Lanthanum orthoferrite powders were synthesized via one-step hydrothermal reactions under mild conditions using microwave and conventional heating. The use of microwave irradiation during the synthesis allows one to obtain nanocrystalline LaFeO3 with a higher yield and reduced crystallite and particle size within a 16 times shorter duration (3 hours) at a lower temperature of 220°C as compared to the conventional heating. The catalytic decomposition of nitrous oxide was performed over both samples, it was shown that the sample obtained under microwave conditions demonstrates enhanced activity as a catalyst: N2O decomposes completely at 700°C over the catalyst formed at microwave conditions, while the comparative catalyst prepared by conventional heating reaches a lower conversion of only 60% at the same temperature and catalytic reaction conditions.  相似文献

The characteristics of a beta spectrometer that consists of a total-absorption Si(Li) detector and a drift Si detector are presented. Using this spectrometer, it is possible to efficiently separate β radiation of nuclei from concomitant X and γ rays. The method is based on coincidences between signals from the thick and thin detectors. The spectrometer can be used to precisely measure the shape of the β spectra of various radioactive nuclei, in particular, of the 144Pr nucleus, which is the most promising antineutrino source for searching for neutrino oscillations into a sterile state.  相似文献

DNA molecules immobilization on n-type single silicon was investigated. Electronic states were studied by measuring voltage-ampere characteristics (VAC) of Au-(n-Si) contacts with DNA molecules on the interface. It is showed that strong DNA fixation is observed in the presence of magnesium ions in solution. Molecules conformation on the surface is determined by the degree of the substrate hydrophobicity. Developed method of DNA immobilization allows to create model systems with the molecules in the form of molecular mesh or ropes depending on irradiation intensity. Formed on the silicon surface molecular structures have different effect on the electrical properties of Au-DNA-(n-Si) contacts. Presence of molecular mesh on the Schottky diode interface makes its VAC similar to ideal diode. The ropes lead to electronic state density increasing.  相似文献
