We obtain an exact upper bound on the complexity of solving the Subset Sum problem with a variation of the branch-and-bound method of a special form. Complexity is defined as the number of subproblems considered in the process of solving the original problem. Here we reduce the enumeration by using the domination relation. We construct an instance of the Subset Sum problem on which our bound is realized. The resulting bound is asymptotically twice smaller than the exact upper bound on the complexity of solving this problem with a standard version of the branch-and-bound method. 相似文献

Conclusions Scale growth in the channel of the metering component during the pouring of steel deoxidized by 2.2–2.5 kg/ton of aluminum is influenced by: the amount and composition of the nonmetal impurities; the material and construction of the component; and the method of supplying the metal to the ingot mold. Some problems of designing a control system of the heavy ion synchrotron in the project of the heavy ion acceleration facility are considered. The system includes approximately 200 dynamics and 1070 static inputs, and measures beam profiles in 1500 and control 176 points. Information flows have been calculated, organization of the control system of HIS and evaluation of its reliability have been made. The distribution control principle is used.
