Segmentation of volumetric data is an important part of many analysis pipelines, but frequently requires manual inspection and correction. While plenty of volume editing techniques exist, it remains cumbersome and errorprone for the user to find and select appropriate regions for editing. We propose an approach to improve volume editing by detecting potential segmentation defects while considering the underlying structure of the object of interest. Our method is based on a novel histogram dissimilarity measure between individual regions, derived from structural information extracted from the initial segmentation. Based on this information, our interactive system guides the user towards potential defects, provides integrated tools for their inspection, and automatically generates suggestions for their resolution. We demonstrate that our approach can reduce interaction effort and supports the user in a comprehensive investigation for high‐quality segmentations.  相似文献

In the present work, we investigate the Dirichlet problem for a three-dimensional (3D) elliptic equation with two singular coefficients. We find four fundamental solutions of the equation, containing hypergeometric functions of Appell. Then using an “a-b-c” method, the uniqueness for the solution of the Dirichlet problem is proved. Applying a method of Green’s function, we are able to find the solution of the problem in an explicit form. Moreover, decomposition formulas, formulas of differentiation and some adjacent relations for Appell’s hypergeometric functions were used in order to find the explicit solution for the formulated problem.  相似文献

The problems of deactivation of iron oxide catalysts in the process of industrial dehydrogenation of methylbutenes to isoprene have been considered. The dependence of deactivation of the catalyst fixed bed on the time on-stream of different sections of the catalyst along the reactor height has been examined. The cause of poor performance of a part of the catalyst bed has been revealed and substantiated. Based of the results of the study, the authors propose an approach to predicting the catalyst performance during a long time on-stream.  相似文献

One dimensional (1D) nanostructures attract considerable attention, enabling a broad application owing to their unique properties. However, the precise mechanism of 1D morphology attainment remains a matter of debate. In this study, ultrafast picosecond (ps) laser-induced treatment on upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) is offered as a tool for 1D-nanostructures formation. Fragmentation, reshaping through recrystallization process and bioadaptation of initially hydrophobic (β-Na1.5Y1.5F6: Yb3+, Tm3+/β-Na1.5Y1.5F6) core/shell nanoparticles by means of one-step laser treatment in water are demonstrated. “True” 1D nanostructures through “Medusa”-like structures can be obtained, maintaining anti-Stokes luminescence functionalities. A matter of the one-dimensional UCNPs based on direction of energy migration processes is debated. The proposed laser treatment approach is suitable for fast UCNP surface modification and nano-to-nano transformation, that open unique opportunities to expand UCNP applications in industry and biomedicine.
