In the presence of modified methylaluminoxane as cocatalyst, the behavior of a binary catalytic system based on pyridine-imine nickel ( N ) and iron ( F ) catalysts was evaluated in order to reach a proper mixture of polyethylene (PE). A computational study along with kinetic profile suggested that the catalyst F with higher electron affinity (A) and electrophilicity (ω) in the methyl cationic active center and stronger interaction with the monomer led to high integrated monomer consumption and higher activity. In addition, the samples produced by the mixture of catalysts showed a higher value of [19.4 × 104 g (PE) mol (Fe+Ni)−1 h−1)], melting point (127.8 °C), and crystallinity extent (41.29%) than the samples produced by the single catalysts. The addition of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) into the polymerization media reduced the activity of catalysts [from 7.50 × 104 to 0.66 × 104 g (PE) mol (Fe+Ni)−1 h−1] and the thermal properties of the low-density polyethylene nanocomposite samples. However, the sample containing 2.33% MWCNT20-30 improved the total thermal stability of the neat polyethylene blend up to 400 °C. Scanning electron microscope images of the samples demonstrated irregular to virtually uniform morphologies were obtained through the in situ and solution-mixing techniques. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This research presents bending responses of FG-GPLRC plates based upon higher order shear deformation theory (HSDT) for various sets of boundary conditions. The rule of the mixture and modified Halpin–Tsai model are engaged to provide the effective material constant of the composite layers. By employing Hamilton’s principle, the governing equations of the structure are derived and solved with the aid of the differential quadrature method (DQM). Afterward, a parametric study is done to present the effects of three kinds of FG patterns, weight fraction of the GPLs, radius ratio, and thickness to inner radius ratio on the bending characteristics of the FG-GPLRC disk. Numerical results reveal that in the initial value of the \(Zt/h\), using more GPLs for reinforcing the structure provides an increase in the normal stresses but this matter is inverse for the higher value of the \(Zt/h\). The results show that considering the smaller radius ratio is a reason for boosting the shear stresses of the structure for each \(Zt/h\). Another consequence is that for the negative value of \(Zt/h\), it is true that by increasing \(h/{R}_{i}\) , the normal stresses increases but if there is positive value for \(Zt/h\), the radial and circumferential stresses fall down by having an increase in the \(h/{R}_{i}\).

The three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter (SAPF) was developed to suppress the harmonic currents generated by nonlinear loads, and for the compensation of unbalanced nonlinear load currents, reactive power, and the harmonic neutral current. In this work, we consider instantaneous reactive power theory (PQ theory) for reference current identification based on the following two algorithms: the classic low-pass filter (LPF) and the second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) filter. Furthermore, since an important process in SAPF control is the regulation of the DC bus voltage at the capacitor, a new controller based on the Lyapunov function is also proposed. A complete simulation of the resultant active filtering system confirms its validity, which uses the SOGI filter to extract the reference currents from the distorted line currents, compared with the traditional PQ theory based on LPF. In addition, the simulation performed also demonstrates the superiority of the proposed approach, for DC bus voltage control based on the Lyapunov function, compared with the traditional proportional-integral (PI) controller. Both novel approaches contribute towards an improvement in the overall performance of the system, which consists of a small rise and settling time, a very low or nonexistent overshoot, and the minimization of the total harmonic distortion (THD).  相似文献

An agriglass composition containing different oxides acts as a slow release for macro and micro nutrients and was chosen to improve maize yield under most important abiotic stresses which affecting agriculture development; salinity and drought. A field experiment was performed in salt affected soil (EC =?7.5 dSm??1) by using different water deficit rates (I1 = 100, I2 = 85 and I3 = 70% of maize water requirements). Irrigation levels were located in main plots. Every main-plot divided into six sub-plots contained glassy fertilizer treatments [F1 = 55 kg fed?1 with 1/2 mm diameter of agriglass (fed. =?4200 m2), F2 = 55 kg fed?1 with 1 mm diameter, F3 = 80 kg fed?1 with 1/2 mm diameter, F4 = 80 kg fed?1 with 1 mm diameter, F5 = Recommendations of Ministry of Agriculture and F6 = control]. The experimental results demonstrated that, ears, straw, grains and biological yields increased with increasing both water and agriglass rates. Application of agriglass as a slow release fertilizer improved yield more than mineral fertilizer. Some growth parameters, water use efficiency (IWUE), macronutrients concentration and their relations were included. Other studies on residual effect of agriglass and the annual application rates to withstand salinity and drought stress by strategic crops are required.  相似文献

PURPOSE: We investigated Sertoli cells in testicular biopsies with carcinoma in situ (CIS) in respect to cytokeratin expression to elucidate the status of Sertoli cell differentiation adjacent to CIS in human testes. Cytokeratin 18 intermediate filaments indicate a state of undifferentiation usually observed in Sertoli cells of prepubertal testes. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 29 testicular biopsies presenting CIS were investigated by means of immunohistochemistry, using a polyclonal antibody against placental-alkaline phosphatase to detect CIS cells and a monoclonal antibody against human cytokeratin 18 to show expression of cytokeratin 18 intermediate filaments in Sertoli cells. RESULTS: All tubules bearing CIS showed positive cytokeratin expression of Sertoli cells if tubules were devoid of normal germ cells. However, a total of 13 specimen revealed CIS cells together with normal germ cells. In the presence of CIS cells together with round or elongated spermatids, adjacent Sertoli cells did not express cytokeratin immunoreactivity. In the case of combined presence of CIS and spermatogonia and primary spermatocytes, Sertoli cells could be found either immunopositive or immunonegative, and were positive in tubules with CIS and spermatogonia only. CONCLUSIONS: Sertoli cells associated with CIS cells undergo a process of dedifferentiation, seen by the re-expression of cytokeratin intermediate filaments. We suggest that this dedifferentiation results in a loss of Sertoli cell function and leads to a cessation of spermatogenic activity.  相似文献

Roller blading is a new and increasingly popular leisure activity in many countries. We reviewed 110 consecutive patients with roller-blade injuries between 1 January and 30 June 1996. The patients ranged from 4 to 14 years in age (mean 6.5 years). Eighty-three (75.4%) sustained injuries to the upper limb and 27 (24.5%) injured the lower limb. Fifty-six patients, were girls and 54 were boys. Of the 110 patients, 79 (72.7%) sustained fractures, 28 (25.4%) soft tissue injuries and 3 (2.7%) dislocations. Eighty-three (75.4%) of the patients wore no protective equipment on the limbs. Four months following injury 103 (93.6%) patients were fully recovered. The mean duration of school absence was 3 days. Subsequently 101 children returned to using roller-blades following injury. Seventy-three (66.3%) of these now use protective equipment. We found that injuries were unrelated to age or duration of roller-blading experience or to the brand-name of roller blades used, and that most of our patients wore no protective equipment at the time of injury.  相似文献

Sensory-perceptual abnormalities in people with autism are discussed from two perspectives: published firsthand accounts and existing psychological research evidence. A range of abnormalities, including hyper- and hyposensitivity, sensory distortion and overload, and multichannel receptivity and processing difficulties, are described in firsthand accounts and frequently portrayed as central to the autistic experience. A number of dangers are inherent in uncritically accepting these accounts at face value and in any wider generalization to the autistic population as a whole. Evidence from clinical studies suggests that unusual sensory responses are present in a majority of autistic children, that they are manifested very early in development, and that they may be linked with other aspects of autistic behavior. In addition, experimental studies using a range of indices have found evidence of unusual responses to sensory stimuli in autistic subjects. However the clinical and experimental research to date suffers from serious methodological limitations and more systematic investigation is warranted. Key issues for future psychological research in the area are identified.  相似文献
