In the development of novel biomarkers, the proteomic approach is advantageous because using it the cancer-associated proteins can be directly identified. We previously developed a 2-nitrobenzenesulfenyl (NBS) method to improve quantitative proteome analysis. Here, we applied this method to proteomic profiling of colorectal carcinoma (CRC) to identify novel proteins with altered expression in CRC. Each pair of tumor and normal tissue specimens from 12 CRC patients was analyzed, and approximately 5000 NBS-labeled paired peaks were quantified. Peaks with altered signal intensities (>1.5-fold) and occurring frequently in the samples (>70%) were selected, and 128 proteins were identified by MS/MS analyses as differentially expressed proteins in CRC tissues. Many proteins were newly revealed to be CRC related; 30 were reported in earlier studies of CRC. Six proteins that were up-regulated in CRC (ZYX, RAN, RCN1, AHCY, LGALS1, and VIM) were further characterized and validated by Western blot and immunohistochemistry. All six were found to be CRC-localized, either in cancer cells or in stroma cells near the cancer cells. These results indicate that the proteins identified in this study are novel candidates for CRC markers, and that the NBS method is useful in proteome mining to discover novel biomarkers. 相似文献

The containment structures of the HTTR consist of the reactor containment vessel, the service area, and the emergency air purification system, which minimise the release of fission products in postulated accidents, which lead to fission product release from the reactor facilities. The reactor containment vessel is designed to withstand the temperature and pressure transients and to be leak-tight in the case of a rupture of the primary concentric hot-gas duct, etc. The pressure inside the service area is maintained at a negative pressure by the emergency air purification system. The emergency air purification system will also remove airborne radioactivity and will maintain a correct pressure in the service area.The leak-tightness characteristics of the containment structures are described in this paper. The measured leakage rates of the reactor containment vessel were enough less than the specified leakage limit of 0.1%/d confirmed during the commissioning tests and annual inspections. The service area was kept in a way that the design pressure becomes well below its allowable limitation by the emergency air purification system, which filters efficiency of particle removal and iodine removal well over the limited values.The obtained data demonstrate that the reactor containment structures were fabricated to minimise the release of fission products in the postulated accidents with fission product release from the reactor facilities. 相似文献

Abstract The AM1 molecular orbital method and reduced pressure differential scanning calorimetry(RP-DSC) were applied to nitro derivatives of benzene and toluene for estimating Δf(1) and Δf(c). The heats of phase change were determined by RP-DSC with moderate accuracy and the combination of the heats and Δf(g) estimated by AM1 gave Δf in condensed phases which are similar to those found in literatures. 相似文献

A graphite/TiO2 full cell has been developed as a new safety energy storage system using a highly safety process. The crystal structures of the anatase TiO2 electrode have been investigated with respect to the performance of the electrodes. Due to the large anion intercalation into the graphite positive electrode, the possible charging potential can be raised to around 5.3 V against the Li/Li+ electrode, which is a higher charging voltage than lithium-ion batteries (maximum voltage is around 4.3 V vs. Li/Li+). In situ XRD measurements have been carried out on both the cathode and anode electrodes of the graphite/TiO2 cell during the charge process to elucidate the intercalation mechanism. 相似文献

Improved characteristics of an AlGaN/GaN HFET are reported. In this paper, the authors introduce a new ohmic electrode of Ti/AlSi/Mo and a low refractive index SiNx to decrease the contact resistance and gate leakage current. The AlGaN/GaN HFET showed a low specific resistance of 6.3 mOmega middot cm2 and a high breakdown voltage of 750 V. The switching characteristics of an AlGaN/GaN HFET are investigated. The small turn-on delay of 7.2 ns, which was one-tenth of Si MOSFETs, was measured. The switching operation of the HFET showed no significant degradation up to 225 degC 相似文献

A large number of centrifuge model tests for simulating the shield construction process in dry sand was carried out by using a newly developed 100 mm diameter miniature shield tunnel. Different construction processes were modeled by three series of tests. A “buried tube test” was conducted to measure the lining stress under a centrifugal acceleration, a “tail void test” simulated the process of tail void formation only, and a “shield test” dealt with the complete process of shield construction. Lining stresses, transverse and longitudinal surface settlements, and earth pressures around the tunnel were simultaneously measured during advancement of the shield at a centrifugal acceleration of 25g. The lining stress at the crown elevation was well predicted by Terzaghi's loosening earth pressure. From the comparison with the recent field measurements and the comparative results of three series of tests, it was confirmed that the shield construction process was successfully simulated in a centrifuge. An experimental formula for estimating the surface settlement above the shield was deduced by a function of tail void thickness and cover-to-diameter ratio. 相似文献

Manufacturing industries has confronted a changing phase from sales as physical products to provision as ‘servicized’ products. Accordingly, manufacturers must consider a new fusional framework incorporating products and services. This study defines a ‘platform-type product service system’ as a comprehensive business model with a common platform on which service providers, consumers, and manufacturers mutually interact. Such a platform framework offers great potential for manufacturers because it inevitably requires product use. Our study categorizes actual business examples. Then, based on that categorization, we construct theoretical models of several types. Game theoretic analysis clarifies its characteristics and mechanisms. 相似文献
