This paper presents original research results of automatic polishing on curved surfaces of aluminium alloy moulds at constant pressure. The automatic polishing of aluminium alloy material is achieved. A parameter S is defined, which can express the comprehensive influential factors in the automatic polishing process and give a relationship among the polishing quality and the various machining variables. Based on this, a new method for comprehensive control of polishing quality is suggested.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Uterine endometrial stromal sarcoma is a rare neoplasm with a morphology that closely resembles that of the proliferative endometrial stroma. To understand its pathologic characteristics, we established a novel cell line, MaMi, from a primary culture of an endometrial stromal sarcoma obtained from a 65-year-old Japanese woman. METHODS: We observed the morphology of MaMi cells and performed immunohistochemical analysis on the primary tumor and transplants in nude mice. Prolactin, insulin-like growth factor-binding protein-1, interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, intercellular adhesion molecule-1, E-selectin, vascular cell adhesion molecule-1, and fibronectin production in the culture medium of MaMi cells were also examined. RESULTS: MaMi cells were shown to exhibit a fibroblast-like morphology in vitro, and they adopted a more elongated appearance in response to 12-O-tetradecanoyl phorbol-13-acetate (TPA). On injection into nude mice, the cells gave rise to subcutaneous tumors. Immunohistologically, both the primary tumor and MaMi cell-induced tumors stained positively with antibodies to neuron-specific enolase or vimentin. MaMi cells constitutively produced IL-6, IL-8, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 in vitro. Interleukin-1beta, (100 pmol/L), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (1 nmol/L), and lipopolysaccharide (1 microg/mL) each increased the release of IL-6, IL-8, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 by MaMi cells. TPA (10 nmol/L) also stimulated the production of IL-6 and IL-8 by these cells, but inhibited that of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1. CONCLUSIONS: We demonstrated that MaMi cells closely resemble proliferative endometrial stromal cells not only morphologically, but also functionally. This cell line may prove valuable in understanding the role of cytokines produced by tumor cells in the pathogenesis of endometrial stromal sarcoma and may also be useful as an in vitro model of functioning endometrial stromal cells.  相似文献

We consider robustness analysis of heterogeneous and homogeneous networked systems based on integral quadratic constraints (IQCs). First, we show how the analysis decomposes into lower dimensional problems if the interconnection structure is exploited. This generally leads to a significant reduction of the computational complexity. Secondly, by considering a set of IQCs that characterizes the eigenvalues of the interconnection matrices of symmetrically networked systems, we derive a Popov-like criterion for such systems. In particular, when the nodes of the networked system are single-input–single-output linear time-invariant operators, the criterion can be illustrated using a generalized Popov plot. In such cases, the Popov criterion is also a necessary condition in the sense that if the criterion is violated then a destabilizing network with the specified eigenvalue distribution can be constructed.  相似文献

The effect of polymer chain structure on the optical and electrical properties are reported for poly(4-diphenylaminostyrene) (PDAS), which was prepared by the living anionic polymerization of 4-diphenylaminostyrene (DAS) with the benzyllithium (BzLi)/N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA) system. The optical properties of PDAS are strongly affected by the stereoregularity of the PDAS polymer chain; intramolecular excimer-forming fluorescence was observed from PDAS with a syndiotactic-rich configuration. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy levels of PDAS were approximately −5.4 and −2.0 eV, respectively, regardless of the polymer chain structure. The hole and electron drift mobilities for PDAS were in the order of 10−4 to 10−5 (cm2/V s) and 10−5 (cm2/V s), respectively, with negative slopes. The distance of each triphenylamino (TPA) group in the polymer chain was a major factor influencing the drift mobility of PDAS. The current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of PDAS were controllable according to the polymer chain structure of PDAS.  相似文献

The reactivity of three types of quinones (3,4,5,6‐tetrachloro‐1,2‐(o‐)‐benzoquinone (TOQ), 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐1,4‐benzoquinone (DDQ), and 2,3,5,6,‐tetrachloro‐1,4‐(p‐)‐benzoquinone (TCQ)) was examined for the dehydrogenation of poly(1,3‐cycohexadiene) (PCHD) composed of 1,2‐cyclohexadiene and 1,4‐cyclohexadiene units. The order of reactivity was TOQ > DDQ > TCQ. The steric hindrance of C?O groups in the quinones appeared to be an important factor in determining their reactivity. DDQ was found to be an appropriate dehydrogenation reagent for PCHD. The reactivity of TCQ was considerably low for PCHD containing 1,2‐cyclohexadiene units. OBJECTIVE: Maternal smoking in pregnancy is associated with a significant increase in the incidence of preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, and premature delivery. Our aim was to clarify the cause underlying this association. STUDY DESIGN: The effect of cigarette smoke extract on the secretion of platelet-activating factor-acetylhydrolase by both decidual macrophages and peripheral blood monocytes and macrophages was investigated. RESULTS: The cigarette smoke extract inhibited the platelet-activating factor-acetylhydrolase secretion by these cells. The inhibitory effect of cigarette smoke extract on the secretion was a hundred times more potent compared with its direct effect on the plasma enzyme. Glutathione and dithiothreitol blocked the inhibition, whereas catalase or superoxide dismutase did not. Nicotine and cotinine have no effect on the secretion. CONCLUSION: The presence in cigarette smoke extract of a potent inhibitor(s) of platelet-activating factor-acetylhydrolase secretion by decidual macrophages may provide an insight into the pathogenesis of preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, and premature delivery in women who smoke during pregnancy.  相似文献

Sequence distribution of styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBR) was investigated by ozonolysis-g.p.c. All the double bonds of butadiene units in SBR were cleaved by ozonolysis in methylene chloride at ?30°C, followed by reduction degradation to alcohol with lithium aluminium hydride. The g.p.c. of the ozonolysis products observed with a u.v.-detector showed the peaks corresponding to styrene sequences and styrene-1,2 sequences. Hot- and cold-emulsion SBR samples contained short sequences consisting of 1 to 4 styrene units and 1,2 styrene units respectively. The average sequence length of cold-emulsion SBR was slightly longer than that of hot-emulsion SBR. A partial block SBR prepared by solution polymerization contained short styrene sequences of 1 to 5 units and long sequences having a broad distribution of MwMn = 1.6 with the maximum around 35 units. The styrene sequences containing the 1,2 unit was scarcely observed in this sample.  相似文献

The 13C n.m.r. spectra of chicle polyisoprene and cis-trans isomerized 1, 4-polyisoprenes were studied. The splittings of signals were observed in the C1, C2, and C4 carbon signals of the isomerized polyisoprenes. The newly appearing signals were assigned to the carbon atoms in cis-trans linkages. The fractions of the diad sequences (trans-trans, trans-cis, cis-trans, and cis-cis) were determined by using the four signals of C1 carbon. It was found that the cis-1, 4- and trans-1, 4-units were randomly distributed in the isomerized polyisoprenes and it was confirmed that the chicle polyisoprene was a mixture of cis-1, 4- and trans-1, 4-polyisoprenes.  相似文献

Despite the intrinsic elemental analysis capability and lack of sample preparation requirements, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) has not been extensively used for real-world applications, e.g., quality assurance and process monitoring. Specifically, variability in sample, system, and experimental parameters in LIBS studies present a substantive hurdle for robust classification, even when standard multivariate chemometric techniques are used for analysis. Considering pharmaceutical sample investigation as an example, we propose the use of support vector machines (SVM) as a nonlinear classification method over conventional linear techniques such as soft independent modeling of class analogy (SIMCA) and partial least-squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) for discrimination based on LIBS measurements. Using over-the-counter pharmaceutical samples, we demonstrate that the application of SVM enables statistically significant improvements in prospective classification accuracy (sensitivity), because of its ability to address variability in LIBS sample ablation and plasma self-absorption behavior. Furthermore, our results reveal that SVM provides nearly 10% improvement in correct allocation rate and a concomitant reduction in misclassification rates of 75% (cf. PLS-DA) and 80% (cf. SIMCA)-when measurements from samples not included in the training set are incorporated in the test data-highlighting its robustness. While further studies on a wider matrix of sample types performed using different LIBS systems is needed to fully characterize the capability of SVM to provide superior predictions, we anticipate that the improved sensitivity and robustness observed here will facilitate application of the proposed LIBS-SVM toolbox for screening drugs and detecting counterfeit samples, as well as in related areas of forensic and biological sample analysis.  相似文献

Sample-to-sample variability has proven to be a major challenge in achieving calibration transfer in quantitative biological Raman spectroscopy. Multiple morphological and optical parameters, such as tissue absorption and scattering, physiological glucose dynamics and skin heterogeneity, vary significantly in a human population introducing nonanalyte specific features into the calibration model. In this paper, we show that fluctuations of such parameters in human subjects introduce curved (nonlinear) effects in the relationship between the concentrations of the analyte of interest and the mixture Raman spectra. To account for these curved effects, we propose the use of support vector machines (SVM) as a nonlinear regression method over conventional linear regression techniques such as partial least-squares (PLS). Using transcutaneous blood glucose detection as an example, we demonstrate that application of SVM enables a significant improvement (at least 30%) in cross-validation accuracy over PLS when measurements from multiple human volunteers are employed in the calibration set. Furthermore, using physical tissue models with randomized analyte concentrations and varying turbidities, we show that the fluctuations in turbidity alone causes curved effects which can only be adequately modeled using nonlinear regression techniques. The enhanced levels of accuracy obtained with the SVM based calibration models opens up avenues for prospective prediction in humans and thus for clinical translation of the technology.  相似文献
