Modern HTR designs in Germany like the HTR-Module and the HTR 500, rely on 30 years of research and development, on more than 20 years of successful AVR operation and testing, and on the experience gained from THTR. Due to this broad developing program, HTR technology in Germany has reached a high level of maturity. Nevertheless, as in any other technical area the development is going on steadily: novel materials and techniques, higher general safety requirements, and the advanced reactor designs inspire and require additional investigations. With regard to the components and systems, the work is concentrated on simpler and more economical solutions. In the safety field it is necessary to achieve a quality for the proofs sufficiently high for licensing procedures and a clear demonstration of the key safety features.  相似文献

Microscopic studies on non-pressed chips glued with polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and on some particleboard cross-sections showed that due to its good wetting properties this glue effects a good thin-layer spread on the surface of the wooden chips. Due to capillar action MDI completely penetrates cracks in the chips. Moreover, there was evidence that MDI is capable of penetrating the cell walls. Particleoboard cross-sections showed that most of the earlywood portion in chip mixes was evidently completely saturated with MDI.  相似文献

The aim of this article is the study of the potential relationships between PAHs contamination, physicochemical parameters, and microbial activity in industrial soils. The research was based on two series of measurements. The first was conducted in June 2013 and the second in November 2013. Samples used in study were collected from the area of fuel handling and a loading station, located in the Silesia region of Poland. All collected samples were characterized by the following analytical procedures: PAHs content analysis, the basic physical and chemical parameters determinations (pH, CEC, humic acids content, TC, TN, TP) and microbial activity analysis. The obtained results were also subjected to statistical analysis, based on the Pearson's correlation coefficient calculations.

Results collected during described above procedure show that: the PAHs content was highly positively correlated with C and N contents (p < 0.001) and moderately correlated with humic acids and P contents (p < 0.01). This phenomenon confirms the thesis that the increase of soil organic matter content promotes accumulation of hydrophobic organic compounds such as PAHs. Microbiological analysis shows that bacteria from the mesophilic group are most resistant to PAHs contamination. This information indicates that the organisms belonging to this group should be considered as potentially useful in the soil bioremediation processes.  相似文献

In sickness-conditioned learning, animals become ill after sampling a new substance and develop an aversion that is expressed as avoidance of that substance in subsequent presentations. We examined the parameters of a one-trial, nongustatory, sickness-conditioned learning task in day-old chicks. Chicks pecked a bead and were made ill by i.p. injection of lithium chloride (LiCl). Both 0.5 and 1.0 M LiCl (0.1 ml) produced reliable avoidance at test. Chicks injected with LiCl between 15 and 45 min after training avoided the bead at test, whereas those injected within 5 or 10 min or more than 45 min after training did not. Avoidance was present until 24 h posttraining and absent after 48 h. Therefore, robust learning of the sickness-conditioned learning task occurs in one trial without the need for gustatory cues, and memory for the task lasts at least 24 h. Uses of this task to study memory formation in the day-old chick are discussed.  相似文献
