Experiments have been carried out to evaluate the onset of wrinkling behaviour in three grades of annealed commercial aluminium sheets namely ISS 19000, ISS 19600 and ISS 19660 having thickness 2.00 mm, while drawing them through a conical die. The deep drawing of circular blanks of different diameters of the aforesaid sheet metals was carried out using flat bottom punch. The analysis of the experimental data has revealed that the onset of wrinkling takes place when the ratio of the plastic strain increments (dεr/dεθ) reached a critical value. It was further found that the measured strains followed non-linear paths in the wrinkling limit diagrams. Further, it was observed that the aluminium grade having high strain hardening index value, low yield stress and high normalized hardening rate shows better resistance against wrinkling. Furnace cooled aluminium grades showed better resistance against wrinkling compared with air cooled blanks.  相似文献

We present HamleDT—a HArmonized Multi-LanguagE Dependency Treebank. HamleDT is a compilation of existing dependency treebanks (or dependency conversions of other treebanks), transformed so that they all conform to the same annotation style. In the present article, we provide a thorough investigation and discussion of a number of phenomena that are comparable across languages, though their annotation in treebanks often differs. We claim that transformation procedures can be designed to automatically identify most such phenomena and convert them to a unified annotation style. This unification is beneficial both to comparative corpus linguistics and to machine learning of syntactic parsing.  相似文献

Certain low grade phosphate rocks have low agronomic value as direct applied fertilizers and make poor quality superphosphates. With some rocks there is potential to increase their solubility in soils and hence the fertilizer value by mixing with finely divided elemental sulphur (S°). The agronomic value of a prototype low cost, granular P and S fertilizer, Christmas Island Grade C phosphate rock/elemental sulphur (Xmas C/S°), was compared against single superphosphate (SSP) and reactive phosphate rock (RPR)/S° dry blends, North Carolina phosphate rock/S° (NCPR/S°) and NCPR/50% S-super (granular SSP + 44% S°). An eight- month glasshouse trial using ryegrass (Lolium perenne L. cv. Nui), grown in a central yellow-grey earth (Aeric Fragiaqualf), indicated that fertilization with Xmas C/S° produced dry matter yields, between 54 to 73% and 10 to 40% lower than SSP and NCPR/S° blends respectively, and lower plant P and S uptake. Fertilization with Xmas C/S° however produced significantly higher yield and P and S uptake than unfertilized pots and pots receiving Xmas C PR and S° alone. The two RPR/S° dry blends, namely NCPR/S° and NCPR/50% S-super, produced significantly lower yield and P and S uptake than the same two fertilizers granulated with water. The difference in yields and P and S uptake between blends and granulated forms increased with time. The recovery of fertilizer P and S by plants ranged from 3 to 35% and 2 to 45% respectively with the lowest recoveries for Xmas C PR alone and S° alone and the highest for SSP and SSP + S°. During the period of plant growth the percentage of S° oxidised from the S°, Xmas C/S° co-granule, NCPR/S° physical blend and NCPR/S° granular treatments were 37, 32, 32 and 45% respectively. Field evaluations, or use, of the co-granule should consider it's slow P and S release rates.  相似文献

This article presents a novel method to improve the measurement sensitivity and reduce impact forces in tapping-mode atomic force microscopy by reshaping the tip trajectory. A tapping drive signal composed of two harmonics is used to generate an oscillating trajectory with a broader valley compared to the typical sinusoidal trajectory. The wide broad valley reduces the velocity of the tip in the vicinity of the sample and allots a greater portion of each period in the vicinity of the sample. Numerical simulations show that this results in decreased impact force and increased sensitivity of the cantilever oscillation to changes in tip-sample offset. Experimental results demonstrate an increase in image sharpness and decrease in tip wear using the bi-harmonic driving signal.  相似文献

The effect of preparation method on the performance of Ni/Al2O3 catalysts for aqueous-phase reforming of ethanol (EtOH) has been investigated. The first catalyst was prepared by a sol–gel (SG) method and for the second one the Al2O3 support was made by a solution combustion synthesis (SCS) route and then the metal was loaded by standard wet impregnation. The catalytic activity of these catalysts of different Ni loading was compared with a commercial Al2O3 supported Ni catalyst [CM (10%)] at different temperatures, pressures, feed flow rates, and feed concentrations. Based on the product distribution, the proposed reaction pathway is a mixture of dehydrogenation of EtOH to CH3CHO followed by C–C bond breaking to produce CO + CH4 and oxidation of CH3CHO to CH3COOH followed by decarbonylation to CO2 + CH4. CH4(C2H6 and C3H8) also can form via Fischer–Tropsch reactions of CO/CO2 with H2. The CH4 (C2H6 and C3H8) reacts to form hydrogen and carbon monoxide through steam reforming, while CO converts to CO2 mostly through the water–gas shift reaction (WGSR). SG catalysts showed poorer WGSR activity than the SCS catalysts. The activation energies for H2 and CO2 production were 153, 155 and 167 kJ/mol and 158, 160 and 169 kJ/mol for SCS (10%), SG (10%), and CM (10%) samples, respectively.  相似文献

Urban stormwater runoff, which consists of inorganic and organic contaminants, is a major source of pollutants to receiving waters and therefore they need to be removed. Simultaneous removal of contaminants, Cd2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+ (heavy metal cations), and SeO42− (oxyanion) from a simulated stormwater by a hydrous ferric oxide (HFO) was studied in batch and column sorption experiments. In the batch experiment the rate of sorption of the ions was rapid at the beginning and reached equilibrium in approximately 300 min. The amounts of ions sorbed were proportionate to the respective initial concentration of the ions added to the HFO. Cluster analysis showed that all heavy metals had similar sorption behavior, whereas Se had a distinctly different sorption process. Of the three different kinetic models tested the pseudo-first order kinetic model fitted the data the best. The column experimental results beyond 180 min were consistent with those of the batch experiment that the removal efficiencies of the ions were in proportion to the ion concentration in the feed. Below 180 min, Cu appeared to be preferentially removed than Zn.  相似文献

Bioactive fraction of brown algae Sargassum wightii (SWE) was obtained using silica column chromatography and preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). FT-IR and LC–mass spectrometry ESI analysis revealed presence of various phlorotannins in the SWE. The IC50 value of SWE was found to be 59.91, 51.04, and 55.21 μg/ml for scavenging of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, 2,2-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid), and Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power assay, respectively. SWE inhibited angiotensin-I-converting enzyme (ACE) in mixed-type manner with IC50 value of 56.96 µg/ml and Ki value of 45 µg/ml. The dual function such as antioxidant and ACE inhibition of SWE warrants further study to understand the antihypertensive potential in vivo.  相似文献

The problem of laminar fluid flow which results from the stretching of a vertical surface with variable stream conditions in a nanofluid has been investigated numerically. The model used for the nanofluid incorporates the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis in the presence of magnetic field. The symmetry groups admitted by the corresponding boundary value problem are obtained by using a special form of Lie group transformations viz. scaling group of transformations. An exact solution is obtained for translation symmetry and numerical solutions for scaling symmetry. This solution depends on a Lewis number, magnetic field, Brownian motion parameter and thermophoretic parameter. The conclusion is drawn that the flow field and temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction profiles are significantly influenced by these parameters.  相似文献

The double-diffusive, free convective flow past a moving semi-infinite vertical cylinder has been studied numerically. The mass, momentum, energy, and species concentration equations have been solved by a finite-difference method using an implicit scheme of Crank-Nicolson type. The finite-difference scheme is unconditionally stable and accurate. Graphical results for the velocity, temperature, concentration, local and average skin friction, and Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are illustrated and discussed for various physical parametric values. Voltammetric and spectroscopic data for novel copolymers of fluoren-9-one with benzene, thiophene, and furan have been used to explore the relationship between the formal potentials and optical band gaps of conjugated polymers. It is shown that the optical band gap measured from the onset of absorption corresponds to the difference in the formal potentials for n- and p-doping. Voltammograms have been analyzed to establish how formal potentials should be defined for these and other conjugated polymers.  相似文献
