This paper deals with propagation of Love type waves in a Piezomagnetic layer with corrugated boundaries overlying an inhomogeneous half-space. Inhomogeneity of elastic half-space is caused due to exponential variations in elastic parameters. Dispersion relations are obtained for magnetically open and short cases. Prominent effects of inhomogeneity, layer's width and corrugation on the phase velocity of considered wave are illustrated through graphs. Some particular cases are derived and exhibited through graphs. Also the influence of undulation parameter, elastic parameter, and piezomagnetic coefficient on phase velocity of considered wave has been marked separately. The present study finds its applications in designing and optimization of Love wave sensors and Seismic Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices. Findings may also be used for analytical study of wave propagation in piezomagnetic coupled structures. 相似文献

General Atomics in the USA and Experimental Design Bureau of Machine Building (OKBM) in the Russian Federation have jointly developed a nuclear power plant design, the gas turbine modular helium reactor (GT-MHR). There have been considerable improvements during the last 10 years, which resulted in a more effective, efficient and safe design. The existing design is based on a 600 MW(t) reactor cooled by helium at a pressure of about 7 MPa. The power conversion unit (PCU) uses reactor outlet helium with a temperature of 850 °C in a direct Brayton cycle to achieve the cycle efficiency of about 48%. The PCU consists of a gas turbine, a recuperator, a precooler, low-pressure and high-pressure compressors, an intercooler, and a generator. The turbomachine (TM) includes the turbine, compressors and generator mounted on a single vertical shaft. TM shaft rotation speed is 4400 rpm. The shaft of generator is connected to the turbine shaft by a flexible coupling. The required grid frequency of generated electricity is achieved by a converter. All PCU components are enclosed in a single vessel. TM uses radial and axial electromagnetic bearings (EMB) for support. Catcher bearings (CB) are provided as redundant support for the TM rotor in case of EMBs failure. Several alternative PCU designs were analyzed on the basis of current progress in technologies, new world experience, and experience accumulated in the process of GT-MHR design development. Diabetes mellitus is most common disorder characterize by hyperglycemia. Chronic hyperglycemia may lead to over production of free radicals thereby results in oxidative stress which impaired healing of wounds. Ferulic acid (FA) has been shown to have antidiabetic and antioxidant properties. The aim of the present study was to develop Ferulic acid nanoparticles and to study its hypoglycemic and wound healing activities. Ferulic acid-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (FA-PLGA) nanoparticles were prepared by nano precipitation method. The prepared FA-PLGA nanoparticles had an average size of 240?nm. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis showed the prepared FA-PLGA nanoparticles were spherical in shape. Drug encapsulation assay showed that 88.49% FA was encapsulated in PLGA. Carbopol 980 was used to formulate FA-PLGA nanoparticles loaded hydrogel. FA-loaded polymeric nanoparticles dispersion (oral administration) and FA-loaded polymeric nanoparticles based hydrogel (topical administration) treated wounds were found to epithelize faster as compared with diabetic wound control group. The hydroxyproline content increased significantly when compared with diabetic wound control. Therefore, the results indicate that FA significantly promotes wound healing in diabetic rats. 相似文献

Ni–W–MoS2 composite coatings were obtained by pulse plating from a Ni–W electrolyte containing suspended MoS2 particles. The coating composition, morphology, crystalline structure, microhardness and frictional behavior were studied as a function of MoS2 concentration. The results obtained in this study indicate that co-deposited lubricant particles strongly influenced the composite Ni–W coating properties. It was found that increasing co-deposited MoS2 diminished tungsten content in the coating and consequently increased the average grain size. Ni–W nanostructured coatings with high MoS2 content have a porous sponge-like structure, high surface roughness and irregular frictional behavior. However, the friction coefficient of Ni–W coatings is reduced to half its value with low MoS2 content. 相似文献

Frequently, in developing a discriminant function one strives to increase the probability of correct classification. However,
this probability reflects two components, viz., the probability of correct classification of known arson structures and the
probability of correct classification of known nonarson structures. Even if the overall probability of correct classification
is high, it does not necessarily imply, as the illustrations of Boston and New York City indicate, that the resulting discriminant
function is also efficient in the sense that more arson cases are correctly classified than the nonarson cases. To this end,
a procedure has been suggested to compute the cost of the wrong decision for a discriminant function which can be used to
compare the cost of two similar types of discriminant functions. Using the relative cost efficiency criterion, it has been
shown that the discriminant function for Newark is more efficient than the discriminant function for either Boston or New
York City.
