Equal‐channel angular rolling (ECAR) is a continuous severe plastic deformation process. In this process, severe shear strains apply to the sheet. This strain increases the yield or ultimate strength of sheet without significant change in sheet dimension. In this paper, the effect of ECAR process on mechanical properties and fatigue life of manufactured sheets will be studied. Four AA5083 samples have been prepared and annealed for obtaining stress‐free samples. Three samples have been rolled by the ECAR process with one, two and three passes of rolling, respectively. Mechanical tests including tensile test, hardness and axial fatigue tests have been carried out on prepared samples. Fatigue tests have been implemented according to a strain‐based approach with a constant strain ratio equal to 0.75 and 0.5 Hz frequency of loading. All of the tests have been carried out in controlled laboratory conditions. Results show that the ultimate tensile strength of samples increases with increasing the pass of rolling. Also, the maximum elongation of samples decreases. Maximum elongation was 17% in annealed samples, while it decreases to 10% in samples with three passes of rolling. The hardness of samples has been measured, and the results show an increase in hardness for a higher pass of the ECAR process. Fatigue test results show that fatigue life of AA5083 samples decreases in manufactured sheets of the ECAR process. Also, cyclic softening has been observed in the ECARed sample. The fracture surfaces of samples after fatigue test have been observed with a scanning electron microscope. A comparison of fracture surfaces confirms that the crack growth was intergranular in annealed samples while it changes in ECARed samples to transgranular. 相似文献

In this paper, a dynamic offer generating unit and cognitive layer are suggested for artificial agents based negotiation systems. For this purpose, first, adaptive time and behavior dependent tactics are developed taking advantages from time continuity and dynamics aspects (features) integrated in their modeling. Then, a negotiation strategy (bilateral over single issue) based on these two tactics is suggested. Second, a cognitive negotiation model for a negotiator agent is developed using Win-Lose and Win-Win orientations which will be formed based on personality factors. Afterwards, an experimental validation is conducted for testing applicability of time dependent tactics, the effect of offering time, and the effect of cognitive orientations (Win-Lose and Win-Win) on final negotiation outcomes. Conventional and gradient CoNiCrAlYSi coatings were produced by using low vacuum plasma spray and an additional step of diffusional over aluminizing (pack cementation) techniques on an Inconel-738 substrate. Hot corrosion of these coatings was investigated using Na2SO4–20wt%NaVO3 molten salt at 880?°C for 800?h. Hot corrosion rate was determined by measuring the weight gain of the specimens at regular intervals for a duration of 20?h. X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and electron probe micro analysis techniques were used to determine the nature of phases, investigation of the thermally grown oxide, examination of the surface attack and determination of the elemental distribution. The gradient coating showed better performance by re-healing alumina scale due to its possession of more β phase as Al reservoir. Results indicated that pack cementation process caused an increase in amount of aluminum-rich β phase and better hot corrosion properties of gradient coatings owing to the Al enrichment in the outer layer and rapid formation of protective oxide on the surface. 相似文献

The concept of the Global Petroleumspace is an analytical tool which engages the roles which different oil actors play in the development of new urban ideas and built forms. Coined by Hein, this concept contributes to enriching our understanding of globalization, modernity, and architectural history and their impacts on space through time. Petroleum is modern industry’s fuel par excellence. For much of the world, it is the arrival of petroleum on the local scene that introduces modernity with its attendant spaces, forms, materials, and discourses. To frame this new discourse on urban development and petromodernity, three events were organized: ‘Petroleumscape Roundtable’ held as part of the 17th IPHS Conference at TU Delft, ‘Petroleum Modernism Symposium’, organized at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and ‘The Global Petroleumscape Conference’ held at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. Magnetic hyperthermia (HT) using biocompatible ceramics is a ground-breaking, competent, and safe thermo-therapeutic strategy for cancer treatment. The magnetic properties of bioceramics, along with their structure and synthesis parameters, are responsible for the controlled heating of malignant tumors and are the key to clinical success. After providing a brief overview of magnetism and its significance in biomedicine, this review deals with materials selection and synthesis methods of bioceramics/glasses used for HT. Relevant research carried out on promising bioceramics for magnetic HT, with a focus on their size, shape, surface functionalization, magnetic field parameters, and in vitro/in vivo properties to optimize cancer therapy, is also discussed. Recent progress in magnetic HT combined with chemotherapy and phototherapy is especially highlighted, with the aim to provide interdisciplinary knowledge to advance further the applications of bioceramics in this field. 相似文献
