This paper considers time-varying uncertain constrained systems, and develops a method for computing a probabilistic output admissible (POA) set. This set consists of the initial states probabilistically assured to satisfy the constraint. The time-invariant counterpart has already been investigated in Hatanaka and Takaba [Computations of probabilistic output admissible set for uncertain constrained systems, Automatica 44 (2) (2008), to appear]. We first define the POA set for time-varying uncertainties with finite dimensional probability space. Then, we show that an algorithm similar to Hatanaka and Takaba [Computations of probabilistic output admissible set for uncertain constrained systems, Automatica 44 (2) (2008), to appear] provides the POA set also in the time-varying case, as long as an upper bound of a what we call future output admissibility (FOA) index is available. We moreover present two methods for computing the upper bound of the FOA index: probabilistic and deterministic methods. A numerical simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of our algorithm. 相似文献

Time-decay stress-induced leakage current (SILC) has been systematically investigated for the cases of both Fowler-Nordheim (FN) stress and substrate hot-hole stress. From the three viewpoints of the reproducibility of the current component for the gate voltage scan, the change of oxide charge during the gate voltage scan, and the resistance of the current component to thermal annealing, it has been found that time-decay stress-induced leakage current is composed of five current components, regardless of stress type. In order to estimate the discharge performance of tall lead/acid cells (with tubular positives), changes in current and potential distributions with discharge progress were calculated with a computer on the basis of plate resistance and the current—potential—time relationship between small facing parts of positive and negative plates. The taller the cell, the larger the voltage drop along the plates. Thus, the discharge time became shorter despite a large amount of available active mass remaining in the bottom part of the plates.Various current-collector designs were evaluated, e.g., one with varying resistance at each height; a side conductor placed along the plates and connected to them at the top, centre and bottom, etc. Results revealed an optimum collector design with which the maximum discharge capacity could be obtained. A 7-Mb BiCMOS ECL (emitter coupled logic) SRAM was fabricated in a 0.8 μm BiCMOS process. An improved buffer with a high-level output of nearly V CC is adopted to eliminate the DC current in the level converter circuit, and the PMOS transistor has a wide operating margin in the level converter. The configurable bit organization is realized by using a sense-amplifier switch circuit with no access degradation. A wired-OR demultiplexer for the ×1 output, having the same critical path as the ×4 output circuit, allows for the same access time between the two modes. The ×1 or ×4 mode is electrically selected by the external signal. A simplified programming redundancy technology, shift redundancy, is utilized. Address programming is performed by cutting only one fuse in the shift redundancy. A video codec LSI for high-definition television (HDTV) systems has been developed. By using a time-compressed integration encoding technique, it converts a 20.0-MHz bandwidth luminance signal and two 5.0-MHz chrominance signals into a compressed image signal at 48.6-MHz sampling frequency. It is useful in many HDTV application systems, such as 400-Mb/s digital transmission system, a video disk player system, or an analog transmission system. Over 288000 elements, including a 52-kb one-transistor DRAM (dynamic random access memory) line memory specially developed for this LSI, were integrated on a 12.16×12.10-mm2 chip. This article describes microstructure control aimed for wear-resistance improvement of Co-based (Co-Cr-W-B-Si) self-fluxing
alloy coating by diffusion treatment. The diffusion treatments of thermally sprayed Co-based self-fluxing alloy coating on
steel substrate were carried out at 1370-1450 K for 600-6000 s under an Ar gas atmosphere. Microstructural variations of the
coating and the interface between the substrate and the coating were investigated in detail. A proper diffusion treatment
precipitates two kinds of fine compounds in Co-based matrix. X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA)
analysis revealed these precipitates to be a chromium boride dissolving cobalt and a tungsten boride containing cobalt and
chromium. The size of each precipitate became larger with increasing treatment temperature and time. A coating with the proper
size borides showed a superior wear-resistance.

Multiphoton fluorescent images with a spatially varying background signal: a ML deconvolution method

By means of multiphoton laser scanning microscopy, neuroscientists can look inside the brain deeper than has ever been possible before. Multiphoton fluorescent images, as all optical images, suffer from degradation caused by a variety of sources (e.g. light dispersion and absorption in the tissue, laser fluctuations, spurious photodetection and staining deficiency). From a modelling perspective, such degradations can be considered the sum of stochastic noise and a background signal. Among the methods proposed in the literature to perform image deconvolution in either confocal or multiphoton fluorescent microscopy, Vicidomini et al. (2009) were the first to incorporate models for noise (a Poisson process) and background signal (spatially constant) in the context of regularized inverse problems. Unfortunately, the so-called split-gradient deconvolution method (SGM) they used did not consider possible spatial variations in the background signal. In this paper, we extend the SGM by adding a maximum-likelihood estimation step for the determination of a spatially varying background signal. We demonstrate that the assumption of a constant background is not always valid in multiphoton laser microscopy and by using synthetic and actual multiphoton fluorescent images, we evaluate the face of validity of the proposed method, and compare its accuracy with the previously introduced SGM algorithm. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate coverage control problem for mobile sensor networks. The novelty is to consider an anisotropic sensor model whose performance depends not only on the distance but also on the orientation to a target point. By adapting Lloyd algorithm, a distributed control law is derived. Aside from coverage, we also show that the control law guarantees collision avoidance between the agents. The performance of the control laws is demonstrated through not only numerical simulation but also experiments on a mobile robot test bed. 相似文献
