Highly efficient ceramic catalytic blocks with a honeycomb structure

Compositions and technologies are suggested for preparing highly efficient catalyst blocks with a honeycomb structure to be used for reducing nitrogen oxides with ammonia in flue gases from thermal power plants. The blocks have high structural strength and catalytic activity.     

Polarized infrared and neutron scattering studies of α-Bi2O3

Studies on the lattice dynamics of -Bi₂O₃ have been performed including IR polarized reflectance spectra on single crystal, inelastic neutron scattering and specific heat measurements. Dispersion parameters and polarizations of IR-active phonons are presented and compared with neutron and specific heat data.     

A method of extending the dynamic range when transferring the dimensions of the unit of electrostatic field strength

Two equivalent methods of extending the dynamic range when transferring the dimensions of the unit of electrostatic field strength are proposed and analyzed. Special features of welding highly stressed titanium alloy structures

Investigations were carried out into the quality of welded joints in submerged-arc welding and also the problems of consumption of electrode material at higher currents. Methods for improving the quality of permanent joints when using tungsten electrodes are outlined.
