As the urgent need for efficient and sustainable energy usage becomes ever more apparent, interest in Smart Homes is on the rise. The SESAME-S project (SEmantic SmArt Metering – Services for Energy Efficient Houses) uses semantically linked data to actively assist end-consumers in making well-informed decisions and controlling their energy consumption. By integrating smart metering and home automation functionality, SESAME-S works to effectively address the potential mass market of end-consumers with an easily customizable solution that can be widely implemented in domestic or business environments, with expected savings of over 20?% from the total energy bill. The developed system is a basis for conceptualizing, demonstrating, and evaluating a variety of innovative end-consumer services and their user interface paradigms. In this paper, we present the SESAME-S system as a whole and discuss the semantically enabled services, demonstrating that such systems may have broad acceptance in the future. The data obtained through such systems will be invaluable for future global energy-efficiency strategies and businesses.  相似文献

Malignant oncocytoma of the lacrimal sac is a rare tumor. A third example is presented here. In addition to oncocytes, tumor acini also harbored a few mucin cells and myoepithelial cells. The presence of immunoreactive lactoferrin and secretory piece suggested a resemblance to parotid acinic cell carcinomas. The difference was marked by a compact acinar structure and myoepithelial cell differentiation in the oncocytoma.  相似文献

The study investigated where and in what way secondary school teachers in the Netherlands generate ideas linked to their work environment using a self-report measure. Before idea generation teachers prefer to be alone in a quiet environment, almost always away from work. They consult colleagues, professional periodicals and specialized books. Also during the moment of idea generation, teachers are usually alone at home. In bed turns out to be a good place for generating new ideas. The work environment is not an appropriate place for getting ideas. After an idea occurs to them, teachers write it down immediately, talk to experts to evaluate it and to develop it in further detail, searching for facts supporting the idea.  相似文献

A new technique for estimation of the instantaneous frequency based on simultaneous sampling of three-phase voltage signals is presented. The structure consists of two decoupled modules: the first is for adaptive filtering of input signals, and the second is for frequency estimation. A suitable and robust algorithm for frequency estimation is obtained. This technique provides better performance, compared with the technique based on a single-phase signal in relation to waveforms with noise. The technique is particularly important when asymmetric sags generate zero voltage in one of the three phases. In addition, it allows the measurement of the instantaneous frequency value of real signals for single- or three-phase systems. To demonstrate the performance of the developed algorithm, computer-simulated data records and calibrator-generated signals are processed. The proposed algorithm has been put to test with distorted three-phase voltage signals.   相似文献

A new water‐soluble monomeric agent for the aminisation of lyocell has been designed and synthesised. The agent, which contains a sulphatoethylsulphonyl group, an s‐triazinyl keto–enol tautomeric system and a primary aromatic amine was prepared in acidic media, in good yield from cyanuric chloride, p‐aminophenyl‐β‐sulphatoethylsulphone and p‐phenylenediamine, via a triazinyl betaine intermediate.  相似文献

Beef from cattle less than 30 months old at the point of slaughter are generally sold in meat markets. Though the age of the animal can generally be estimated by dentition, this method cannot be applied to a carcass or a piece of meat from which the teeth have been removed. Since gas chromatography of volatile organic compounds has been used to classify biological samples, this technique was used for classifying meat obtained from cattle aged over 30 months (OTM) at point of slaughter. Volatile organic compounds of fresh meat (M. longissimus dorsi) samples obtained from cattle of different age and dentition (two, four, and six teeth) at point of slaughter were analyzed using gas chromatography/mass spectrum (GC/MS). Six volatile organic compounds were selected (hexanoic acid, benzoic acid, octanoid acid, tridecane, tetradecane, and 4-formylbenzoic acid) and confirmed by using chemical standards and Kovat’s indexes. The chromatogram data were used to train two classifiers, one based on the partial least square (PLS) method and another based on support vector machine (SVM), but only SVM showed high accuracy. Data exploration based on the principal component analysis allowed for comprehension of the data distribution, proposing a new version of PLS in a parallel configuration. This modified version of the PLS algorithm showed better accuracy than the SVM classifier. In conclusion, volatile organic compounds analyzed by GC/MS–solid-phase microextraction can be used to recognize OTM beef.  相似文献
