The use of field robots can greatly decrease the amount of time, effort, and associated risk compared to if human workers were to carryout certain tasks such as disaster response. However, transportability and reliability remain two main issues for most current robot systems. To address the issue of transportability, we have developed a lightweight modularizable platform named AeroArm. To address the issue of reliability, we utilize a multimodal sensing approach, combining the use of multiple sensors and sensor types, and the use of different detection algorithms, as well as active continuous closed‐loop feedback to accurately estimate the state of the robot with respect to the environment. We used Challenge 2 of the 2017 Mohammed Bin Zayed International Robotics Competition as an example outdoor manipulation task, demonstrating the capabilities of our robot system and approach in achieving reliable performance in the fields, and ranked fifth place internationally in the competition.  相似文献

The Co/MFI(SiO2/Al2O3 = 30) were prepared by a precipitation method with NaOCl in alkali solutions exhibited high activities to N2 at 250 °C for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx. These catalysts showed two UV–vis bands at 700 and 400 nm, indicating the presence of octahedral Co(III) as well as tetrahedral Co(II). The high SCR activity over such Co(III, II)/MFI(30) seems to come from Co(III)---O moieties. The Co(II)MFI(30) catalysts prepared from Co(II)Cl2 exhibited low SCR activities due to the presence of tetrahedral Co(II) ions in MFI. Less CO formation occurred over Co/MFI catalysts. The Fe/MFI(30) catalyst exhibited high activity due to the presence of some Fe---O species in MFI but more amount of CO were produced during SCR. H/MFI(30) catalyst exhibited a good SCR activity. However, more amount of carbonaceous deposits were produced on it. The correlation between acid concentration and SCR activity was discussed over H/MFIs.  相似文献

We report on DC and microwave characteristics for high electron-mobility transistors (HEMT's) grown on Si substrates by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). Threshold voltage (V th) distribution in a 3-in wafer shows standard deviation of Vth (σVth) of 36 mV with Vth of -2.41 V for depletion mode HEMT's/Si and σVth of 31 mV with Vth of 0.01 V for enhancement mode, respectively. The evaluation of Vth in a 1.95×1.9 mm2 area shows high uniformity for as-grown HEMT's/Si with σVth of 9 mV for Vth of -0.10 V, which is comparable to that for HEMT's/GaAs. Comparing the Vth distribution pattern in the area with that for annealed HEMT's/Si, it is indicated that the high uniformity of Vth is obtained irrelevant of a number of the dislocations existing in the GaAs/Si. From microwave characteristic evaluation for HEMT's with a middle-(10~50 Ω·cm) and a high-(2000~6000 Ω·cm) resistivity Si substrate using a new equivalent circuit model, it is demonstrated that HEMT's/Si have the disadvantage for parasitic capacitances and resistances originated not from the substrate resistivity but from a conductive layer at the Si-GaAs interface. The parasitic parameters, especially the capacitances, can be overcome by the reduction of electrode areas for bonding pads and by the insertion of a dielectric layer under the electrode, which bring high cut-off frequency (fT) and maximum frequency of operation (fmax) of 24 GHz for a gate length of 0.8 (μm). These results indicate that HEMT's/Si are sufficiently applicable for IC's and discrete devices and have a potential to be substituted for HEMT's/GaAs  相似文献

The effect of largest follicle aspiration or hCG administration before induction of superovulation on the ovarian response of Japanese Black beef cows was investigated using a crossover design in which induction of superovulation was attempted in every cow. The superovulatory response of cows whose largest follicle had been aspirated from the ovaries by ultrasound-guided follicular aspiration 1 day before induction of superovulation, did not differ from the response in non-treated control cows. In contrast, in cows given 5,000 IU of hCG 3 days before induction of superovulation, the proportions of fertilized ova and transferable embryos significantly decreased compared with the other groups.  相似文献

We have measured frequencies of N2O transitions by heterodyning sub-Doppler fluorescence-stabilized N2O laser radiation with that from a reference CO2 laser. A high-resolution cavity incorporates a ribbed tube and a highly reflective grating, permitting the CW oscillation of both the 100 0-0200 9-μm and the 1000-0001 10-μm regular bands. This is the first sub-Doppler frequency measurement of the 9-μm band. The accuracy in the determination of the rotational constants for both bands has been improved by an order of magnitude, and calculated transition frequencies are presented  相似文献

In this paper we present a master–worker type parallel method for finding several eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a generalized eigenvalue problem , where A and B are large sparse matrices. A moment-based method that finds all of the eigenvalues that lie inside a given domain is used. In this method, a small matrix pencil that has only the desired eigenvalues is derived by solving large sparse systems of linear equations constructed from A and B. Since these equations can be solved independently, we solve them on remote servers in parallel. This approach is suitable for master–worker programming models. We have implemented and tested the proposed method in a grid environment using a grid RPC (remote procedure call) system called OmniRPC. The performance of the method on PC clusters that were used over a wide-area network was evaluated.  相似文献

Single-atom (SA) catalysts exhibit high activity in various reactions because there are no inactive internal atoms. Accordingly, SA cocatalysts are also an active research fields regarding photocatalytic hydrogen (H2) evolution which can be generated by abundant water and sunlight. Herein, it is investigated whether 10 transition metal elements can work as an SA on graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4; i.e., gCN), a promising visible-light-driven photocatalyst. A method is established to prepare SA-loaded gCN at high loadings (weight of ≈3 wt.% for Cu, Ni, Pd, Pt, Rh, and Ru) by modulating the photoreduction power. Regarding Au and Ag, SAs are formed with difficulty without aggregation because of the low binding energy between gCN and the SA. An evaluation of the photocatalytic H2-evolution activity of the prepared metal SA-loaded gCN reveals that Pd, Pt, and Rh SA-loaded gCN exhibits relatively high H2-evolution efficiency per SA. Transient absorption spectroscopy and electrochemical measurements reveal the following: i) Pd SA-loaded gCN exhibits a particularly suitable electronic structure for proton adsorption and ii) therefore they exhibit the highest H2-evolution efficiency per SA than other metal SA-loaded gCN. Finally, the 8.6 times higher H2-evolution rate per active site of Pd SA is achieved than that of Pd-nanoparticles cocatalyst.  相似文献

We previously developed chitosan cryogels from chitosan-gluconic acid conjugate without using toxic additives for wound care. In this study, we improved physiological characteristics of the previous cryogels by incorporating poly(vinyl alcohol) that also form cryogels. Mechanical strength of the cryogels was more than two times higher than that of the previous cryogels. Furthermore, the incorporation of poly(vinyl alcohol) enhanced water retention and resistance to degradation of the gels by lysozyme. The cryogels retained the favorable biological properties of the previous cryogels that they accelerate infiltration of inflammatory cells into wound sites. Time period for repairing 50 % of initial area of partial-thickness skin wound treated with the cryogels (4.0 ± 1.1 days) was shorter than those with gauze (6.5 ± 0.3 days) or a commercial hydrogel dressing (5.7 ± 0.3 days). Finally, we confirmed that incorporation of basic fibroblast growth factor into the cryogels was effective to further accelerate wound healing (2.7 ± 1.0 days). These results demonstrate that the cryogels in this study are promising for wound care.  相似文献

Photopharmacology has attracted research attention as a new tool for achieving optical control of biomolecules, following the methods of caged compounds and optogenetics. We have developed an efficient photopharmacological inhibitor—azoMTX—for Escherichia coli dihydrofolate reductase (eDHFR) by replacing some atoms of the original ligand, methotrexate, to achieve photoisomerization properties. This fine molecular design enabled quick structural conversion between the active “bent” Z isomer of azoMTX and the inactive “extended” E isomer, and this property afforded quantitative control over the enzyme activity, depending on the wavelength of irradiating light applied. Real-time photoreversible control over enzyme activity was also achieved.  相似文献
