Described is a reaction sequence for the total synthesis of lyso platelet activating factor (lysoPAF; 1-O-alkyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) and its enantiomer. The procedure is versatile and yields optically pure isomers of defined chain length. The synthesis is equally suited for the preparation of lysoPAF analogues and its enantiomers with unsaturation in the long aliphatic chain. First,rac-1(3)-O-alkylglycerol is prepared by alkylation ofrac-isopropylideneglycerol with alkyl methanesulfonate followed by acid-catalyzed removal of the ketal group. The primary hydroxy group of alkylglycerol is then protected by tritylation, the secondary hydroxy group is acylated, and the protective trityl group is removed under mild acidic conditions with boric acid on silicic acid, essentially without acyl migration. Condensation of the diradylglycerol with bromoethyl dichlorophosphate in diethyl ether, hydrolysis of the resulting chloride, and nucleophilic displacement of the bromine with trimethylamine givesrac-1-O-alkyl-2-acylglycero-3-phosphocholine in good overall yield. The racemic alkylacylglycerophosphocholine is finally treated with snake venom phospholipase A2 (Ophiophagus hannah) which affords 1-O-alkyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (lysoPAF) of natural configuration in optically pure form. The “unnatural” 3-O-alkyl-2-O-acyl-sn-glycerol-1-phosphocholine enantiomer, which is not susceptible to phospholipase A2 cleavage, gives 3-O-alkyl-sn-glycero-1-phosphocholine upon deacylation with methanolic sodium hydroxide. Homogeneity and structure of the intermediates and final products were ascertained by carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy on monomeric solutions.  相似文献

In the last quarter of the twentieth century, a new class of materials, Geosynthetics, emerged prospectively leading significant innovation in the design of geotechnical and geoenvironmental systems. Geotextiles have proven to be among the most versatile and techno-economically viable ground modification materials playing a significant role in modern pavement design and maintenance techniques. With the growing environmental concern across the globe, technologists, researchers have inclined towards the natural geotextile where Jute Geotextile (JGT) is one of the potential candidates. But, JGT has been restricted mainly as underlay in road construction. Hence, there is an urgent need to design and develop a precise innovative fabric as overlay on existing pavements and other emerging civil works to stay technically and economically competitive in the global market. Such a fabric will not only prove techno-economically viable but will also reduce the carbon foot-print generation to a large extent. This paper delineates the development of Grey Jute Paving Fabric (GJPF) followed by its bituminization with suitable type and grade of bitumen to develop Bituminized Jute Paving Fabric (BJPF). The BJPF will enhance the life of the overlay thereby reducing the cost of maintenance as well as serving as a partial substitute of bitumen mastic.  相似文献

The charge-coupled device camera of the TJ-II Thomson scattering (TS) can capture five different classes of images. Typically, different data processing is performed depending on the kind of image that is acquired. The procedure can be automated to recognize the type of image. To this end, machine learning methods (MLM) are applied. However, usually, MLM classify without confidence estimates. An image classifier based on conformal predictors has been developed for the TJ-II TS. It provides a couple of indicators (confidence and credibility) for each classification that measures the accuracy and reliability of the prediction. Results achieve success rates of about 97%. The implemented classifier is valid for any kind of images.  相似文献

In magnetic confinement fusion, the operation of next generation devices will be significantly different compared to present day machines. The duration length of the discharges will require abandoning the traditional paradigm of processing and storing the data after the shot. In fact most information will have to be made available in real-time. The significant issues of machine protection will require more sophisticated and at the same time more robust feedback control schemes. Another very important issue emerged in the last years of JET operation, and which is expected to become more severe in ITER, is the large amount of data to be analysed, which cannot be handled in the most efficient way with traditional methods.In order to prepare for the operation of ITER, some tests are being performed at JET. The capacity of the real-time network has increased in the last years, and many more systems, mainly diagnostics have been connected to it in order to test their reliability and to assess the quality of the information they can provide for feedback control. To reduce the amount of data, a prototype of real-time adaptive data acquisition techniques is being implemented, to adjust the acquisition frequency to the time resolution of the phenomena to be analysed in the plasma. Lossless data compression techniques have been refined and various intelligent signal processing methods have already been implemented to allow an easier and more objective first screening of the data. To allow scientists from wide and diffuse communities to participate in the scientific and technical programme, various innovative tools for remote participation and experimentation are also being actively investigated.  相似文献

A multichannel far‐infrared (FIR) polarimeter has been installed in RFX, a Reversed Field Pinch (RFP) plasma experiment, to measure the poloidal magnetic field profile. The polarimeter uses a CH3OH FIR laser operating at λ=118.8 μm. Faraday rotation measurements on five of six parallel diagnostic chords are used in preliminary investigations of poloidal field profiles. The experimental results are generally found in good agreement with the μ&p model predictions. The choice of the profile of μ = μ0j·B/B2 is discussed. For the reconstruction of the magnetic field profiles a numerical filamentary current equilibrium code is described, where polarimetric data are included as constraints. An alternative method based on the best‐fit of a three‐parameter μ profile to the polarimetric data is also reported. Both methods provide reliable reconstructions of the plasma magnetic field and the results indicate the existence in RFX of hollow μ profiles.  相似文献

Pb(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 and (Pb0.9Sr0.1)(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 thin films were grown on Pt/TiOx/SiO2/Si substrates by chemical solution deposition. 10% Sr substituted PZT film showed high degree of (0 0 1) type preferential grain growth. Surface morphology revealed a clear correlation between preferred grain orientation and grain size. Room temperature dielectric constant was 1200 and 700 for the PZT and PSZT films, respectively. Dielectric loss reduced with Sr substitution. PZT film showed severe fatigue, and hence the polarization reduced to 20% of the initial value (24 μC/cm2) after 108 cycles where as PSZT showed less fatigue, 75% of the initial polarization (12 μC/cm2) was retained after 108 switching cycles.  相似文献

A 16-channel current-measuring very large-scale integration (VLSI) sensor array system for highly sensitive electrochemical detection of electroactive neurotransmiters like dopamine and nitric-oxide is presented. Each channel embeds a current integrating potentiostat within a switched-capacitor first-order single-bit delta-sigma modulator implementing an incremental analog-to-digital converter. The duty-cycle modulation of current feedback in the delta-sigma loop together with variable oversampling ratio provide a programmable digital range selection of the input current spanning over six orders of magnitude from picoamperes to microamperes. The array offers 100-fA input current sensitivity at 3.4-muW power consumption per channel. The operation of the 3 mm times3 mm chip fabricated in 0.5-mum CMOS technology is demonstrated with real-time multichannel acquisition of neurotransmitter concentration  相似文献

A general trend in the experimental programmes of present day Tokamaks, and of JET in particular, is the constant increase in the number of parameters to be controlled in real time, to satisfy the machine protection requirements on the one hand and to improve performance on the other. Since the amount of data collected is also increasing at least at a rate compatible with the Moore law, significant developments are required in the field of real time algorithms particularly for magnetic reconstructions, disruption prediction and image processing. A new real time equilibrium code called EQUINOX, using internal and external measurements of the magnetic fields, has been qualified on JET. It can provide reconstructed accurate equilibria about every 50 ms on a 2 GHz PC. An advanced disruption predictor, based on machine learning tools, has been deployed using inputs selected with a genetic algorithm. Its success rate remains of the order of 94% for up to 170 ms before the occurrence of the disruption. Nonextensive entropies, which are more sensitive to long range correlations, seem to be useful in detecting vibrations in the videos of JET cameras, both visible and infrared.  相似文献

The alkaline hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile staple fibers was investigated for evaluation as superabsorbent materials. Studies were performed to analyze the hydrolysis of fibers and the quantification of the developed functional groups, such as carboxyl and amide groups as well as changes in the nitrile content by means of Micro‐ATR. Dyeing of the samples with methylene blue was carried out to monitor the carboxyl groups formed during the hydrolysis. A gradual decrease in the nitrile groups and built up of the carboxyl and the amide groups was observed during the hydrolysis. Microscopic investigation carried out to investigate the surface structure of hydrolyzed fibers. Hydrolysis led to surface nonhomogeneity and erosion that was dependent on the hydrolysis conditions. The fibers showed good water retention behavior, making them superabsorbent materials. Smart power devices of the last generation are able to integrate a full electronic system, including logic and analog functions and power drivers, in a true single chip solution exploiting the advanced features made available by mixed BCD processes developed for this purpose. The complexity of the ICs and their applications together with the severe stress conditions which these devices can experience in the field makes the reliability assurance of the Smart Power ICs a very challenging task and for this purpose a complete approach is necessary combining an application oriented IC qualification methodology with structural evaluations to test the intrinsic reliability of the basic process elements. In this context the knowledge of the main failure mechanisms is fundamental both for an effective detection in qualification and for an early prevention during IC design.  相似文献
