Metrological Support to Domestic Heat Meters

Metrological support is considered for domestic heat meters, with the use of test flowmeters and simulation models for the primary flow rate detectors.

Influence of Wettability of the Channel Surface on the Readings of an Electromagnetic Flowmeter

The dependence of the readings of an electromagnetic flowmeter on the restructuring of the flow velocity profile in the flowmeter channel is discussed. The temporary instability of the flow profile caused by incomplete wetting of the Teflon surface of the channel by the liquid being measured is shown to be one cause of the changes in the flowmeter signal.
