Gilbenclamide, a widely used potent hypoglycaemic agent was solubllized using β -Cyclodextrin and β -Cyclodextrin derivatives. Complexes were prepared by kneading method in a molar ratio of 1:1 of the drug and the cyclodextrlns respectively. The Glibenclamide β -Cyelocextrin complex was characterized and evaluated by I.R. studies, Differential Scanning Calorimotry 6 X-ray diffractometry. The in-vitro dissolution rates of drug from inclusion complexes of β Cyclodextrins and its derivatives were compared. A significant Improvement In dissolution lor, rates of Gllbenclamide was observed with Inclusion complexes of all the Cyclodextrins. However, the solubilizing effect was more in case of β-Cyclodextrin derivatives.  相似文献

Present paper deals with fractional version of a dynamical system introduced by C. Liu, L. Liu and T. Liu [C. Liu, L. Liu, T. Liu, A novel three-dimensional autonomous chaos system, Chaos Solitons Fractals 39 (4) (2009) 1950–1958]. Numerical investigations on the dynamics of this system have been carried out. Properties of the system have been analyzed by means of Lyapunov exponents. Furthermore the minimum effective dimensions have been identified for chaos to exist in commensurate and incommensurate orders. It is noteworthy that the results obtained are consistent with the analytical conditions given in the literature.  相似文献

A Web server, when overloaded, shows a severe degradation of goodput initially, with the eventual settling of goodput as load increases further. Traditional performance models have failed to capture this behavior. In this paper, we propose an analytical model, which is a two-stage and layered queuing model of the Web server, which is able to reproduce this behavior. We do this by explicitly modelling the overhead processing, the user abandonment and retry behavior, and the contention for resources, for the FIFO and LIFO queuing disciplines. We show that LIFO provides better goodput in most overload situations. We compare our model predictions with experimental results from a test bed and find that our results match well with measurements.  相似文献

Degradation of device parameters over the lifetime of a system is emerging as a significant threat to system reliability. Among the aging mechanisms, wearout resulting from Negative Bias Temperature Instability (NBTI) is of particular concern in deep submicron technology generations. While there has been significant effort at the device and circuit level to model and characterize the impact of NBTI, the analysis of NBTI’s impact at the architectural level is still at its infancy. To facilitate architectural level aging analysis, a tool capable of evaluating NBTI vulnerabilities early in the design cycle has been developed that evaluates timing degradation due to NBTI. The tool includes workload-based temperature and performance degradation analysis across a variety of technologies and operating conditions, revealing a complex interplay between factors influencing NBTI timing degradation.  相似文献

X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy studies were performed with molding sand and sugar industry fly ash to evaluate and compare their physical properties. We noted that several physical properties of sugar industry fly ash and molding sand were similar. We then tested the permeability, green compression strength and dry compression strength of various compositions of sugar industry fly ash and bentonite to explore their potential as an alternative to molding sand, thereby reducing the dependency on the latter, as well as to suggest an effective way for disposal of fly ash from sugar industry. We also found that quality aluminium castings could be produced using fly ash, which effectively replaced 24% of molding sand in the foundry, thereby reducing the cost of production and increasing the surface finish of castings.  相似文献

Pharmacophore searches that include anchors, fragments contributing above average to receptor binding, combined with one-step syntheses are a powerful approach for the fast discovery of novel bioactive molecules. Here, we are presenting a pipeline for the rapid and efficient discovery of aspartyl protease inhibitors. First, we hypothesized that hydrazine could be a multi-valent warhead to interact with the active site Asp carboxylic acids. We incorporated the hydrazine anchor in a multicomponent reaction and created a large virtual library of hydrazine derivatives synthetically accessible in one-step. Next, we performed anchor-based pharmacophore screening of the libraries and resynthesized top-ranked compounds. The inhibitory potency of the molecules was finally assessed by an enzyme activity assay and the binding mode confirmed by several soaked crystal structures supporting the validity of the hypothesis and approach. The herein reported pipeline of tools will be of general value for the rapid generation of receptor binders beyond Asp proteases.  相似文献

We have synthesized NiCo2O4 nanoparticles (NCO NPs) using an ascorbic acid-assisted co-precipitation method for the first time. When NCO NPs are used as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries, the cell exhibits superior lithium storage properties, such as high capacity (700 mA h g?1 after 300 cycles at 200 mA g?1), excellent rate capabilities (applied current density range 100–1200 mA g?1), and impressive cycling stability (at 1200 mA g?1 up to 650 cycles). The enhanced electrochemical properties of NCO NPs are due to the nanometer dimensions which not only offers a smooth charge-transport pathway and short diffusion paths of the lithium ions but also adequate spaces for volume expansion during Li storage. Hence, this eco-friendly synthesis approach will provide a new strategy for the synthesis of various nanostructured metal oxide compounds, for energy conversion and storage systems applications.  相似文献

In the present study, Aurivillius-structured Ba2+ substituted CaBi2Nb2O9 (CBNO) ceramic powder was synthesized by co-precipitation method. The CBNO thick films were delineated by screen printing method on alumina substrates using co-precipitated ceramic powder. The overlay method was adopted to measure the microwave dielectric properties of prepared thick films. Single phase layered perovskite structure of the prepared thick films was confirmed by X-ray Diffraction. The effects of Ba2+ substitution on the surface morphology, bonding, and microwave dielectric properties of thick films were systematically presented. The maximum value of microwave dielectric constant for the CBNO thick films at 11.8 GHz is 15.6 for Ba2+=0.8 substitution. The shift in the stretching vibration modes of the Nb-O bond of NbO6 octahedron in the Raman spectra with a substitution of Ba2+ in CBNO was observed. The substitution of Ba2+ on A-site of CBNO improves the microwave dielectric properties of prepared thick films. This work may provide a new approach to enhance the microwave dielectric performance of Aurivillius-structured ceramic thick films.  相似文献

A benzimidazole-based receptor 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-benzo[d]imidazole [FPPBI] has been designed, synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass and single crystal XRD. Absorption, emission, lifetime and cyclic voltammetry have been made to deduce the interaction between FPPBI and ZnO nanocrystals. FPPBI act as a new host for ZnO nanocrystals that enhance its luminescence. The apparent binding constant has been obtained. Adsorption of the FPPBI on ZnO nanocrystals lowers the HOMO energy level of the FPPBI. The strong adsorption of the FPPBI on the surface of ZnO nanocrystals is likely due to the chemical affinity of the nitrogen atom of the FPPBI to the zinc ion on the surface of nanocrystals.  相似文献
