Temperature Dependence of the Magnetic Properties of Amorphous Fe-Me-Si-B Alloys

Alloying of amorphous Fe-Me-Si-B metallic compositions with nickel and molybdenum results in a decrease in the values of saturation magnetization in fields with a magnetic intensity of 0.72 MA/m. The same alloying additions decrease the temperature of formation of new magnetic Fe₃B-type phases, which are stable up to 873 ± 5 K.

Inhibition-Based Protection of the Surface of an Amorphous Alloy after Heat Treatment

By various physicochemical methods, we establish a direct relationship between the corrosion parameters, adsorption of components of the medium, and crystallization of the surface layers of Fe_75.8Ni_1.0Mo_0.5Si_6.0B_14.0 amorphous metallic alloy depending on the temperature of pretreatment of the alloy. We show that the corrosion resistance of the alloy decreases with increase in the temperature of preliminary annealing.
