Electromagnetic wave transmittances of plain woven fabric glass fiber reinforced epoxy matrix composite (PW-GFRP) and eight-harness-stain fabric glass fiber reinforced polyimide matrix composite (8H-GFRP) with 1.0 mm thickness were measured in a terahertz (THz) frequency range. The transmittance values for both composites are nearly zero at a frequency of 1.0 THz. The real parts of the complex dielectric constant, ε′(ω) are 4.45 and 3.87 for PW-GFRP and 8H-GFRP, respectively, in the frequency range from 0.2 to 1.0 THz, and they are almost frequency independent. Conversely, the imaginary parts of the dielectric constant, ε′′(ω) for both composites linearly increases with increase of the frequency from 0.13 to 0.37 for PW-GFRP, and from 0.12 to 0.33 for 8H-GFRP.  相似文献

The mechanical properties of Fe-13 wt% Cr-2 wt% Mo-2.5 wt% Ti alloy were examined by tensile tests with respect to its fracture mechanism. In order to improve the properties, 1 wt% Nb was added and its effects were examined. In the temperature range, room temperature to 500° C, the fracture characteristics of the alloys are mainly governed by the characteristics of the x-phase precipitation. Fracture elongation is a function of (C/r)1/2 where C is the radius of the x-phase and r is its mean spacing. 1 wt% Nb addition is an effective method for improving the ductility without a decrease in the strength of the alloy.  相似文献

Hypoeutectic Al-Si alloys consist of primary α-Al and Al-Si eutectic phases and show typical elasticplastic fracture. To understand their fracture behavior, fracture processes were simulated using an elastic-plastic finite-element method. The validity of the J-integral-based criterion was verified and applied to the simulations. A complicated model was used to simulate the fracture in an idealized dendritic microstructure, and four simplified models were intended to more clearly understand the interaction between a crack and individual α phases. Results show that the crack is attracted to the soft α phase when passing by the α phase, whereas it is repelled when the α phase is close in front of or behind the crack tip. The presence of α phase close in front of or behind the crack tip leads to an amplification of the driving force. However, the α phase beside the tip reduces the driving force. Furthermore, the fracture behavior is mainly affected by the adjacent α phase on one side around the crack tip, while the remote α phase on the opposite side has an offsetting effect. The local stress-strain fields were examined to analyze the simulated behavior. The simulated crack-growth path in the dendritic model was compared and verified with the experimentally observed path.  相似文献

Abstract— The perfluorocarbons (PFCs) used as etching‐process and chamber‐cleaning gases in the manufacture of LCD devices have a high global‐warming potential and a long atmospheric lifetime. Thus, to voluntarily reduce these environmentally harmful PFCs, in 2001 the Japanese LCD association established the World LCD Industry Cooperation Committee (WLICC), together with its counterpart associations in the Republic of Korea and Taiwan. Since that time involving many discussions, the WLICC reached a consensus on reducing the aggregate absolute PFC emissions to the equivalent of less than 0.82 million metric tons of carbon by 2010. Each association has been taking whatever emission reduction steps it considers best to achieve this goal. Thanks to these measures, the PFC emissions from the Japanese LCD industry have remained at the same level, or less, than those of the year 2000, in spite of the fact that PFC purchases have continually increased. In the interim, the Japanese LCD association has been obtaining experimental data for the 2006 IPCC Inventory Guidelines, which will give the emission factors needed to estimate the PFC emissions. As a result, some data are quite different from emission factors given in the current 2000 Inventory Guidelines. All the data obtained have been submitted to the IPCC to be adopted in the new 2006 Guidelines.  相似文献

Polyacrylic chloride was reacted with aminonaphthol sulfonic acid to give a polymeric intermediate, from which the corresponding dyestuff was prepared by coupling with an aromatic diazonium salt. The water-solubility of the polymeric azo dye was found to depend mainly on the number of sulfonic groups in the molecular chain, and the colouring of dye was comparatively rich in variety. A copolymer of acrylic chloride with methyl methacrylate was directly reacted with a dyestuff containing amino groups to give a polymeric dye. In the molecular chain of those polymeric dyes, the functional structure of the dyestuff was kept by its incorporation to the acrylic polymer chain.  相似文献

The importance of concrete permeability is discussed relative to its effect on durability. Experimental studies were made of the effect of water/cement ratio and curing temperature on the porosity, pore size distribution and permeability of cement pastes. Although total porosities of samples cured at 60°C are smaller than in those cured at 27°C, the pore volume larger than 750Å radius is greater in the 60°C samples and is related to higher permeabilities also in the latter.  相似文献

This study investigates the preparation of PbSe-ZnSe composite thin films by simultaneous hot-wall deposition (HWD) from multiple resources. The XRD result reveals that the solubility limit of Pb in ZnSe is quite narrow, less than 1 mol%, with obvious phase-separation in the composite thin films. A nanoscale elemental mapping of the film containing 5 mol% PbSe indicates that isolated PbSe nanocrystals are dispersed in the ZnSe matrix. The optical absorption edge of the composite thin films shifts toward the low-photon-energy region as the PbSe content increases. The use of a phase-separating PbSe-ZnSe system and HWD techniques enables simple production of the composite package.  相似文献
