma component is shown to be possible in cylindrical waveguides with metal walls, filled partially by a cold magnetoactive neon plasma. The interaction of the oscillations with the flows of alpha particles rotating around the plasma column in a narrow layer that separates the plasma from the waveguide walls is studied. If the external magnetic field is strong enough, the resonance interaction of the beam with the waves can be realized for three minimum values of the azimuthal mode number when the wave frequency normalized by neon ion cyclotron frequency is close to the factor of five (m Ne/m He ≈ 5).  相似文献

The structural transformation of a molecular complex (MC) of polyoxyethylene and urea on cooling from the molten state has been investigated by DSC and X-ray analysis. A high-temperature polymorphic from of the MC was found to be formed, which transforms into the known crystal form of the MC with a hexagonal crystal modification on cooling.  相似文献

This paper describes the design and operation of the Falcon ion source. It is based on conventional design of anode layer thrusters. This ion source is a versatile, compact, affordable, and highly functional in the research field of the fusion materials. The reversed magnetic field configuration of the source allows precise focusing of the ion beam into small spot of ≈3 mm and also provides the limited capabilities for impurity mass-separation. As the result, the source generates steady-state ion beam, which irradiates surface with high heat (0.3 - 21 MW m(-2)) and particle fluxes (4 × 10(21) - 3 × 10(23) m(-2)s(-1)), which approaches the upper limit for the flux range expected in ITER.  相似文献
