The dependence of the kinetics of isotope exchanpe of Cd(II) between the aqueous solution and the surface layer formed on alumina on the concentration of Cd(II) and the inert electrolyte in the solution, accompanying anions, pH value of the solution, temperature, size of solid particles and their pore distribution is studied. A new simple bibliometric indicator is based on the number of highly cited papers (as defined by WoS®). It can be used to assess individuals, journals and universities. Unlike most other citation-based-indicators it equalizes the chances of young scientists (vs. their more experienced colleagues) and of scientists working in less-popular disciplines. The ranking of scientists based on the new indicator is not correlated with the rankings based upon the number of citations or on the Hirsch-index. 相似文献

Although silica is one of the most common adsorbents, the position of its isoelectric point (IEP) on the pH scale remains an open question. Different values from 1 to 4 have been published, and there is even a controversy about the very existence of the IEP. The discrepancies in the literature are at least partially due to application of different instruments. The sign and magnitude of the ζ potential of mineral oxides in allegedly pure organic solvents (high-quality chemical reagents) depends on the concentration of acidic and basic impurities, chiefly organic acids and amines. "Zetametric titration" with HClO(4) makes it possible to estimate the concentration of basic impurities and offers an attractive alternative to other analytical methods. Titanium(IV) oxide has been chosen as the probe powder in view of its very low solubility and nearly neutral point of zero charge in aqueous systems. Some systems have a high buffer capacity and addition of acid and base has a minor effect on the ζ potential of titania. Specific adsorption of alkali metal cations on anatase can be also a significant problem. 相似文献
