Cortical spreading depolarization (CSD) is the neuronal correlate of migraine aura and the reliable consequence of acute brain injury. The role of CSD in triggering headaches that follow migraine aura and brain injury remains to be uncertain. We examined whether a single CSD occurring in awake animals modified the expression of proinflammatory cytokines (Il1b, TNF, and Il6) and endogenous mediators of nociception/neuroinflammation-pannexin 1 (Panx1) channel and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), transforming growth factor beta (TGFb) in the cortex. Unilateral microinjury of the somatosensory cortex triggering a single CSD was produced in awake Wistar rats. Three hours later, tissue samples from the lesioned cortex, intact ipsilesional cortex invaded by CSD, and homologous areas of the contralateral sham-treated cortex were harvested and analyzed using qPCR. Three hours post-injury, intact CSD-exposed cortexes increased TNF, Il1b, Panx1, and CGRP mRNA levels. The strongest upregulation of proinflammatory cytokines was observed at the injury site, while CGRP and Panx1 were upregulated more strongly in the intact cortexes invaded by CSD. A single CSD is sufficient to produce low-grade parenchymal neuroinflammation with simultaneous overexpression of Panx1 and CGRP. The CSD-induced molecular changes may contribute to pathogenic mechanisms of migraine pain and post-injury headache. 相似文献

A significant lack of donor organs restricts the opportunity to obtain tissue-specific scaffolds for tissue-engineering technologies. One of the acceptable solutions is the development of decellularization protocols for a human donor pancreas unsuitable for transplantation. A protocol of obtaining a biocompatible tissue-specific scaffold from decellularized fragments with pronounced human pancreas lipomatosis signs with preserved basic fibrillary proteins of a pancreatic tissue extracellular matrix was developed. The scaffold supports the adhesion and proliferation of human adipose derived stem cell (hADSCs) and prolongs the viability and insulin-producing function of pancreatic islets. Experiments conducted allow for the reliance on the prospects of using the donor pancreas unsuitable for transplantation in the technologies of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, including the development of a tissue equivalent of a pancreas. 相似文献

This paper formulates the problem of real-time estimation of traffic state in freeway networks by means of the particle filtering framework. A particle filter (PF) is developed based on a recently proposed speed-extended cell-transmission model of freeway traffic. The freeway is considered as a network of components representing different freeway stretches called segments. The evolution of the traffic in a segment is modelled as a dynamic stochastic system, influenced by states of neighbour segments. Measurements are received only at boundaries between some segments and averaged within possibly irregular time intervals. This limits the measurement update in the PF to only these time instants when a new measurement arrives, while in between measurement updates any simulation model can be used to describe the evolution of the particles. The PF performance is validated and evaluated using synthetic and real traffic data from a Belgian freeway. An unscented Kalman filter is also presented. A comparison of the PF with the unscented Kalman filter is performed with respect to accuracy and complexity. 相似文献

This work deals with the problems of structural regeneration by thermal restoration treatment (TRT). These include the lack of a structural sign showing that TRT is possible, a consensus on TRT modes, the data on the necessary relaxation depth of residual stresses, or criteria of structural restoration. Performing a TRT without solving these problems may deteriorate the properties of steel or even accelerate its destruction. With this in view, the purpose of this work is to determine experimentally how the residual stress state changes under thermal and mechanical loads in order to specify the signs of the restoration of structure and structural stability. The object of this research is unused 12Cr1MoV steel that has been aged naturally for 13 years. Using X-ray dosimetry with X-ray spectral analysis, we study the distribution of internal residual stresses of the first kind during the repeated hot deformation. After repeated thermal deformation, the sample under study transforms from a viscoelastic Maxwell material into a Kelvin-Voigt material, which facilitates structural stabilization. A sign of this is the relaxation limit increase, prevention of continuous decay of an α-solid solution of iron and restoration of the lattice parameter. 相似文献

Metathesis polytricyclononenes were synthesized via ROMP polymerization in the presence of the 1‐st generation Grubbs catalyst and their gas‐transport properties were studied for the first time. The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of Me3E‐groups (E = C, Si, Ge) on gas permeation parameters of ROMP materials. New metathesis poly(3‐tert‐butyltricyclononene‐7) and poly(3‐trimethylgermyltricyclononene‐7) were obtained with high yields (up to 95%) and high‐molecular weights (Mw~3–7×105 g mol?1). The glass transition temperatures of the ROMP polytricyclononenes with Me3E‐groups decreased when E was changed from C to Si and then to Ge. It was shown that the polytricyclononene containing Me3Si‐groups has the highest gas permeability while the polytricyclononene containing Me3C‐substituents has the lowest gas permeability. In addition, the gas permeation parameters were estimated for ROMP Me3Si‐ and Me3Ge‐substituted polytricyclonona‐3,7‐dienes. Active components comprised of fluorite-like Lnx(Ce0.5Zr0.5)1−xO2−y (Ln = La, Pr, Sm) and perovskite-like La0.8Pr0.2Mn0.2Cr0.8O3 mixed oxides and their composites with yttria-doped zirconia (YSZ) promoted by precious metals (Pt, Ru) and/or Ni were supported on several types of heat-conducting substrates (compressed Ni-Al foam, Fecralloy foil or gauze protected by corundum layer, Cr-Al-O microchannel cermets, titanium platelets protected by oxidic layer) as well as on honeycomb corundum monolithic substrate. These structured catalysts were tested in pilot-scale reactors in the reactions of steam reforming of methane, selective oxidation of decane and gasoline and steam/autothermal reforming of biofuels (ethanol, acetone, anisole, sunflower oil). Applied procedures of supporting nanocomposite active components on monolithic/structured substrates did not deteriorate their coking stability in real feeds with a small excess of oxidants, which was reflected in good middle-term (up to 200 h) performance stability promising for further up-scaling and long-term tests. Equilibrium yield of syngas at short contact times was achieved by partial oxidation of decane and gasoline without addition of steam usually required to prevent coking. For the first time possibility of successive transformation of biofuels (ethanol, acetone, anisole, sunflower oil) into syngas at short contact times on monolithic catalysts was demonstrated. I2-doped and pyrrole ring-iodinated semi-conducting oligomers of N-vinyl-3-alkyl-2-phenylpyrroles have been synthesized by free-radical polymerization of the above monomers (AIBN, 2–5 wt%, 60–80 °C) and further exposure of the oligomers obtained to I2 vapor. The parent oligomers exhibit paramagnetic and fluorescent properties and stable up to 300–370 °C. 相似文献
