Abstract— A touch‐screen‐panel (TSP) embedded 12.1‐in. LCD employing a standard existing a‐Si:H TFT‐LCD process has been successfully developed. Compared with conventional external touch‐screen panels, which use additional components to detect touch events, the new internal TSP exhibits a clearer image and improved touch feeling, as well as increased sensing speed using discrete sensing lines to enable higher‐speed sensing functions including handwriting. The new internal digital switching TSP can be fabricated with low cost because it does not require any additional process steps compared to a standard a‐Si:H TFT‐LCD.  相似文献

Membrane-type 1 matrix metalloproteinase (MT1-MMP) is expressed both in carcinoma cells and in surrounding stromal fibroblasts. MT1-MMP localizes to the surface of tumor cells and is thought to play an important role in tumor invasion. To analyze the mechanism of MT1-MMP gene expression in epithelial tumor cells, the dog kidney epithelial cell line Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) was transformed by oncogenes, including v-src, and expression of MT1-MMP was examined. Transformation of MDCK cells with v-src resulted in loss of cell-to-cell contacts and morphological change. Expression of MT1-MMP in v-src-transformed cells was identified by Northern and Western blotting. Gelatin zymography analysis showed that progelatinase A in the culture medium was processed from latent to activated form by MDCK cells transformed with v-src. The MDCK cells transformed by v-src were tumorigenic in the subcutis (ectopic) and kidney (orthotopic) of nude mice and spontaneously metastasized to the lung after orthotopic implantation. These results suggest that MT1-MMP induced by v-src transformation may promote invasiveness of transformed cells.  相似文献

The treatment of human uterine cervical fibroblasts with concanavalin A (ConA), or a specific calmodulin antagonist, N-(6-aminohexyl)-5-chloro-1-naphthalenesulfonamide (W-7) or trifluoperazine resulted in accumulation of an active form of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP-2, gelatinase A). In contrast, N-(6-aminohexyl)-1-naphthalenesulfonamide (W-5), a weaker antagonist of calmodulin, did not modulate the activation of proMMP-2. The activation of proMMP-2 was confirmed by the enhanced activity on gelatin and the conversion of proMMP-2 to a 62-kDa form by zymography and western blotting. The plasma membrane, but not the conditioned medium, of the W-7- or trifluoperazine-treated cells activated proMMP-2; this activation was blocked by membrane-type-1 MMP (MT1-MMP) antibody and EDTA. The plasma membrane from trifluoperazine- or ConA-treated cells contained MT1-MMP and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 2. Both trifluoperazine treatment and ConA treatment increased the steady-state levels of MT1-MMP mRNA and proMMP-2 mRNA. These results, together with our previous observations on the production of proMMP-1 (interstitial procollagenase) and proMMP-3 (prostromelysin 1) [Ito, A., Sato, T., Ojima, Y., Chen, L.-C., Nagase, H. & Mori, Y. (1991) J. Biol. Chem. 266, 13598-13601], suggest that calmodulin negatively regulates the matrix turnover by suppressing the production of a number of proMMPs including proMMP-1, proMMP-3 and MT1-MMP, and the activation of proMMP-2 in human uterine cervical fibroblasts.  相似文献

The superconducting to normal transition by a rectangular pulse current in type-II Ta has been investigated. The potential drop along the specimen is observed as a function of time. The voltage pattern and the magnitude of the potential drop are obtained as functions of current amplitude, temperature, externally applied magnetic field, the angle between magnetic field and specimen axis, and values. The transition mechanisms are discussed. It is also shown in this experiment that the flux flow or flux creep and flux jump occur. A support to the paramagnetic current flow in the presence of longitudinal magnetic field is given.  相似文献

The physicochemical and electrochemical properties of three 1-alkyl-2,3,5-trimethylpyrazolium cation-based room-temperature ionic liquids with various alkyl chain lengths were investigated. The temperature dependences of density, viscosity, and ionic conductivity were obtained by precise measurements. Electrolyte properties of these room-temperature ionic liquids were also examined from the viewpoint of their uses in lithium secondary batteries ([LiCoO2 positive electrode|electrolyte|lithium metal negative electrode]). It was found that the alkyl chain length affects the charge–discharge performances of cells.  相似文献

Despite various studies, there are serious disagreements about the cellular differentiation of papillary eccrine adenoma. In the present study, 2 specimens of papillary eccrine adenoma were analyzed by immunohistochemical techniques, using a panel of monoclonal antibodies against keratins, to elucidate its differentiation. Histopathologically, the tumor was composed of multiple tubular structures lined by two or more layers of epithelial cells. The luminal cells of the tubules were flattened or cuboidal. The former were noted in large dilated tubules. The latter were usually observed in small-to-moderate-sized tubules, and formed intraluminal papillary projections in some tubules. Immunohistochemically, there were two kinds of cuboidal cells in the luminal layers of the tubules. Most of the large dilated tubules and some of the small-to-moderate-sized tubules expressed immunophenotypes similar to those of the eccrine dermal duct. The other tubular structures, including the small tubules resembling those of syringoma, expressed immunophenotypes similar to those of the transitional portions between the dermal ducts and the secretory segments of eccrine glands. From the above comparative studies, papillary eccrine adenoma is considered to differentiate towards the dermal duct and the transitional portions between the dermal ducts and the secretory segments of eccrine glands.  相似文献

Transgenic 3.L2 T cells are stimulated by Hb(64-76)/I-Ek and are positively selected on I-Ek plus self-peptides. To this pool of self-peptides we have added a single, well-defined 3.L2 TCR antagonist (A72) in vivo. We find that mice expressing both the 3.L2 TCR and A72 have a minimal loss of T cells expressing the clonotypic TCR in the thymus and spleen. Importantly, the proliferative response of 3.L2 x A72 splenocytes is significantly reduced compared with splenocytes from 3.L2 mice. This reduced response can be attributed to peripheral antagonism. Thus we have identified a new class of self-ligands whose predominant effect is constitutive peripheral antagonism rather than negative selection. The net effect of these ligands is to avoid potential self-reactivity while maintaining as large a repertoire as possible.  相似文献
