The paper describes an analysis of reliability of railway traffic personnel. The human tasks critical to system safety are identified. Human error probability is chosen as a measure of human reliability in performing these tasks. The probabilities of some critical errors are estimated using the field data collected in the Slovenian railway traffic system. As stress conditions strongly affect the human performance, a simple model of the dependence of human error probability on stress levels is proposed.  相似文献

In the field of humidity quantities, the first CIPM key comparison, CCT-K6 is at its end. The corresponding European regional key comparison, EUROMET.T-K6, was completed in early 2008, about 4?years after the starting initial measurements in the project. In total, 24 NMIs from different countries took part in the comparison. This number includes 22 EURAMET countries, and Russia and South Africa. The comparison covered the dew-point temperature range from ?50?°C to +20?°C. It was carried out in three parallel loops, each with two chilled mirror hygrometers as transfer standards in each loop. The comparison scheme was designed to ensure high quality results with evenly spread workload for the participants. It is shown that the standard uncertainty due to the long-term instability was smaller than 0.008?°C in all loops. The standard uncertainties due to links between the loops were found to be smaller than 0.025?°C at ?50?°C and 0.010?°C elsewhere. Conclusions on the equivalence of the dew-point temperature standards are drawn on the basis of calculated bilateral degrees of equivalence and deviations from the EURAMET comparison reference values (ERV). Taking into account 16 different primary dew-point realizations and 8 secondary realizations, the results demonstrate the equivalence of a large number of laboratories at an uncertainty level that is better than achieved in other multilateral comparisons so far in the humidity field.  相似文献

A European research project METefnet addresses a fundamental obstacle to improving energy-intensive drying process control: due to ambiguous reference analysis methods and insufficient methods for estimating uncertainty in moisture measurements, the achievable accuracy in the past was limited and measurement uncertainties were largely unknown. This paper reports the developments in METefnet that provide a sound basis for the SI traceability: four new primary standards for realizing the water mass fraction were set up, analyzed and compared to each other. The operation of these standards is based on combining sample weighing with different water vapor detection techniques: cold trap, chilled mirror, electrolytic and coulometric Karl Fischer titration. The results show that an equivalence of 0.2 % has been achieved between the water mass fraction realizations and that the developed methods are applicable to a wide range of materials.  相似文献

The measurement of the water-vapor permeation rate (WVPR) through materials is very important in many industrial applications such as the development of new fabrics and construction materials, in the semiconductor industry, packaging, vacuum techniques, etc. The demand for this kind of measurement grows considerably and thus many different methods for measuring the WVPR are developed and standardized within numerous national and international standards. However, comparison of existing methods shows a low level of mutual agreement. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the necessary uncertainty evaluation for WVPR measurements, so as to provide a basis for development of a corresponding reference measurement standard. This paper presents a specially developed measurement setup, which employs a precision dew-point sensor for WVPR measurements on specimens of different shapes. The paper also presents a physical model, which tries to account for both dynamic and quasi-static methods, the common types of WVPR measurements referred to in standards and scientific publications. An uncertainty evaluation carried out according to the ISO/IEC guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement (GUM) shows the relative expanded (k = 2) uncertainty to be 3.0 % for WVPR of 6.71 mg . h?1 (corresponding to permeance of 30.4 mg . m?2. day?1 . hPa?1).  相似文献

Traceability in the field of relative humidity (RH) measurements is typically assured indirectly through dew point and temperature scales. Conducting an inter-laboratory comparison at the national metrology institute (NMI) level, using a direct approach with a precision RH hygrometer as a transfer standard would, therefore, be of a particular interest, especially if the measurement setups were of a different type. This paper presents an RH comparison at the NMI level between the National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) and University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Laboratory of Metrology and Quality (MIRS/UL-FE/LMK). In scope of this inter-comparison, calibration of an impedance-type hygrometer in the range from 10 %rh to 95 %rh at air temperatures of \(5\,^\circ \hbox {C}\) , \(25\,^\circ \hbox {C}\) , and \(55\,^\circ \hbox {C}\) , respectively, was performed. It was recommended that the participants use their standard procedure for the calibration of RH sensors and, at the same time, follow the specific criteria of the review protocol for uncertainty estimation accepted by Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM), marked as BIPM CCT-WG8/CMC-10. An interesting part of the comparison was the two different calibration methods which were used by the two partners and which also have different traceability routes. MIRS/UL-FE/LMK calibrated the sensor in the humidity generator by comparison against the reference chilled mirror hygrometer, which is traceable to the MIRS/UL-FE/LMK primary dew-point generator. NMISA calibrated the transfer standard against certified salt solutions, which were kept in a temperature-controlled chamber. Glioblastoma (GBM), the most common primary brain tumor, is a complex and extremely aggressive disease. Despite recent advances in molecular biology, there is a lack of biomarkers, which would improve GBM’s diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy. Here, we analyzed by qPCR the expression levels of a set of miRNAs in GBM and lower-grade glioma human tissue samples and performed a survival analysis in silico. We then determined the expression of same miRNAs and their selected target mRNAs in small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) of GBM cell lines. We showed that the expression of miR-21-5p was significantly increased in GBM tissue compared to lower-grade glioma and reference brain tissue, while miR-124-3p and miR-138-5p were overexpressed in reference brain tissue compared to GBM. We also demonstrated that miR-9-5p and miR-124-3p were overexpressed in the sEVs of GBM stem cell lines (NCH421k or NCH644, respectively) compared to the sEVs of all other GBM cell lines and astrocytes. VIM mRNA, a target of miR-124-3p and miR-138-5p, was overexpressed in the sEVs of U251 and U87 GBM cell lines compared to the sEVs of GBM stem cell line and also astrocytes. Our results suggest VIM mRNA, miR-9-5p miRNA, and miR-124-3p miRNA could serve as biomarkers of the sEVs of GBM cells.  相似文献

In the field of hygrometry, a primary dew-point standard can be realized according to several proven principles, such as single-pressure (1-P), two-pressure (2-P), or divided flow. Different realizations have been introduced by various national laboratories, each resulting in a stand-alone complex generation system. Recent trends in generator design favor the single-pressure principle without recirculation because it promises theoretically lower uncertainty and because it avoids problems regarding the leak tightness of the recirculation. Instead of recirculation, the efficiency of saturation, the key factor, is increased by preconditioning the inlet gas entering the saturator. For preconditioning, a presaturator or purifier is used to bring the dew point of the inlet stream close to the saturator temperature. The purpose of the paper is to identify the minimum requirements for the preconditioning system and the main saturator to assure efficient saturation for the LMK generator. Moreover, the aim is also to find out if the preconditioning system can be avoided despite the rather simple construction of the main saturator. If this proves to be the case, the generator design can be simplified while maintaining an accurate value of the generated dew point. Experiments were carried out within the scope of improving our existing primary generator in the above-ambient dew-point range up to +70°C. These results show the generated dew point is within the measurement uncertainty for any dew-point value of the inlet gas. Thus, the preconditioning subsystem can be avoided, which leads to a simplified generator design.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of joint optimization of "preventive maintenance" and "spare-provisioning policy" for system components subject to wear-out failures. A stochastic mathematical model is developed to determine the jointly optimal "block replacement" and "periodic review spare-provisioning policy." The objective function of the model represents the s-expected total cost of system maintenance per unit time, while the preventive replacement interval and the maximal inventory level are chosen as the decision variables. The objective function of the model is in an analytic form with parameters easily obtainable from field data. The model has been tested using field data on electric locomotives in Slovenian Railways. The calculated optimal values of the model decision variables are realistic. "Sensitivity analysis of the model" shows that the model is relatively insensitive to moderate changes of the parameter values. The results of testing and of sensitivity analysis of the model prove that a trade-off exists between the replacement related cost and the inventory related cost. The jointly optimal preventive replacement interval defined by this model differs appreciably from the corresponding interval determined by the conventional model where only replacement related costs are considered. Also, the results of the sensitivity analysis show that even minor modification of the value of each model decision variable (without the appropriate adjustment of the value of the other decision variable) can lead to important increase of the s-expected total cost of system maintenance. This indicates that separate optimization of preventive maintenance policy and spare-provisioning policy does not ensure minimal total cost of system maintenance. This model can be readily applied to optimize maintenance procedures for a variety of industrial systems, and to upgrade maintenance policy in situations where block replacement preventive maintenance is already in use.  相似文献

This paper discusses human errors in a man-machine system with the dependence on different stresses. A method is presented for defining ranges of normal stress values, based on the construction of the membership function from the fuzzy set theory. This method is applied to a stress analysis for a sample of station foremen in the railway traffic system of Slovenia. The results of this analysis are given.  相似文献
