Green nanocomposites of regenerated cellulose/exfoliated graphite nanosheets films with low nanofiller loadings were prepared using environmentally benign 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (BMIMCl) ionic liquid. X-ray diffraction revealed well developed intercalated nanocomposites. The tensile strength and Young's modulus of the prepared nanocomposites were increased by 97.5% and 172% respectively when 0.75 wt.% and 1 wt.% exfoliated graphite nanosheets were added. The results were validated using the Halpin–Tsai model. The exfoliated graphite nanosheets were unidirectionally aligned in the regenerated cellulose parallel to the surface of the nanocomposites as revealed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Also, the TEM and FESEM revealed uniform dispersion of the exfoliated graphite nanosheets and good interaction between the nanofillers and the matrix. The addition of the exfoliated graphite nanosheets enhanced the thermal stability and reduced the water absorption and diffusivity of the nanocomposites. 相似文献

A simple and novel method based on high‐performance liquid chromatography with dual‐wavelength ultraviolet detection at 234 and 254 nm has been developed for the determination of underivatized N‐nitrosodiethanolamine in coconut diethanolamide. Peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is one of the main drawbacks in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. High PAPR forces the power amplifier to back off in order to operate in its linear region, which degrades the power efficiency of the system. Several PAPR reduction techniques have been developed, but most of them have not considered both complexity and PAPR reduction. In this paper, a novel PAPR reduction scheme based on the insertion of dummy sequences to an enhanced partial transmit sequence is proposed. By applying this scheme the PAPR performance is enhanced compared to the conventional methods while the complexity is significantly reduced. The effect of partial replacement of silica or calcium carbonate (CaCO3) by halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) on the curing behavior, tensile properties, dynamic mechanical properties, and morphological characteristics of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) composites was studied. Five different compositions of EPDM/Silica/HNT and EPDM/CaCO3/HNT compounds (i.e. 100/30/0, 100/25/5, 100/15/15, 100/5/25, and 100/0/30 parts per hundred rubber (phr)) were prepared on a two‐roll mill. The results indicated that the replacement of CaCO3 by HNTs increased the tensile strength, elongation at break (Eb), and tensile modulus of composites from 0 to 30 phr of HNTs whereas for silica, the maximum tensile strength and Eb occurred at 5 phr loading of HNTs with an enhanced stress at 300% elongation (M300). The curing results show that, with replacement of silica or CaCO3 by HNTs, the cure time (t90) and cure rate (CRI) were decreased and increased, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy investigation confirmed that co‐incorporation of 5 phr of HNTs with silica would improve the dispersion of silica and enhanced the interactions between fillers and EPDM matrix. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction and digital predistortion effects in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems are investigated. By applying a predistortion technique called complex gain memory predistortion (CGMP), power amplifier works at higher power efficiency. The proposed enhanced partial transmit sequence scheme is applied for PAPR reduction and integration with CGMP technique results in increasing in OFDM system efficiency and prolonged battery life. In this paper, the effects of peak‐to‐average power ratio reduction in nonlinear power amplifiers (PAs) by considering memory effects and of digital predistortion are investigated. A new predistortion technique is proposed, which is called the complex gain memory predistortion (CGMP) method. The CGMP is applied to compensate the dynamic memory effects of PAs. The conventional partial transmit sequence method is applied for peak‐to‐average power ratio reduction, and combining it with the CGMP results in efficiency enhancement and spectrum efficiency improvement. In this paper, we propose a novel technique to reduce the crest factor (CF) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems. It consists of two inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) blocks, the input symbols of the first IFFT are the mapped symbols, whereas the input symbols of the second IFFT are the summations of the absolute value of the real part of the outer signal constellation points and zero symbols. First, the output of the two IFFT blocks is partitioned into four subblocks, which are subsequently used to rearrange the subblocks with padding zeros in a specific manner. Then, a new optimization scheme is introduced, in which only a single two-phase sequence and four iterations need to be applied. Numerical analysis shows that the proposed hybrid technique achieves better CF reduction performance with significantly lower complexity and better bit error rate performance than the existing scrambling (multiplicative) and additive CF techniques. 相似文献
